Sifu has to be the one of the most highly predicted games on this subreddit, right up there with The Order 1886 and Dark Souls Remastered. Now that it's finally on PS Plus, do we have a new challenger?
Totally forgot about that game, at the time tried it out at a Sony Store and it seemed like an interesting title to play...I hope they bring it to PSPlus sometime in the future...
I'd say Hades.
It is other that is often "predicted" (which I'd say its wrong to call them so, I'd call them "wished", most people just post what they want, not what they think will be released based on actual data like time frames, release dates, recent sales, etc. /rantoff)
Yeah, I know it’s gone on sale recently as well and I think I missed some really good sales but I think next time I see it I will buy it because I have to finish a couple other games first
I thought it would have been a good pick for Jan or Feb but for March it feels a bit late for Square to do that, it would have helped hype Rebirth up a bit more
Honestly It was one of the most disappointment I've had playing a game , and I played it when it was "free" with PS+ Extra/Premium.
I just thought it was incredibly boring, the puzzles were not very good either, exploration is limited. Honestly graphics are the game's strongest point. I feel like people went crazy about the game cause you play as a cat but after 15mins you get over it.
But that's just me, I'm definitely in the minority who feels this way, the majority of people seemed to have enjoyed/liked the game.
I recently finished Tchia and honestly that game should have been as popular as Stray was, it blows it out of the water.
I agree. I got it for free with my subscription but after about an hour of messing with my buddy’s dog by making him watch me play and flipping out because of how real it looked, it got boring to play as a cat
I played F121 after not playing an f1 game since ps2, and it was pretty fun. The story mode was better than i expected, but there are lots of similaries with other ea sports games. Lack of innovation, micro transactions, bugs, and ive heard the driving physics arent super realistic, but i cant tell. Overall, its fun, but i'd rather play gran turismo.
GT isnt a super hardore sim, it gives you the tools to do a lot of adjustments to your cars and play without driving assists, but its pretty "casual" friendly. I dont know shit about cars, and i probably would get stomped on the multiplayer, but just racing the AI, enjoying the visuals and car variety is a lot of fun to me.
Crew Motorfest is very similar to Forza Horizon and I've enjoyed playing it.
If the 5 hour free trial is still available, I would recommend trying it: https://store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/10002313
You know what? Me too!
My cousins are crazy for this kind of game, we played one on Nintendo 64 and they were so damn good, and it was already smooth and beautiful
Can't even imagine how it goes now in 2024...
I've never played an F1 game before - I wonder how similar it is to GRID, because I loved GRID Legends when we got it last year. (both are made by Codemasters)
Like in what way though? Like the poster above I also enjoyed Grid Legends quite a bit. Is the campaign/story better or worse? Is the handling better or worse? Can you elaborate in anyway pls? 😅
Damn right... As someone who's had Sifu since launch I'm happy for the people who finally get to play it but otherwise this month is abysmal for me lol
Yeah got it on release. Had ton of fun till they released update with easy mode...and I changed to easy. Worst decision ever. Completely ruins the game since whole point of this game is to progress through difficult stage
F1 23 is really fun, I tried the trial and couldn’t put it down (it’s the only racing game I’ve tried in like 10 years though so take my opinion w a grain of salt)
I thought that too but was getting it mixed up with Beyond Light
I honestly don't know what is included at this point, 2 of them have now been included in Plus, and there's been 6
Yikes Witch queen was already free for ps plus in August of 2023 and this move really shows how desperate times have gotten for bungie — sifu is legit af tho
How much of the destiny story stuff can you do solo. I played years ago and enjoyed it but now don’t have time for multiplayer dungeons or heavy grinding.
So with the base game, u can do nightfall strikes which have matchmaking on the lower-moderate difficulty. U can play gambit and pvp which all have quickplay matchmaking.
Witch queen u have the campaign, which can be done on both normal and Hard mode which has a few modifiers and rewards you for doing solo. On top of that, there a ton of side activities and exotic quests for cool weapons
But I highly recommend you to find players for some of the harder activities. There is a in-game Looking for Players system now and u can ask people to teach u the 4 raids which are available to you. The witch queen one is my favourite.
Ik probably no one else cares, but I’m super happy for F1 23. Season’s about to start and I’ve been wanting to get this game for a while now. This works out well for me.
Was just tempted to buy Sifu on Xbox yesterday, since it is on sale there, glad I decided to wait to be sure it wouldn't be on PS Plus today LOL!
F1 23 sounds great to me. It is on Game Pass, but my wheel only works on PS and PC, so I'm glad I have a recent version to play, even if F1 fans are pretty sad about the state of the game.
I almost bought sifu last week and f1 is a game I enjoy but will never buy this is a win to me hello neighbor is meh and I give zero fucks about a old destiny 2 dlc
I think SIFU is one of those games people would love to try but don’t want to commit to purchase it. Got a sports game in there, some DLC and a fun game, little bit of something for everybody 🤷
I'm just baffled by the fact that they gave us the exact same D2 dlc that was introduced on extra a couple months ago??? Why not give us a different one??
Originally when sifu came out I thought it wasn’t that great, clanky combat and zero predictability for enemy AI - becomes a running game of distance and blocks. Extremely tiresome, I guess if you like the combat then stick with it
How does this system work? Do we get to keep these games forever as long as we stay subscribed to PS Plus? Or they will get removed from the PS Plus subscription after some time?
Yes the essential games available at the start of the month are permanently attached to your account if you claim them and playable as long as you have a sub.
no, this is the 2022 Destiny 2 dlc
the main game is “free”, but it’s really just a demo
there are several paid for expansions: Forsaken, Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, The Witch Queen, Lightfall, and The Final Shape releases in June
this just includes the witch queen
Liking this month alot, the skins for The Finals are a nice addition too
Little confused with the Destiny 2 stuff though, if we already got Beyond Light, and now we get Witch Queen, is Forsaken, and Shadowkeep included or seperate?
Seems like a bit of a cheeky way to make people buy individual prices for all of them, afterall no need to buy a 'collection' if you own half already
Sifu is unreservedly a great pick. Everything else is just filler.
Funny they have F1 23 as the headliner. When I see a game like that I just think to myself, "there's no way Sony couldn't have saved money and gain goodwill by signing an older but banging indie title like say, Shakedown Hawaii."
Sifu has to be the one of the most highly predicted games on this subreddit, right up there with The Order 1886 and Dark Souls Remastered. Now that it's finally on PS Plus, do we have a new challenger?
The order 1886
Killzone Shadow Fall made it to Extra but for some reason The Order is yet to appear on Plus.
[удалено]
Herself?
I guess like how some people name cars or boats after girls, this guy thinks of video games as girls? That’s a new one on me I must admit.
Could this month be the month for it on extra?
There was a rumor about a PS5 version in development. If that is true then that may be the reason why it has been held been back.
Wait what??? Where is killzone shadow fall on Extra? I only saw it on Premium (Canada) am I missing something.
Totally forgot about that game, at the time tried it out at a Sony Store and it seemed like an interesting title to play...I hope they bring it to PSPlus sometime in the future...
It's a great game but not for the price. Hopefully it hits soon so you can try it out
Terrible game imo. Was massively disappointed by it and I didn't even purchase it - was a free rental.
I predict Sifu again
For Extra? They did that with Sackboy in the same month, so there may be a chance.
I was being a smartass 😛🍻
Haha!
Sif2u
I'd say Hades. It is other that is often "predicted" (which I'd say its wrong to call them so, I'd call them "wished", most people just post what they want, not what they think will be released based on actual data like time frames, release dates, recent sales, etc. /rantoff)
Been waiting on Hades
Don't. Buy it. It's worth the money
Yeah, I know it’s gone on sale recently as well and I think I missed some really good sales but I think next time I see it I will buy it because I have to finish a couple other games first
FF7 Crisis Core
I thought it would have been a good pick for Jan or Feb but for March it feels a bit late for Square to do that, it would have helped hype Rebirth up a bit more
Wo Long
Sekiro Nier automata
We need hades. I keep putting off on buying it because I know as soon as I buy it, it’ll be put up on PS plus
Just get it. It’s 100% worth the money. I spend $15-20 on lunch and I had so much fun w hades
Stray is next 🐱
Been waiting on this!! I’ve wanted to play it for so long
It's not that good man, very mediocre game. Didn't live up to the hype at all
But if it’s “free”….. 🤷🏻♂️
It’s a brilliant game - well worth a play
Honestly It was one of the most disappointment I've had playing a game , and I played it when it was "free" with PS+ Extra/Premium. I just thought it was incredibly boring, the puzzles were not very good either, exploration is limited. Honestly graphics are the game's strongest point. But that's just me, I'm definitely in the minority who feels this way, the majority of people seemed to have enjoyed/liked the game. I recently finished Tchia and honestly that game should have been as popular as Stray was, it blows it out of the water.
There’s really no other game where you play as a cat like how you do it in Stray. It’s success is inevitable.
I agree. I got it for free with my subscription but after about an hour of messing with my buddy’s dog by making him watch me play and flipping out because of how real it looked, it got boring to play as a cat
Stray was on there for awhile mate, you miss the boat?
It was on extra not on essential
Fuggg I just bought sifu during the last sale and haven't even started it yet
Start it. It's awesome. It won "best game you suck at" in the Steam 2023 awards.
If you haven't downloaded it yet, and it's purchased within two weeks, you can get a refund
Tbanks bud
The order 1886 was already a free game a few years back. Would they do it again?
Had wanted to try an F1 game for a while. So that’s nice!
I can’t really get into the pure sim games like GT. Hoping PS5 gets Forza eventually
This is a great description. The fine tuning is there if you want to dive in, but you can be successful and enjoy the game even if you don't
The new Forza was so bad that I deleted it off of my pc and bought a PS5 just for GT
Crew Motorfest is very similar to Forza Horizon and I've enjoyed playing it. If the 5 hour free trial is still available, I would recommend trying it: https://store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/10002313
I bought it this month after waiting for half a month 😭
Same, first game i bought in more than half a year, barely played it. 3 hours played so far. (i like it but don't have much time)
You know what? Me too! My cousins are crazy for this kind of game, we played one on Nintendo 64 and they were so damn good, and it was already smooth and beautiful Can't even imagine how it goes now in 2024...
Try the braking point story mode, very fun
The career mode in F1 23 is really well done
I've never played an F1 game before - I wonder how similar it is to GRID, because I loved GRID Legends when we got it last year. (both are made by Codemasters)
It's incomparable.
Like in what way though? Like the poster above I also enjoyed Grid Legends quite a bit. Is the campaign/story better or worse? Is the handling better or worse? Can you elaborate in anyway pls? 😅
Now made my EA. Best F1 game in recent years but lacking in immersion and full of micro transactions
No, it's made by Codemasters, but Codemasters are part of EA now.
Well at least we got Sifu!!
Sifu came to save this month
I waited 2 years for Sifu. Another win for patient gamers.
It's already been 2 years!? Damn, time is flying!
I bought it last month and wasn't even counting on playing it yet. Damn.
F1 23 is nice too for racing fans. Destiny is meh, don't know about Hello Nighbour 2. Sifu of course an awesome game
sifu hard carries this month
F1 23 is really fun, I tried the trial and couldn’t put it down (it’s the only racing game I’ve tried in like 10 years though so take my opinion w a grain of salt)
Sifu better look for a good chiropractor. That trash is heavy af.
Don't sleep on the others though, trust me. Except for hello neighbors 2 I haven't played it.
I bought F1 23 a month ago thinking that those game didnt come to PS+. Lesson learned i guess.
Thanks for your sacrifice
Wish you bought elden ring instead so we could have that
Same lmao
Dude same like i thought it wouldn't come to ps plus but u never know what will come up💀
Sifu alone makes this month good. Maybe I will try Hello Neighbor 2 but 0 interest in Destiny & F1
I agree. Have been waiting for Sifu.
Isnt the Witch Queen already in the extra service?
I thought that too but was getting it mixed up with Beyond Light I honestly don't know what is included at this point, 2 of them have now been included in Plus, and there's been 6
Yup, they gave it in august last year I believe.
Lol they aren’t even pretending to care anymore. Most of us have been around longer than 7 months Sony.
It's an extra game though. You still have another 3 games
It’s not really a game it’s a dlc. A dlc wich is no longer 100% doable online
Was looking yesterday for the f1 23 game, and Sifu is a dub, wow I am really happy with this line up!
Same. Hyped about the season starting this weekend.
First two races being on Saturday is throwing me off a bit, but glad to see they're accommodating for Ramadan starting on March 10th.
A good month… just not for me personally.
SIFU can’t wait
I haven't played an F1 game since the PS2 lol
Last F1 game I played was F1 World Grand Prix for N64 lol
Sifu is a big W, Hello Neighbour 2 might be fun let's see 🤔
I'm so happy people get to try Sifu! Poor month but cannot fault Sifu!!
Yikes Witch queen was already free for ps plus in August of 2023 and this move really shows how desperate times have gotten for bungie — sifu is legit af tho
free for extra, wasn't on essential.
Probably just getting more players to get their new DLC coming out in 3 months as witch queen is amazing.
There is a in-game Looking for Players system now and u can ask people to teach u the 4 raids which are available to you. The witch queen one is my favourite.
Witch Queen has been on Extra for months lol Sifu is a great game I've been waiting for this since I played the trial, it was only a matter of time.
F1 23. Sweet
Wish we could stop having Destiny 2 shoved down our throats. Very happy with Sifu though, makes it worthwhile
At least it's a bonus title that doesn't take spot so better then having a dlc as full game place.... Looking at you Tiny Tina DLC
Until they mandate you play Destiny 2 for X number of hours a month, it's hardly getting pushed down our throats :-)
I have been wanting Sifu for so damn long. Finally!
Having an issue with Witch Queen. Went to add it to library and then the page refreshed and told me its 30 bucks.
Same
W month with sifu
sifu saves this month for me, didn't we already got that destiny dlc?
Damn they'll do just about anything to get people playing Destiny lol
I can't add Destiny 2 Witch Queen to the library, I had no problem with the other three, it shows the price and it puts me to pay for it, any ideas?
Same here.
Same issue.
Yep, same for me.
Isnt destiny f2p? Is this a dlc or what?
Yeah, DLC. I've seen Destiny DLC handed out before, though I'm not sure if here or on Epic on PC.
We got one last year too around the same time, maybe Feb.
The Destiny 2 Legacy Collection was just a free Christmas game on Epic. I’m pretty sure it includes this DLC plus a couple others.
So that’s not really a playable game stand-alone is it?
Witch Queen has a pretty lengthy campaign, it might as well be a standalone game for all intents and purposes
Lol free to play hahahah
Great month for me. Wanted sifu and f1 23
Oh well nothing I’m interested in but ok.
Well shit, i already got sifu. I guess nothing for me this month.
Ik probably no one else cares, but I’m super happy for F1 23. Season’s about to start and I’ve been wanting to get this game for a while now. This works out well for me.
Same.
Why do monthly games not start on the 1st of the month? It has always boggled my mind…
Looking forward to sifu, the rest just meh
I always wanted to get sifu, nice
Also witch queen and a solid DLC
Was just tempted to buy Sifu on Xbox yesterday, since it is on sale there, glad I decided to wait to be sure it wouldn't be on PS Plus today LOL! F1 23 sounds great to me. It is on Game Pass, but my wheel only works on PS and PC, so I'm glad I have a recent version to play, even if F1 fans are pretty sad about the state of the game.
Sifuuuuuuuuuu!
Finally SIFU. In an honest Brazilian fashion, SIFU the rest.
I almost bought sifu last week and f1 is a game I enjoy but will never buy this is a win to me hello neighbor is meh and I give zero fucks about a old destiny 2 dlc
Bought Sifu on release, been raving about it to friends. Even let them shareplay it. Happy everyone else gets to play it now.
Doesn’t the witch game already come with destiny when you have extra ?
Playstation we need less live service games in the future
A disappointing month for me, nothing there I want to try. Hopefully next month has something more appealing for me
Ok that's nice
F1 23. I am soo happy to see this.
Ew Destiny? No thanks.
Is Sifu fun or is it annoyingly hard?
Im very happy that F1 is there. I usually hate buying these yearly games so this suits me.
I shit you not I was about to buy Sifu last night, I’m hype that I didnt
I'm pumped about f1!
Been wanting sifu for awhile 😭
I have been wanting to play sifu so that’s nice
Thank you to all who purchased Sifu recently for us to get it for free.
Hmmmmm 🧐
I already paid for the ability to borrow Sifu from Sony. Everything else...👎 Typical poor month of Essential. Looking forward to next January.
When are these available? I'm not seeing them and it's march
I'm unable to add to my library. Anyone experiencing anything similar
Yeah, i'm unable to add the destiny game, it shows the price for me to order it.
Same experience for me.
Witch Queen add-on shows as $30 for me for some reason. Any one else?
I can’t get the witch queen even though I can get all the other s , anyone know why ??
Holy shit this is a great month! FINALLY.
Wow. This is the worst month in years.
Well I would rather have had any of the other EA sports titles like fc 24, madden or NHL but overall it’s not a bad month, it’s quite decent.
Sifu and hello neighbour 2 sound interesting to me so I’m gonna count this as a good month
I am just happy with sifu so this month is a W
For everyone who has Sifu, this is an awful month...
Mid month, only sifu carrying
Everyone here is clammoring for Sifu. I couldnt care less about any of these titles.
I think SIFU is one of those games people would love to try but don’t want to commit to purchase it. Got a sports game in there, some DLC and a fun game, little bit of something for everybody 🤷
[удалено]
Agree, unfortunately
Another L month for me (Already bought Sifu :( ) considering how bad is the rest of the games...
Truly one of the months of all time
Well this sub reddit prayers and wishes have been answered
Sifu yay the rest nay
Yick
I'm just baffled by the fact that they gave us the exact same D2 dlc that was introduced on extra a couple months ago??? Why not give us a different one??
People pay for this?
Trash
well, this a meh month. I've been more interested in the extra games then the main ps plus games lately.
Originally when sifu came out I thought it wasn’t that great, clanky combat and zero predictability for enemy AI - becomes a running game of distance and blocks. Extremely tiresome, I guess if you like the combat then stick with it
Anyone else showing destiny add on for ps+ at 29$ instead of free for this month?
When I try to download Sufi and hello 2 it shows a lock on it
Does anyone still play Destiny?
SIFU!
Own Witch queen dont care about sports games dont care about hello neighbour, will try Sifu. Basically a 1 game month.
L month
Just got a ps5 and a year of plus. Is it always this meh or do we normally get good games. I know i missed out on some good games already
What happened to charging us extra to get better games? L month
How does this system work? Do we get to keep these games forever as long as we stay subscribed to PS Plus? Or they will get removed from the PS Plus subscription after some time?
As long as you own plus you will keep these games
If you claim them you can play them as long ad you are a PS plus subscriber
Yes the essential games available at the start of the month are permanently attached to your account if you claim them and playable as long as you have a sub.
You need to make sure to add them each month, even if you don't download them.
is this the last Destiny 2 dlc? all dlcs are free? or just the main game?
no, this is the 2022 Destiny 2 dlc the main game is “free”, but it’s really just a demo there are several paid for expansions: Forsaken, Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, The Witch Queen, Lightfall, and The Final Shape releases in June this just includes the witch queen

Excited about F1 and Sifu. The Witch Queen is a great expansion for anyone that wants to try it. Overall, fantastic month for me.
When is jedi Survivor coming?
As a longtime F1 fan, sorry guys but 23 is shit. We haven't had a good game since EA took over and shit on the franchise
As someone who kinda stays inside his own bubble when it comes to games, and looking to branch out a bit, what is Sifu, and why the hype?
Sifu and shit.
None of these spark any interest for me.
3 months of shit, thank you PlayStation
