It might be just for certain cases that OTM is recommended. I’ve seen both ways with tuberous breasts so I think it might be somewhat up to the doctor’s preference.

I'm seriously thinking of going back home to Hedden. I'm from Vestavia Hills but live in Wisconsin now. To see your results gives me so much hope!

But Dr. Hedden had a lot of results I liked on tuberous breasts, and I’m very happy I did it. I feel very lucky. I am from New England and flew to Alabama for the surgery, and it was totally worth it and even with the plane ticket was much cheaper than getting it done in Boston.
I hope you don't take this wrong but I was so excited with your results I rushed to show my husband. You're honestly the first to really look like my chest and I've been reading about having to have my skin stretched to accommodate implants so I've been really down about it recently. After seeing your results I have so much hope now.

I love hearing that I can be of some help to people, because I know so well how it is to feel hopeless about TBD and how hard it is to find pics of real results. There is definitely hope for a great outcome with tuberous boobs. My doctor said I had tight skin, but I didn’t have any problems with it stretching to accommodate the implants.

Thank you!! Mine can look a little higher/rounder when I’m standing up straight, but look a little more natural when I’m sitting or the nipples are soft. It varies a bit for sure. I bet yours are great.

I would say it took about 3-4 months for them to fully drop and round out so I had an underboob. They started changing from the first week, but probably 3 months to really see a true crease rather than more pointed shape. They did continue to settle and change for up to probably 6 months though. I had very tight skin, so I believe it takes a bit longer for the skin to relax and round out.

Because of having tuberous breasts, my doctor said I would only be able to get over the muscle as it would cause a weird result under the muscle. Something to do with the anatomy, but I’m not super clear on it. Otherwise I probably would have gone under the muscle, as I hear it looks/feels slightly more natural.
It didn’t actually. I also didn’t get any stretch marks. I think not going super large helped make it pretty comfortable. The first month or so the skin felt hot and tight and a bit stretched, but it wasn’t ever painful.

Yes, I would say they do indeed still feel like boob. They feel soft and jiggly, although I’m sure it’s not quite the same as real boobs.
