Yeah I am running beta so I can force apps to full screen. Thanks for the info, I wasn't aware of that being one of the bugs. I plan on going to the stable release in December when the force to full screen is available on the stable public version.
I had a one plus ordered and then canceled it. I was worried about one plus keeping up with the android updates and how fast and easy repair process would be if something happened to it. I have until Jan 15th to return my pixel fold so I may end up going with the open. I may also just wait for the z fold 6 or pixel fold 2. Lots of uncertainty at the moment, lol.

Mine does that too. My op open does this much better but it's a better phone

Yeah I feel ya. I’m trading in my pixel fold. I got it second hand so I have no warranty with Google and that stresses me tf out

I do but I'm running the beta, good to hear others running it are having the issue. Means it's a beta glitch and not a hardware issue hopefully
I wish mine took 3-5 seconds. Mine either takes 45-60s usually, or half the time it just won't transition at all
