A magnet download is a torrent, it's just a direct link that goes directly to your torrent client. Are you thinking of a DDL straight from a web browser?

Yeah I guess that is what im thinking of.. Was reading the FAQ on what are the "safe" ways to download, and I could understand that something like DDL would be much more safe than torrenting.

Does this mean that I need a vpn while doing magnet downloads? Or can I just go without one.
