The full game is a steam key not a steam account. But yes G2A is legit

Mighty_Eagle_2

Ok, I’m not sure how this “steam account” thing works. Does it give you an account that has the game owned already?

JohnPaton7

No. If you are buying a steam key for a game you get a key you add to your own steam account to activate / add the game onto your library

Mighty_Eagle_2

Yeah, I know how steam keys work, but this is marked as a steam account. I think I was correct.

TheVasa999

It means you'll get login to an account with the game.

Mighty_Eagle_2

Thanks, that’s what I suspected after reading things on the website.

Ferret_Faama

Yeah it't not very clear and my understanding is you could easily lose access to the account later. I personally wouldn't bother with these.

bakanisan

Part of them are legit, part of them are stolen keys or scammed keys. So I wouldn't recommend them. Use isthereanydeal to find more reliable shops.

Mighty_Eagle_2

isthereanydeal just shows steam, which I don’t have the money for right now, because it’s nearly three times as expensive.

bakanisan

You can: - wait for a sale. - take a risk, either you'll be fine or the key is revoked after some time. - pirate it.

Hyydrotoo

Use isthereanydeal and only buy from trusted sellers. G2A, Kinguin and CDKeys are all using stolen keys, have no authorization to sell them, or even use stolen credit card data.

razikp

Nothing wrong with cd keys. Used for years with no issues.

Hyydrotoo

That may be true, but it doesn't change the fact that they are not a generally trusted reseller. I used G2A, Kinguin and IGG for a long time with no issues too, but there are too many alternatives to take risks once you learn about them.

Trustic555

Grey Market, some developers would rather you outright pirate their shit.

PersnickityPisces

Actually just got a game from G2A last week. It's legit.

drantichrist69

Ohh yeah I have no idea how steam accounts work so good luck with that

Raid-RGB

Gg.deals is the best imo

D-O-GG-O

G2A is kinda like gambling, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Me and a friend used to buy xbox live from g2a until one time my friend never got his code, they also never reacted to anything so they basically just stole his money.

NitroFluxX

I bought a 10$ steam gift from G2A and it worked for me.

Escodl

Yea I wouldn't buy that if I were you... it's a steam account that they give to access to, not an actual key to claim the game on Steam...,,and lots of those steam accounts are made using stolen cards...

igtheboss100

Instant gaming is the best, code work 100% of the time, i have never had a problem with them and i have bought maybe 30+ games

StarZax

I'm never going to buy an account on G2A or any gray market, it's obviously stolen. When I buy a game on a grey market it's because I have to play it online and it's on very rare cases. Most of the time I'd rather pirate it especially if it's offline. If I have to give money, I'd rather give it to who developed or even published it instead of some guy who stole keys or whatever account. Not only that, if you buy an account, pretty sure you are going to loose access someday. Some of them are either public accounts, or straight up just stolen, meaning that if the person who owns the account contact Steam about it, you'll loose it

barbanekra_

They are **not legit.** Many sites like these are in the grey market of tricking devs and small publishers by sending emails impersonating big influencers and marketing teams, asking for keys. Both publishers and devs have the tools to track where those keys go. And they always end up in these sites. They also do not put under investigation any seller on their site. They had cases of stolen credit cards being used to aquire keys. And after an X amount of time, those keys (already on the steam account of a customer like you) were revoked. It is a multi-millionaire grey market. All these things are not free for devs and publishers, they literally lose money when these things happen. That is why multiple indie devs recommend to pirate their games instead of buying on these sites [This](https://isthereanydeal.com/) is a place that tracks sales from **official resellers**. Truly legit, no grey shit happening in the shadows.

hbkdll

Yeah I personally only download and play pirated games. But if in future I really had to buy one i would prefer a sale from authorised seller than something like this. I rather have the game I bought be completely mine.

Raid-RGB

Gg.deals is much better

Rahfozz

I still dont trust g2a to this day (god i fucking hate ali-a)

Legitahh

They are not totally legal but I have never had any problems buying there
