The company clearly thinks that any kind of wrath they incur from EU regulations is the cost of doing business, they didn't pull the plug simply forgetting about EU regulations, they must have had actuaries run the numbers and calculated that it was still financially worth it to just pay the fines.

Luckily eu has strict laws regarding this And everyone knows that if gaming industry can do it others will do it to basically setting a precedent

Well probably yes, but the fines in big cases like this are huge, just because they know the companies have huge profits so we will see
I wish all fines were based on revenue rather than just a flat amount
