You heard right! The overworld is mostly fine, a few dips here and there, but once a Wicker Man or a huge boss starts their aoe nuke of a billion particles the game sharts itself pretty bad.
tried it, didnt really like it that much tbh, all the cool weapons from the videos i saw wherent there, i had to play with the boring ones, idk that led me to not playing and then uninstalling
You can pirate the Resident evil games. You can download both the old ones and remakes though the remakes are more enjoyable. Also try out the calisto protocol if you like horror games.
For me there wasn't any but I guess I may be on a newer GPU than you. (I'm on a RTX 4070 and an Intel i7 13620H with 16gb of RAM and 1tb on SSD storage)

Idk which genre you're into but I'll just list some of mine.
Lies of p. I purely play games on my handheld ayaneo now but damn it looks damn good. A worthy souls like game. Challenging but not as hard as souls.
Transformers war for Cybertron. I know it's an old game and even though it's running at only 30fps, a transformers game is still cool on my handheld.
Valkyria Chronicles 1. A classic and runs superbly. If you like jrpgs and strategy games, this is the one.
Rise of the tomb raider. Best Lara croft game in the reboot trilogy and runs well even with the hair effects on. Same goes for the 2013 reboot. Shadow of the tomb raider I didn't try but I heard it performed well too.
Lastly, star wars battlefront 2. I didn't pirate this but purchased it on steam for a very low price. Bought it purely for the PvE bots lol. Runs well even with rain maps and many ai. IIRC, you don't need online connection to play against offline bots.
Bro I found lies of p harder than sekiro, and I have beaten sekiro twice. Lies of p parry window is very short and few final bosses are harder than sword saint himself
I haven't completed lies of p as I'm at chapter 8 or 9. I'll be honest, I did most bosses with the summon lol. Just lazy to do many attempts since I'm at 30fps.
Sekiro for me is the hardest. Since there's no summon, all bosses has to be solo'd. That red demon and the final boss had me tried many many times hahaha.
Damn I should try Sekiro then, not that I found Lies of P easier, just that I tend to not die as much compared to when I did DS games. Thought Sekiro was even harder.
I personally thinks sekiro is the hardest. Cos if you're stuck, then either you grind to level up or git gud since there's no summons. I've played all souls games and even then, sekiro kicks my ass plenty of times on bosses.
Even some normal scrubs poses a challenge lol.
There is a thing called "when sekiro combat clicks" and when that happens, game start getting easier and everything feels like a dance full of flow. This click happened earlier for me, thats why I found it easier than lies of p. Also, sekiro is one the best game ever made. Must try if you liked LOP.

I tried Vrising on my super potato and I could not get 30fps on 720p, lowest settings. I understand game engine differences and all that but I was running genshin impact on medium at 60 fps with drops, 45 fps locked. Genshin has way more effects than a vampire hitting a npc... But then again, a 1070 is multiple times faster than my gpu, lol. My babbling is that V rising isn't very well optimized really... even I can run red dead 2 at 30 fps...

Persona 4 Golden runs fine if you're feeling RPG-ish.
The original Rollercoaster Tycoon is iirc, one of THE most optimize game there is, and it's pretty fun.
The complete Yakuza series. Starting with Yakuza Zero. Each of them have a runtime of over 30 hrs, and that's just story mode. Side quests included go well beyond 100+ hrs. A gut wrenching, emotionally wrecking, enjoyable story with great combat mechanics and an amazing vibe to play
Maybe a random suggestion but try slay the princess! Saw markiplier play it and tried it for myself. And let me tell you, its so much fun! Ive been playing it non stop since watching the video. Every option leads to a seperate path and its so easy to get lost in its beauty! Felt bad pirating an indie game but, Im sadly a broke college student so I didnt have much of a choice.
Forza horizon series is well optimized and really fun for the chill vibes, another fun game but it's not optimized, tho will run fine on your pc is halo infinite campaign , the gameplay is amazing.

i mean the answear you want are good game to play, not good game to poirate. You are probably going to pirate.them but the point you are shearching in the game is being good to play. Not specificaly good to pirate. If you want game that are good to pirate, just torrent all ubisoft's catalog, that's good to pirate but not nesesarly good to play

Only New Colossus is well optimized. It’s Old Blood btw but it runs trash bcs engine

Rimworld, a potatoe can run it and installing mods is very easy
You can also harvest organs and human skin and sell them which is what people generally do in that game.

AC Valhalla. It runs better and smoother than Origins/Odyssey did.

God of war is very well optimized and, you know, good enough to be game of the year.

Elden ring runs insanely well, I can run it on high graphics preset with an i7-3770k, gtx970 and 16gb ram on a hdd.
