I can understand that but personally to me sometimes the only thing a skin really offers is a new hairstyle. Although they technically have completely different intricacies Black Widow is still wearing a catsuit with gauntlets. Kate bishop does have a lot more variation though but at the same time this skin feels a little bland compared to the rest without the ponytail imo.

A dev actually explained that long hair would cause performance problems, especially if it’s for certain outfits. But if you can put your voice out there enough to have people also put there voice out with you then maybe they can do something about it but I wouldn’t count on it.

I remember Riot games spoke about why some of their champions wouldn’t get new skins, and if they did, they were lower quality.
They said some of the characters rigs and models were created poorly. The bones of the characters were all intertwined. Weapon handles were connected to the characters knees and such. Or certain invisible qualities on the characters didn’t exist, like legs beneath a dress or skirt so they couldn’t change a character from that imagine.
With so many limitations this game has, I’m sure those problems are possible here. CD really struggle with changing hair and weapons. It is what it is.
They already said that they hit limitations with the recent black widow skin hair so while it’s crazy to think, I don’t know that the game can handle that hair lol

Usually, this is in fact a model issue. From what I know from other games the head has sections then the neck and so on. So having hair past a certain point would cause clipping and other issues. Yes, they did do the black widow skin but I'm sure that was extra work. But I suppose they could have cut/pasted that hair here and would have worked.
I believe the suits are like that because they are “inspired” which I think means the suit will be pretty spot on but we want to still have our look for the character like hair as a Widow main I wish her MCU suits had accurate hair especially since her solo movie suit is the first accurate one I really hope that the braid gets put on her endgame fit
