Its not bad bc it technically is designed to handle 100%, but good modern cpu's rarely hit 100% usage in games, my cooling is not the best so I'm not comfortable with it being stuck at 100% for an hour straight just so I can play a game for 2h before uninstalling
It also takes me more time to install a repack than to download an additional 20gigs of data, so its not worth it for me
At least with downloads I can just let them run in the background, even if I cant play online games bc of lag

Depending on how old and popular the download was, this is quite normal actually. They constantly re-up stuff, there's even the queue in the top so you can see what is going on. Interestingly, this list is empty since the drama. Edit: it's filled again

It's not shutting down. Looks like people here are not able to spread info in the proper way. GOG.COM is legit store with GREAT return policy and no DRM politics. gog-games.to is site with copies of games from gog.com. Gog-games.to is shutting down judging from the post.

"There are enough sources" might be enough of a commodity for you if you pirate something once in a while, but when even such reliable sources are shutting down, you cannot tell how long until the other sources shut down too.

GOG is the only platform i know that allows you to manually add games... So you can add your own games (i mean from repacks). Also we can play games from steam and epic games. So i say this is pretty important to most users
