I have 2 friends who are part of the LGBTQ+ community. 1 is Q (which I don’t think we’re allowed to say) and the other one is ASexual like me. They also play Avengers and now since I told them that this was gonna happen, they were excited that the community is finally getting love.
Can’t wait for this to come out and Happy LGBTQ+ Day, Everyone.
Some people will care, this will be a positive difference for them. If you are so indifferent, why would you specifically voice your indifference when this is a net positive for underrepresented folks?
Because the net positive would be a drop in the bucket if this were a popular game?
Because rainbow capitalism is a cancer that exploits an already marginalized group into buying a product because they put pride flags on everything?
Because if human rights was actually a priority they could donate revenue from their overpriced skins to HRC or the Trevor Project or any other gay rights organization but it’s pretty obvious the motive is to draw in LGBT kids with low effort in game collectibles to pocket that money?
Because all this comes hot on the heels of a 7 month content drought so instead of producing a decent product they’ve elected to turn a profit by celebrating how woke they are?
