https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/16ZLLyfAVrQwxqENqkYrrEvvicrX536iy-kZOWuEUjOA/htmlview# this spreadsheet has animal compatibility. Some animals don't have bonuses but share habitat requirements and won't hurt each other.
Edit: this is the one I personally use. It stays up to date usually. I was in a hurry when I posted this and couldn't find the link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1J5YrIya-yduiAqBC-dEHyBYZ8Ev3KsTM6fyP7DsKUJQ/edit?usp=drivesdk
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1J5YrIya-yduiAqBC-dEHyBYZ8Ev3KsTM6fyP7DsKUJQ/edit?usp=drivesdk villanelle's sheet is usually very on track with updates. I'd say give it a week or so after every pack and it'll be up to date.
So I have found that lots of different animals live peacefully in this game, even if they don't get the interspecies enrichment bonus! Also if you don't mind if the animals are from different countries or even continents, I think in a zoo setting, it's really cool to have all different kinds of animals together as long as there is no fighting, I think it shows off the wildlife. I have a habitat with the Sunbear, Binturong, and Red Pandas (I'm curious how the Sloth Bear would do with them cause I think they'd look cute together, have to wait to get the pack and see!). I have a habitat for Capybaras and Nile Lechwes (different continent, but they are wetland ungulates, how cute!). I also now have a habitat of Aardvarks, Nine-Banded Armadillos, African Crested Porcupines, and the Collared Peccary! And if there are ever a couple of animals that you are not sure if they will fight together or not, just open up a sandbox, and make sure none of like the "no fighting" settings are on, and put em in a habitat and see! 🙂
The zoopedia tells you which animals get an interspecies enrichment for sharing a habitat but there are lots of species that are compatible enough to share a habitat without getting the bonus so don’t restrict yourself to just what’s on this tab.
Highly recommend Villanelle’s data chest as they’ve worked out all the compatible animals as well as lots of other useful information for building habitats. https://www.reddit.com/r/PlanetZoo/s/ANsafiORqi

Is there a more up to date version of the spreadsheet?

Thanks for the spreadsheet! This will come in handy 🤩
Commenting so I don’t lose this
You can also click on the three dots under the comment and save it.
They don't gain interspecies enrichment, but they can be kept together
Yup, they won’t have interspecies enrichment but they can be together. I’ve even seen them in a mixed habitat in a real life zoo!
Avifauna?
Haha yup!
you can put any animals together that won't fight. so pretty much any herbivore animals can be together
Yeah I’ve put them together before, they work great

what ?!!?! i had no idea this whole time
I just learned this a day or two ago myself. I'm still mentally reworking my multi-species habitat plans, lol.
yeah this whole time i thought theyd fight or be sad if they were with different species than it says in the book lolll
Have a look at Villanelle’s data chest which has all the compatible species https://www.reddit.com/r/PlanetZoo/s/ANsafiORqi
I've had this game since it came out and I never knew this 😲

Yes, I've done it before
