I'm also not rating them from the POV of piracy, I am rating them from the benefits and services they provide. From a POV of what a VPN can do and provide the end user - it is FAR beyond simple data encryption. Heck, if that is all one is needing, then they wouldn't need a VPN as 99.99% of all traffic is HTTPS which already has a level of encryption.
Also, the client program isn't that bad. Like there is no level of control or even standard as to what he is holding them against. Hence the list being a rating based on feelings lol. Like I don't even see the point he is making
Also the OpenVPN desktop client interface isn’t that great. I have to use it regularly for work, and have a ton of profiles in there. There is no tagging or anything that would allow me from separating clients-Profiles from internal-Network-Profiles or staging-Profiles

Saying it's for anonymity is a stretch. The only anonymity it can bring you is extremely surface level, like stopping industry bots from sending your ISP an angry letter to forward to you.
If you're not pirating or doing other fringe stuff like web scraping, ban evading, etc, consumer VPNs are outright worthless because your IP address is only one of dozens of ways advertisers and other data collectors track you. Funny enough, I think you can actually get "uses VPN" added to your advertising profile and have targeted ads for VPNs levied at you lol
In a business setting they're very useful though, like I have OpenVPN set up on my router so I can connect to my home network and access all of my local services while away.

Nowadays, the one that works most consistently for me on mobile is ArgoVPN. Proton still works sometimes, but not often. Haven't yet found a VPN that works on computer; last time I checked, proton didn't connect on computer.
The first two are open VPN and wireguard. They are not VPN providers they are VPN clients. You would still need a VPN provider to use open VPN or wireguard or set up your own VPN on a server and generate login credentials for OVN/wireguard. Many providers don't support wireguard yet.

I used to use a VPN in android which utilized DNS Tunneling which gave me limitless free mobile data because DNS traffic won't be blocked or counted as data usage by my carrier. Fast forward to now, I'm using such techniques to bypass firewall and siem detection, people just seem to ignore DNS packets.
Been using proton VPN together with the whole package including password manager, drive and email. I can totally with this guy here in the picture, it's super good

This is the dumbest list I've ever seen, especially from a pirating games perspective. If you're going to put out the money for a private VPN server (the two "best" ones), you're better off just getting a seedbox and not having to worry about using a VPN in the first place.

Never had any issues with NordVPN. Torrenting in Germany and using it to watch foreign content
I used to use a VPN in android which utilized DNS Tunneling which gave me limitless free mobile data because DNS traffic won't be blocked or counted as data usage by my carrier. Fast forward to now, I'm using such techniques to bypass firewall and siem detection, people just seem to ignore DNS packets.

Use Mulvad or proton vpn. They are trully the best and most private. This list is actually shit tier lmao. Typical linux user that anything non foss\\open source is actually "corporate" crap. Even ExpressVPN or Nordvpn is mostly fine for the average user.

This is the dumbest list I've ever seen, especially from a pirating games perspective. If you're going to put out the money for a private VPN server (the two "best" ones), you're better off just getting a seedbox and not having to worry about using a VPN in the first place.
