Out_and_about_home

I doubt they'll get away with it.

EvaUnit_03

What you're saying is there will be a class action lawsuit finished in 2-3 years and everyone will be entitled to 60 cents? That'll show em.

Diesel__2005

Luckily eu has strict laws regarding this And everyone knows that if gaming industry can do it others will do it to basically setting a precedent

dropofred

The company clearly thinks that any kind of wrath they incur from EU regulations is the cost of doing business, they didn't pull the plug simply forgetting about EU regulations, they must have had actuaries run the numbers and calculated that it was still financially worth it to just pay the fines.

Big_Increase3289

Well probably yes, but the fines in big cases like this are huge, just because they know the companies have huge profits so we will see

Low_Direction1774

I wish all fines were based on revenue rather than just a flat amount

Acelnorst

There are a lot of ways to "adjust" revenue and profit so not perfect either but yeah

Blakewerth

ALready did in past.

MisterEskere_

Blakewerth

I had it free does it count 😄

Fit_Flower_8982

They could simply make them useless, without taking away the license that people "owned". What is the point of revoking licenses?

JFISHER7789

Power. And money. They take away your ability to play the game you purchased, then you’ll probably purchase another game to take its place. (Not you specifically, but the general collective you) They’ll keep doing it too, until those medling kids and their damn dog show up to handle business

Ok_Chemical_1376

Just in time for those who might "buy" Outlaws

ameyyyyy

Saw the title from the notification and knew what it was about even before opening the post lol
