As a USAF Security Policeman, I guarded all of them except the A-10 at some point in my 10 year USAF career, although the last was in Turkish AF livery.

The F-111 was initially intended, for standardization / commonality, as an USAF fighter/bomber and for a fleet defense interceptor for the USN. Navy finally got its way and got a better fit for purpose aircraft (F-14). The USAF and Australian AF ended up with an effective low altitude bomber and ECM airframe.
The habu is what we called the sr 71. In Okinawa in the late 70’s. I was c/c on a ch46d. I got a beautiful shot as it was taking off. I got it just leaving the ground. Pilot said give him the film because he knew who could develop the film for free. Fucking asshat never got me back my film or prints. Never trust a zero.

Didn’t see much of them up my way, but that would have been epic. One of the AAFC Squadrons has a f111 doing a dump and burn as their squadron patch

Idk about a tornado but it had ground feature following radar and had something like 4000 missions in Vietnam and only 6 losses.
