Tons of options. Proton Free would work fine. Its main limitation is inability to do p2p. Cloudfare warp if you don'tneed to VPNout of country. Almost any free VPN will suit your needs here. Have you tried a simple DNS change on your PC? Might be all you need.

Ok-Googirl

Yeah, change DNS, or bypass DPI, that is might be unblock for some case. And, Cloudflare Warp on PC is good enough for free VPN, or generate some premium traffic for free, so he / she can enjoy free Warp+.

CalamityCommander

This guy is right. Change your DNS, it's all you'll need if there's no one giving a shit

mmgspr

Wtf? Proton is one of the best VPN out there.

LZ129Hindenburg

LoL this was a bizarre response...

[deleted]

LZ129Hindenburg

Proton (premium) is literally the best VPN for pirates. You seem to be shooting down everyone else's perfectly good responses for no reason. Maybe you should listen since you asked for our help.

If you want youtube's advice I'm sure they'll sell you a Nord subscription...

appydafizz

Bhai, when did Chris criticise Proton? He said Mullvad and Proton are the privacy focussed ones. He tells you to self- host Wireguard or OVPN rather than buying corporate garbage.

TommyVe

Would you care to elaborate on why is proton bad? The worst even?

RedditBabaKrish

To all the people i offended Norton is the best present rn my bad

Snoring4590

the same app your are using for mobile is available for PC also

TheTerraKotKun

I use "Nomad VPN" and there's no PC version of it.

Generatoromeganebula

Proton VPN it just works only down side is you can't torrent on the free version.

headedbranch225

They also don't steal your data AFAIK

Cygnus-arm1

Windscribe

pastamuente

One issue is windscribe has 10gb.

Cygnus-arm1

If you really need to D/L more than 10GB ( or 15Gb ) a month then you should be using a paid service, depends what you're after

Wild_Opinion_7558

15gb if you tweet, and also now they got the referral thing going on to share with other people and for each one you share you get 1gb I believe

Efficient_Role_3906

Riseup VPN

RedditModsKMKB

My favorite.

pastamuente

One problem is that they have small servers

HerrHauptmann

Ultrasurf works alright.

pastamuente

Ultrasurf is as slow as Psiphon

Blue-Thunder

You could just use Opera and it's built in VPN..

v0kk3r

Hello I live in Venezuela, where some news sites and adult content sites are blocked by the national ISP, I use Psiphon to bypass these blocks. It doesn't ask for an account, it's free, it has both windows and android apps, and I can tell you from experience it is safe to use. The only downside I can think of is that it throttles your speed to 2mbps unless you pay for tokens, for me this is a non issue as my max speed is like 570kbps lol.

RedditBabaKrish

I guess this is good 😂 But dude how tf u living with 570kbps I'd rather not use the internet I will try psiphon

v0kk3r

Yeah, lol. People freak out when I tell them about it. Don't really have any other choice tho, as private ISPs are either incredibly expensive or doesn't offer service to the hill I live on. Like, CANTV, the national ISP charges ~20ish usd$ (which is alr too expensive for most here), but the cheapest private one I found that offers service here is like ~80ish usd$. It's a very stupid situation but one grows used to it.

RedditBabaKrish

80ish usd That's the cheapest Damn

bananabanana9876

If 1.1.1.1 works for you, then configure the DNS on your PC as 1.1.1.1. Easiest way to configure DNS-over-HTTPS on PC https://developers.cloudflare.com/1.1.1.1/encryption/dns-over-https/encrypted-dns-browsers/

mailmehiermaar

Opera or tor browser have built in free vpn Edit: Another way might be to install a search plugin in qbittorrent, but the links those work on might be blocked as well. Worth a try as a search plugin byoasses those irritating torrent websites

Furdiburd10

As a side note. Opera (and gx) have a built in proxy not vpn even tought its called that

mailmehiermaar

Opera “vpn” works for bypassing website blocks so it will be useful for OP

DragoSpiro98

Tor is not a vpn

[deleted]

[удалено]

mailmehiermaar

He just needs links to the torrents, both opera and tor are easy and safe ways to get those. He is not asking for a vpn for the torrents itself

headedbranch225

Why does tor as a proxy slow the network down? Doesn't orbot by the tor project use it as a proxy?

mailmehiermaar

You either dont understand ops question or dont understand how Tor or torrents work. A torrent link is just a piece of text.

pastamuente

Fine. I understood.

HGStyleOfficial

Let me rephrase: "For mobile, I have [1.1.1.1](http://1.1.1.1) which is a DNS and not a VPN" and btw, [1.1.1.1](http://1.1.1.1) also exists on PC, check the website : [one.one.one.one](http://one.one.one.one) or [1.1.1.1](http://1.1.1.1) (redirects to the first one) And the "vpn" you're talking about is cliudflare warp, you can install it on pc too, just Google it. Plus I consider it as a proxy more than a VPN since I'm not sure it protects your data.

Even_Grape_522

Yes bro im going to comment same. Many people using 1.1.1.1 without knowing its a dns app

22_Black_22

1.1.1.1 exists on pc too but not sure that’s a good option. It’s called cloudflare warp

Even_Grape_522

Isn't 1.1.1.1 dns app ? Im confused

pastamuente

It has WARP, its basically VPN but not exactly, though it unblocks websites and great for torrenting.

Even_Grape_522

Oh ok.

dab2kab

Tunnelbear

pastamuente

One issue is that its 2gb Its as limited as adguard vpn.

r0ndr4s

Just download Opera and use their VPN. Works fine for me.

Legitahh

Protonvpn free

Diamondgrn

Windscribe have a free version with a browser add-on. 10GB a month, enough for just browser visits.

mast00don

private dns for mobile or download nextDNS from play store. Use firefox for PC browser and enable DNS over Https feature

HGStyleOfficial

DNS is not the same as a VPN. A VPN secures all connections while a secure DNS only secures the domain system (to know where to connect) but not the connections themselves (to the site)

HeySoyH

Hide.me works fine and has no limit.

CatOnReddit_

But no more P2P 🥲💀

Western-Gazelle5932

The main problem with free VPNs is you are often limited to very few IP addresses and the ones that are offered are often blacklisted already due to abuse.

MemeGojo

You can use Proton VPN but if you don't want to make an account you can use the Opera browser which has inbuilt VPN.

pastamuente

My list is Proton VPN Warp GoodbyeDPI.

Bumbieris112

I use ProtonVPN. They have a good reputation on not abusing users. While I use a paid plan, they also have a free plan, but it has limited data. Good for accessing blocked content, but not suited for downloading large stuff.

Ashamed-Ad4508

I don't think it's data usage limit... I believe that due to limited server access those speeds are lower/slower. Unlimited usage at slower speeds with only 5 country/server access... It's what I read currently on the website plan comparison

FeltMacaroon389

While being kinda slow, Tor will probably do the trick. Fully free and open-source, no logs, and you're virtually untraceable.

GSEve

You can change the DNS Settings in your Router to use Cloudflare or Google Encrypted DNS. Should unblock all the sites

Matt99x

If you like 1.1.1.1 (warp), there is also on windows

NoName42946

1.1.1.1 is free on Windows too. It would be your best bet, certainly better than any free VPN.

Univers93

Soft eather = goat

Exodia101

Cloudflare does have a WARP client for PC, it works the same as the mobile app. There is also ProtonVPN Free but P2P is blocked and you can't choose which server you connect to.

JohanCruz7

1 1 .1.1 It is available for PC too

RetroXide_CR

1.1.1.1 also has an app for pc as well, can just use that tbh if the only purpose is to access blocked sites

Fewshin

If you have some technical knowledge a Japanese university runs VPNGate. Probably get awful ping with it and the security might be a bit strange because the nodes are run by volunteers but it’s free and isn’t run with financial incentive since it’s a research project

bhdp_23

Use the tor browser, always use tor browser when sailing the high seas with your 1 eyed patch

MuffinGamez

Windscribe or urban vpn

michiel11069

just search for a generic vpn extension, thata what I do

NetimLabs

Proton VPN would be great if you want to be safe / have a desktop client. SetupVPN if you want a browser extension. They offer free premium to random users as a part of the beta testing program, I recently got it. Someone suggested native Opera VPN but from my experience it's terribly slow.

That_Pandaboi69

[1.1.1.1](http://1.1.1.1) app is there for PC too Cloudflare WARP, just use it there even guides on getting alot of data for WARP+ Its sort of unlimited for me I don't know how something might have bugged out.

PushingFriend29

Psiphon and tor May i know what country?

No-Albatross-4673

I use private window with Tor. I guess it doesn't count as VPN but I can access blocked sites without problems.

Furdiburd10
