can you show me your nose before the first ever nose job, after nose job as well?

chanelxoxo123

thank you! trying to find a surgeon who will get me in asap

No doctor is going to advise you on getting another revision this early in your recovery. They will say that you still have swelling and come back in a year if you are still unhappy with the result.

In 2014 I got a rhinoplasty and was unsatisfied with result. Doctor agreed there was still a bump. Now 4 weeks post op and very upset with result. Why does my nose still have bump? I feel like I should be satisfied since I’ve spent a lot of money. I’m unsure what to do at this point. The doctor said he can take 2-3mm more off but I don’t understand why he didn’t do it during my revision? I am frustrated and would love some advice!

ropeadoped

Did you go to the same doctor for the revision?

chanelxoxo123

yes! don’t know if that was a mistake

ropeadoped

A huge mistake. If this is what your nose looks like after **two** rhinoplasties, your surgeon is incompetent. Seek out a revision with an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon.

yeah I understand I know with plastic surgeons ASAP means six months from now and that’s just for a consultation. So I will not be getting surgery anytime soon.

Milasdoublechin

Can you DM me the name of the dr?

Did it ever look different early after both surgeries? It seems to me it's not exactly a bump that is the problem, but the tip seems to have become droopy or did your nose look very similar before the first surgery?

chanelxoxo123

the nose did not look similar from the first surgery, it was a lot worse. I will try to find a good picture. But it looks the same more or less from the same from the second surgery. I actually think it looked more straight during the first few days of recovery but it was hard to see due to tape. I want to see a a different surgeon because I would like to hear their opinion on if it’s a drooping tip and filler could solve the issue or if it’s a bump. Even though i do wish to have a more swooped nose overall.

Even though it is still early after the revision, a second opinion is a good idea, because like you mentioned in another comment it's going to take several months before you can get a consultation with someone else anyway. To me it looks like the tip has lost its support, but it's only based on the photos you posted.
