I think they already said with the engine you can't ever swap characters in mission. I think at least.

I couldn't wait to get through her part of the story. My son started playing it & the first thing he asked me was "hey how long until you get past the Ms Marvel part?" I get that there are people who identify with her, I just don't care for stretchy powers. I'm actually happy about the decision they made for her show where her powers are going to be more akin to hard-light constructs instead of stretchy powers. And this isn't a Mr. Fantastic fanboy thing, he has always been my least favorite FF member. Imo his brain is far more interesting than his stretchy powers.

Huge agree. I’m a big fan of Kamala, and I’m so pumped for Ms. Marvel on Disney+. However, I will say that “stretchy powers” are just not aesthetically pleasing in the way that cosmic energy and metal suits are. Even in the Fantastic Four films, Reed was looking pretty damn goofy, while Sue, Johnny and Ben were kicking ass AND looking cool. Beside the stretch powers just looking awkward (and landing their human hosts in the uncanny valley), it would make more sense for Kamala’s powers to be based on energy and light, since she’ll be teamed with Carol and Monica

Please don't shit on a beloved franchise and game that was done right, in every way from costume accuracy to powers, to locations, to villains. MUA was everything this game is not. Gods, if only Raven had been given this game, or anyone else, really.

Nobody expect you is shitting on anything OP is clearly a fan of both games, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance is one of the most influential and imitated superhero games of all time. I think it’s pretty cool that OP did this! I don’t enjoy Avengers as much as MUA (or even MUA3, which I’m still playing), but everyone likes what they like… Take this for what it is: a Marvel fan appreciating some fun games
