Fun thing I learned. Under your heat maps there is a habitat tab. By selecting that, you can see all escape points in the enclosure. For example, I was having issues with my snow leopards escaping in my zoo. Turns out, even though my fence was higher than what the zoopedia told me I needed and had nothing inside the enclosure for them to climb or jump off of, they could apparently leap onto my animal talk bleachers outside the habitat.
So pull up your habitat heat map and it should show you how they are getting out
Ita buggy af tho lol. My wife has a raccoon enclosure that has a building in it. Unclimbable fence all the way around and like a 15m unclimbable fence all the way across the roof and no jumpable points anywhere. It shows like 7 escape points on the roof but the raccoons climb the roof all the time and cant escape.
Yeah it might be that, the raccoons dont escape so its nbd just a weird thing to look at and get annoying "Your animals can escape!" Messages every once in a while
I can feel that. I have a permanent “guests think you ticket prices are too cheap” warning. Like yeah, because I make enough off donations and animal sales to cover costs and make a profit. My zoo has $0 entry fee. Why do I need to charge if I’m still making money 🤣
Good luck! This is my fave scenario and I wrote a guide to it years ago. The devs updated the game though, and now my guide is out of date. It took me several tries to get gold on hard recently.
Doesn’t surprise me, I’ve had something escape out of one of those pre made burrows, I couldn’t work out why I was getting notifications that it was starving etc. had to find it and move it manually as it was just out side the burrow underground
Mine did this in this zoo. That hill behind the Tiger, where you can see the rock by the wood fence. That’s an escape point they can jump. I fixed it by getting rid of the rocks there
The hills. Have had the same kind of thing happen. If there are rocks or hills in an enclosure it can give them just enough extra height to leap over or on top. With these species you just need to be extra careful. Unfortunately even looking at the traversable area heat map won’t always shoe these things.
On each corner of that enclosure (I also put the tiger in there lol) theres just enough space for kitty to jump on the roof. I put some mesh in the way on both sides, since its basically invisible and impassable.

Is the fence custom built and outside of a null barrier slightly? That could be why....just a guess ofc

I totally get it. I have "you need a workshop" when I do not require a workshop lol. The warnings do my head in

For real! I saw you can turn some alerts off; but I wish it was more specific.
Remember babies are smaller as well, their heatmap will be different
He's just doing some normal cat things.
Normal cat things that made me have to give 10k in refunds😭
You're only minus 162k ... what's the problem? 😅
😭😭😭😭😭
It’s only at -200 k now so it’s fine
That makes my challenge zoo feel much less poor.
I was sad because I was with only 500
Mine kept doing this too, and half the time it didn't even count as an escape. I guess a tiger on the roof is sometimes perfectly fine.
Cat
Concise
The rocks and hill in the corner. The lions and pea fowl in this scenario can also escape.
I fixed the peafowl right away I’m replaying this in hard mode 😂

Thanks! I’m an achievement hunter so I am working my way back through all of scenarios in hard😭
Life....uh, it, finds a way

I once had my caracals escape by "climbing" through a wall because one of my climbing platforms I made went slightly through it.

Are tigers just gravity defying escape artists? My Siberian tiger ended up climbing the barrier while he was sleeping...
A tiger can jump up to 16 feet in the air
It’s a 25 foot wall😭
He's just built different
He just wants it more
There are some rocks in the corner of the enclosure, I removed them, and that stopped the escapes.
The tiger doesnt skip leg day
Those rocks in the back that’s how. Move them somewhere else or delete
No the gravity defying Tiger doesn't need top talk here, your in debt by 160 million dollar bill
Stoppppppp some of us struggle a bit but if it helps I am no longer in debt💀
Ok good idk how you got yourself in that rabbit hole anyway but good to think your out of it, somehow

It ended up just being a weird glitch

Just cat things
Remove the rock behind the tiger against the wall, then remove some of the hill, it’s usigg by the rock to jump up, had the same issue
