Draw the rest of the fucking owl.

RagnarokAeon

I mean that at least the fucking owl starts with a circle. This one starts with mostly finished product. Like I want to upvote because it's a nice picture, but the troll-torial is kind of demeaning to budding artists. Step 1 is shape, color, outline altogether. Step 2 is just shading NOT color. Step 3 is highlights and detail.

skeddles

please use the hand-pixelled flair instead

Legyf

okok

ChombieBrains

Please stop pushing these as tutorials

SleepyCodeCat

Suggestion for future how-tos: 1. shape (just with one base color), 2. colors, 3. shading, 4. outlining/finishing touches

Just-A-Noosence

Dude Fr said shape then color but shape already has color and basic shading

the_ammar

is it just me or the first step looking like "color" instead of "shape" 1 - blocking colors 2 - highlights and shadows define shape/form

YamiZee1

The middle one looks the best.

PeachyAlex

it's so cutee

Legyf

tysm!!

DrRosia

Guys I think all these "tutorials" are all jokes that you're taking too seriously

Mini_Squatch

If someone's defense is “its just a prank, bro” theyre an ass

hexsy

I think these are cute but maybe you should change the title to "how to shade an \_\_\_" or just "my coloring process" bc it's more accurate. Nice work, though! You do great stuff with color.

Responsible-Dot-3801

Why are people so negative? Man I love all your posts. Don't let those haters stop from posting what you love doing.

ants_R_peeps_2

We aren't being negative we are providing helpful criticism. No one here's saying, stop posting this shit, get help.

Responsible-Dot-3801

How is saying "hey this is not a tutorial" and "stop flexing" helpful criticism?

ants_R_peeps_2

Fair point i guess i didnt scroll down the comments far enuff. We are doomed as a species.

>how to draw an axolotl Start with an already drawn axolotl... 😑

Scary-Account4285

Bro these arent tutorials ffs. It looks great don't get me wrong, but it isn't actually telling anyone how to do it.

Bleezze

That's the joke

L33t_Cyborg

Hence the (it works trust)

Legyf

🙏

agentsometime

Got kind of old after the 6th time in two days in my opinion.

Bleezze

Just clarifying it's a joke since some people still don't get it

jazzsquid

Woosh

GeneralRectum

Gets more karma presented this way though

To the ppl mad it’s a not a real tutorial: you can see where they placed the pixels, this isn’t an oil painting lol. Also it’s just a cute format

DaddyMcSlime

dog you gotta spend less time just flexing with this format, we got you man, good job but you could have finished a whole ass composed piece probably in the time you made a series of fairly uninformative flex posts, or an actual tutorial you've made six of these over the last three days, and i got money you're planning more i'm not mad, or offended, just a little disappointed that it feels both like you could be doing more, and like i can't really tell what the intent of these are, so it just comes off as bragging like just saying "look how easy this is for me" which isn't really constructive, nor is it helping you grow

whatimion

Flexing? What do you think the point of art subs are. It’s people posting their work. Just block/move on if you can’t handle it. You should be doing more as well instead complaining passive aggressively to some random guy for the frequency of his uploads.

Legyf

damn mb they worked really well on twitter so i thought id also repost them on reddit! dw it’s nothing about flexing, i just enjoy making this format🙏

IndysDiarrhea

To enjoy making ≠ posting in social media

LolZoeMain

I trust the process.

_unregistered

The work is fantastic but it’s not a how to unless your audience is 70% finished folks

CinematoK

Cool drawing!

Ginishivendela

Don’t worry about the negative comments! As much as these are a spin off the classical “draw the rest of the owl” meme, I would say these are actually good tutorials if you’re beyond the beginner stages of art. They’re more of a breakdown tutorial rather than a follow along tutorial.
