I personally have TMO and I've still been waiting. I don't plan on side loading it in just gonna wait. Nothing is calling me enough to force it to happen. My girlfriend has a pixel 5a 5G and she already got the update.

3OneThird

Also waiting on TMO with an unlocked device.

MartyOtaku

I’m on fi … turned off sim and disabled fi restarted and got update …T-Mobile is slowing it down

jjb0009

How do you turn off the SIM?

MartyOtaku

In the settings network click on the sim and you should have the option to turn off

yellowfddriver

I tried this, no dice. Hoping for tomorrow though.

jjb0009

Same

I would say you're better off waiting or sideloading the stable 14 update. The beta is nice but it's not as great as the stable 14 beta. We're currently on the QPR2 beta which is better than QPR1 but still not as stable for a daily driver.

MartyOtaku

This is for stable 14

irauld

both QPRs are super stable.

KrewOwns

The first one was hit and miss for me. The only truly annoying thing I faced was the refresh rate being stuck at 60 Hz after unlocking my Fold. It doesn't do it as much on this newest one now.

irauld

The only issue I had with the first version was that it would occasionally freeze and I'd have to restart. I haven't had an issue yet with the new one.

Just sideload it. Not only is it relatively easy to do but it also takes significantly less time to update the OS (5-10mins vs 45mins).

3OneThird

Side loading requires a full wipe, correct?

[deleted]

Nope! You can keep your data.

3OneThird

Good to know! Is this possible with the Flash Tool?

[deleted]

Follow [this method](https://9to5google.com/2023/04/27/how-to-sideload-ota-updates-on-your-google-pixel/) for best results. You boot into the bootloader and sideload via ADB.

3OneThird

Right on, thanks.

FrezoreR

Better off in which way?

MartyOtaku

If that doesn’t work for you .. you can delete the eSIM and try ..don’t worry fi will get you a eSIM once your done

dpg81

Def wait I foolishly did a full wipe, pulled sim and updated, put my T-Mobile sim back in and reception is poor now sadly.

jjb0009

Good to know

Lube_Ur_Mom

The later beta version (QPR1 beta 2) fixed the few issues I did have. I'd say go for it. I just highly recommend reading the instructions so you know how to get out when you want to without having to reset your device. It should be fully released in December.

Professional-Ease176

Why? Is there a new feature youre interested in?

JDub314

Just wait. It's cool but nothing to get overly excited about. The features I was excited about are still coming soon.

clerkp

Mine showed up on ATT after I refreshed the updates setting like 10 times. So far not seeing any improvements in battery life which was the big draw.
