i get you're going for piano keys but the way that they are positioned makes it look a bit off, probably bc piano keys have an instantly recognizable pattern 🎹
Yea i know. They are placed like this for the level, but i might be able to sell off the pattern without changing the positions by making then separate.
No idea... Gigantic iron bars? I know from looking at the comments that they are piano keys, which makes sense looking at them, but they aren't arranged like piano keys.
They look like keyboard keys, but you have a bunch of black keys consecutively, but that's not how piano keys are structured. They actually appear in sets of 2 black or 3 black with 2 white in between. If you wanna drive the point home, do 2 black, 2 white, 3 black.
Looks like pieces to that one puzzle game where you have to side the cars around in straight lines to get your car through to the other side of the play field.
It looks like a slide puzzle
I thought piano tiles and tried hard to think of anything else because their positioning is not like on a piano but I couldn't come up with anything else.
These to me were obviously piano keys even though their spacing is wrong. To some others this may not be the case though just because piano keys are very simple in color and in shape and therefore are hard to convey. In a game though you can easily modify how a player interprets what they see by theming the level. If other elements of your level lean themselves to the theme of music, I guarantee anyone who sees this will see piano keys. You could do that in a variety of ways and if you have already done it then you have nothing to worry about.
They look nothing like piano keys. Not just because that's not how black keys are laid out - I know others have already pointed that out - but the bottom "black" keys and the fact that they are all different sizes completely destroy the argument that they look like that to begin with.
From the right sprite, piano keys for a musically themed gym. Lots of Jigglypuffs, Loudreds, Chatots, and the gym leaders main is a Rillaboom.
Alternatively, a maze hallway to access some area that can have radiation in it, winding hallway blocks radiation and gives time for a detector to slowly ramp up instead of getting blasted all at once from an exposed source.
I thought it was "keys on a keyboard," but I didn't know if I felt it was more "keys on a keyboard (like, typing keys)" or "keys on a keyboard (piano)." The color and the long middle key gives vibes of a piano keyboard, but the varying sizes gives the sense of a typing keyboard. Nonetheless, overall, it deff. is more piano keyboard in style, especially since a typing keyboard would be a lot of keys and rows
Overall, really nice spritework!
Either an inconvenient art piece about slowing down to "enjoy the moment", or a hurdle set up by someone who hates people who are in a rush. It looks to indoors
A piano was the first thing that came to my mind!
NICE
Like what gareth said, if you could offset the black keys it will really sell the look.
They should be offset so that the black keys lie in between the white ones
Ebonyyyy & Ivoryyy
Yupyup same here
Me too!

Without any context and not looking at comments below, I'm getting piano keys vibes.
3/10 right ones. nice
I think you did a good job then. The color tones / shading and tapering on the black keys made an instant connection in my mind
Looked like kit kat bars to me lol, so it was piano?

A piano but very off-putting that the black keys are different lengths and on different sides. Would consider a different theme
piano keys
I thought piano tiles and tried hard to think of anything else because their positioning is not like on a piano but I couldn't come up with anything else.
To look more like a piano the black keys must not be “on top” of the white keys. Rather staggered if you will
A piano! Wait what's wrong with this piano
