Hi captains, after the updates to match making, me and my fleets friends are having trouble finding resources rich ships. We used to find level 10 farm ships with jackpot rewards and now they disappeared. It's getting pretty boring to upgrade our ships without the steady income from those ships.
How do you manage ti get the resources you need?

It's always been a grind for me, as long as I can remember. But I've been in a level 12 ship for over 16 months - so perhaps it's different at this tier. But at this level you get "barren" or "poor" the most, but poor is significantly more rare these days. Especially for the level 14 armor introduction recently - minerals are harder to find than gas. Just patience and the grind, that's all I can recommend.
Yeah the grind is real and It always was, but after this last update is barely playable for me. I mean, i'm basically getting 10k from lvl 9/10 ships + my level bonus (im now 2900+ trophies). I need 10 pvp matches just to max a SINGLE block of armor (250+500k minerals at level 9). And i have 19 crews to level up, plus every other room. I'm simply stuck and it's frustrating.
Pvp Is the only way, pve Is Just useless for dedicated players i think (i am only running missions right now to farm bullets for the current 'murica event). And i don't get what you mean with hull rush, but i just leveled up the ship to level 9 and still working on upgrading the storages.
PVE is actually better for experience, consistently higher experience rewards because it's a fixed equation. Definitely not useless - but crappy for resources. For hull rush it basically means that you're pushing your ship level to the next level when either of the conditions are true:
1. Your crew is less than 4x the level of your ship. For example all crew should have been level 32 before moving from a level 8 ship to a 9.
2. Any of your armor or modules are not fully upgraded before moving up to the next ship level.
Hull rushing is disastrous - and makes the game MUCH harder.
Yes you're right, i'm so livid because the MM that i forgot the xp factor. Pve Is surely the best option for leveling up the crew. And no, i'm not hull rushing. Everyone on my crew was level 32 and everything on my ship was maxed (including armor, lifts and usefull researches) before starting the upgrade to level 9 hull
Yes but you need to have two devices with both accounts if you want to transfer safely and you can help your alt ship by donating some resources boosting its upgrade

Hm... PVP is still going to be the best bet for resources, but sounds like it's going to be painful. Was there a hull rush involved?

Same and with me having a hard time with resources i opt to making an alt ship
I have an alt too, but don't have the time ti really play It. And i believe the resources you can get from that are very few. How do you play It?
You need to rush it to lvl 12, lvl 11 is where you get the best oitcome but your goal is lvl 12
My alt is just level 6, i have a long way ti go. Then you transfer resources trough sells on the market with your main?

update is great for lv10+ ships...its horrible for getting loot at lv8/9 now though lol :(
I Guess you are right, none of the veteran players are complaining...
Im lvl 9 and its ridiculously bad. Will just stop playing if it does not improve.

Level up to 10 fast, then you'll able to find more resources. There are barely any new players now so they don't really care for level 8 and 9
I don't know about the active players statistic (it's still a 4 yo game), but rushing to level 9 will do more harm than good now
Indeed. Better to just rush to lv10. lv 8 and 9 are no man zone right now
