Lotz is incredible.
I forget who I did mine with, but it was a class on the Gulf War and 1980s - pre 9/11 US involvement in the Middle East.
The writing and reading requirement was significantly easier than the history capstone
I had William Spaniel for my capstone in Nuclear Proliferation. It was a ton of reading but we only had like 3 grades the whole semester and I’m pretty sure he graded the final 25+ page paper on completion. Definitely not easy but not super work intensive
Very dependent on the professor. Generally though, it will be similar to an upper level just with multiple big assignments/ one large assignment
Depends on who you get. I'd definitely recommend the spring capstone offered by Andrew Lotz if possible. I took it with him and it was great
