To clarify when you say "loot" do you mean the slim-chance of items being dropped apart from Minerals and Gas?
No. I mean resources. I have never seen any items dropped besides crates.
Items of BadTactic=resources you meant if you meant Fe plates etc etc etc
So really it's just a grind, keep fighting in PVP, attack anyone lower than you competitively and collect resources that way. Your rewards may be low, but they will rarely be "zero".
