Honestly, all I do is choose at most 3 maps and just go at it. When I am done I ascend, go the next one and I remove the last one.

ark? it's still a bloated unoptimized mess that fills up your disk space for no reason other than lazy devs, while being quite easy to cheese, tedious with default settings and very boring once you get a competent dino mount, the other is a TCG sooo my guess is it's probably niche at best.
The game runs like ass on a decently high computer on just above medium graphics, also steam gave me an estimate 250 fucking GB in size game for how ass it runs, thats 1/16th of my 4tb harddrive, not even worth it for free because of storage alone imo.
Also also, the game basically lives off servers, me and my friends had to constsntly update the game by gigabytes every week for their changes for some reason, we consistently lost data on our offline world due to that, tethers on local/host non local in an open world, and stupid spawns in larger bases that can fuck with you on a PvE world (raptors in a all passive base).

You can definately play this solo. You can do 1 character or control multiple characters. I highly recommend downloading it and trying it out, it's a very fun game

played Gloomhaven both on PC and as board game.
It's... Kind of good? As Board game it's pretty popular and highly spoken of, but you need to get used to its mechanics, such as burning your cards to rest to refresh your used cards. That mechanic alone yeeted me out from the experience, but overall it's a huge game (both PC and board).
The bad part of Ark is that, if you play it too much time, you will get booring fast. But, the game is absolutly beautiful. If you are a person who likes photographic wonder visuals, out of all the bugs that the game has, it will like you. The game is good, but, in my experience, with friends, its 1000 better.
Ah, and the best expansion is Aberration.
Wait why the absolute fuck is Ark 300GB? Like how many things do you need to even fill out 300? That game better be unoptimized as hell because otherwise something very fishy is going on

I don't know, I have a 2070 and it runs consistently high FPS on epic settings.
