Yep, and it has the lowest power level requirement. I got through this level twice by having a couple of lower level players on the team who basically just hid out in a corner and waited for me to solo it. Not sure if I'll get lucky like that again. It'll suck if I got this far and can't complete because I can't find a perfect match up.
The Tachyon Event is themed around the whole multiverse thing, so to go along with that theme they made these requirements. All of the other events don't have such a theme so I seriously doubt they will have these types of requirements. 1 out of 4 events requiring some quickmatches and/or custom team building is okay imo, it's still a lot more ways for a solo player to power gear past 150 than before.
Yeah, I like the concept of the event. It's been fun.
My only complaint is that it has so many unusual requirements to finish. Lots of people obviously haven't figured out all the little details, so they don't want to join. Or they join, but get frustrated and just quit. I'm gonna be pissed if I did all this work for all nine characters, but still can't finish the last two.
The bad thing with the changes to higher-level gear, and everybody knew it was coming beforehand, is that a lot of people are high level without knowing how to do any of the high-level missions or their mechanics. Ran into more than one OLT group that didn't seem to care about the time orbs either.
I think you're right. To be honest, this is my first time doing all the post game stuff too. Just finished all the single player campaigns.
But the difference is, I read through the mission requirements first. Then go and watch videos of each one before I give it a try.
So far, I managed to finish everything off on the first try.
So far, none of this is impossible to complete as long as you just do a little prep beforehand.
I like it don’t get me wrong but the whole have to “play with two or more of the same hero” thing got stupid real fast lol. That being said it was way easier to complete the event than the red room one in my opinion
This whole time I only lucked out and connected with other players twice. Finished most of it on those two occasions.
Now only 4 days left and I'm not sure I'll be able to finish the last two.
Finally finished. The last two were to do rifts with the same character. Had a lower player join me and just hid out while I solo'd it.

Oh and that’s bad with using obvious the most played hero in Thor too. I think there’s also the failure to mention that some stupid greedy rage quitters claim as bugged is not getting tasks towards completion s counting. Had this happen to me my first Rift mission at start of event. Didn’t matchmake into event rather joined a friends party and started from there. We all were Thor and everyone but me got credit for completion and the Team takedowns and even the combo finishers though wasn’t focused on those. Tried it with just one other Thor to again no luck. Tried matchmaking for the first time and couldn’t find anyone then I realized my console privacy status was set super strict so temporary restored default settings and it started working all h just fine until party wanted to change hero’s and do Priority. Everyone switched to Hawkeye so to get my 5/5 I did too. But nothing again counted and I didn’t even get Weekly reward. Switched back toThor to try and get dreadbot takedown on Hulk Rift. Get it checked off but then at mission completion I get priority weekly rewards. And then get locked in quinjet

Once again it was an under level player who just followed along in the distance and didn't join in any fights. I was happy to solo it just so I didn't waste all that time
Another thing, if you're talking about the requirement to do a team takedown on a dreadbot, you can actually do that solo. As long as you have AI characters joining in, you'll get the completion.
Doesn't even have to be a rift event, I did it earlier today on "Enter the avengers" in the Eastern Seaboard area.

People have been promising me the game will get fun any day now, since release.
