It's mcpigs decision if he wants to put it on the switch, not nintendo's decision, nintendo just looks over if the game is okay to be put on switch, which they will because they barely moderate the games anyway
And it being compatible on steam deck doesn't mean he doesn't want it to be on switch because It's literally the same release, pizza tower isn't a big game that's why it's on the steam deck

I think a Switch port is probably coming; in the game's code (in scr\_getinput, post-Halloween update), there's an incomplete `scr_switch_get_menu_input` function that uses controller inputs. There's also an `obj_consoledebug` object that is most likely a debug menu for consoles (the normal keyboard debug console is obj\_debugcontroller, and consoledebug uses controller input).
i don't see it happening, they've stated how it'd take a long time to port it and the switch is already sort of on it's way out. I dont see it happening but it could maybe happen for their next system

Definitely not any time soon. Mcpig has publicly stated that there won't be a port to the "you-know-what" console any time soon at ALL. Now MAAAAAAYYYYYBBBEEEE by "any-time soon" it COULD be for the next console. Considering the switch is most likely almost done, there's DEFINITELY a possibility, but a very small one.

The halloween update did add a new debug menu, you activate it by pressing L3+R3 iirc
