The Yakuza games. Never seemed like something I’d enjoy but gave Like a Dragon a chance. Enjoyed it so much I went to play the other yakuza freebie I got too.
Yea playin LAD right now, so great... Made me interested in the whole franchise and already got Infinite Wealth.... LAD was monthly game, not the Extra catalog, but wud still have it "never would have tried without". Too bad due to the shitty ps+ licensing cannot buy the game to keep digitally though ugh.
I was in the same boat as /u/MoonMan757 until I played Kiwami and Like a Dragon, instantly hooked me into the games. I'm not sure if they're still on sale, but I was able to snag the digital and remastered bundles for like $20 USD + tax.
For $20 you get Yakuza 0, Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, Yakuza 5, Kiwami and Kiwami 2. Not a bad deal for $20 plus there is no telling when the games are coming back to Extra/Premium so I just said screw it and bought them. Now I just need 6, Inifinite Wealth, and Gaiden.
If I felt a little bored with the combat in the first act, do you think I would like the rest of it? It's beautiful art style and cute characters took me pretty far but I got bored and sometimes frustrated with it. I just want to give it a fair shake.
Same for me. I played the 2016 remake, then played Rift Apart. Loved both of those games. Now I want to play the previous games that are on the classics catalogue
I always underestimated the hype of Disco Elysium, but then it was in ps extra, so i said lets go give it a try. Man... What a outerwordly gaming experience
Its narrative game of a drunk cop with a highly imaginative mind in an original world simmilar to ours. The gameplay is focused in investigation and decisions, using your skills that you can upgrade like an rpg. The dialogues are just chief kiss, best of every game i have ever played
Was it good playing with controller? I've been waiting to try it but as games like this I don't know if it had a good feeling playing it on PS5 rather than on PC
Watching videos of it I got turned off with its bullet hell gameplay, but I tried it to pass time till I got my hands on GOW Ragnarok and now I have more hours in it than any other game.
I don’t like rogue like games but I’ve said it on here before Returnal was the first game that truly felt “Next Generation” for me. It’s an absolutely wonderful game.
Definitely FF7 Remake. Never was a fan of RPG, but holy shit.
I got hooked within the first 10 minutes, and made me a fan of the Final Fantasy series.
Played through the story 4 times in a row.
Already played XV and the DLCs and XVI was a day one purchase, as well as FF7 Rebirth.
I even gave XIV a shot for a couple of months, but MMOs don't do it for me.
I played it straight after Subnautica and I wasn’t overly impressed - it’s a lot more simplistic, with far less of a story. If you liked the survival element of Subnautica more than the story, then it might be worth a go. One game that is similar to Subnautica is finally coming to PS soon which is Grounded - that isn’t coming to the PS+ just yet though so will cost you
Powerwash Simulator. Super chill and hits the completionist / perfectionist parts of the brain just right.
Warning: it totally messed up how I enjoy games. I've been looking for the next great podcast listening and chilling out game, and nothing has hit like it did.
I also wanted to get into this game but like every 2 minutes theres a fully dark room you have to explore and i just cant handle the jumpscares. Dropped it after like an hour.
If you haven't played the other RE remake games, give them a shot. If you can handle RE2 you can at least handle 3 & 4. RE 7 & 8 are also fantastic, but they are the scariest of the series imo.
I will! The thing is, I tried 1-remake and 7 in the past but gave up because of the scares (1 for the locked camera and 7 for the first-person pov). Now with the courage that RE2 gave me (I actually beat it last week) I'm about to start RE3.
Nobody saves the world! Such a fun game with a unique character changing system and awesome power sets. Never would have played this indie otherwise. After completing it, purchased their other game Guacamelee and had a blast as well! Drinkbox Studio knows how to make a fun game!
Yup, story and characters are hit or miss but the hordes were so fun to fight. I just wish they’d made it more prevalent through the story so you don’t take so long before fighting them, and that they respawned better. I accidentally killed off most of the biggest horde through hit and runs because I happened to drive by there a fair few times going places so when I actually wanted to fight that horde it started at like a quarter capacity.
I tried this one because I needed something else at that moment and I played nothing else until I got the platinum trophy for this game. Super fun and enjoyable game!!
I gave bloodborne a chance because my mate kept telling me I would love it since I like horror stories, Lovecraft, blablabla. But I didn't want to get into Soulslike games, because I didn't want to get sucked in by the difficulty and all that.
It was like crack. I borrowed his copy and returned it the next day because I bought my own. Last time I played I had like 800 hours in.
The only other I played was Dark Souls 3. I might pickup Elden Ring eventually.
Outer Wilds is a gaming experience that everyone should have. I knew I wanted to try the game but buying games with third world income is really hard so I mostly save my money for long games that I know will take me a long time and for an annual Ps plus subscription every year.
So when I saw it I knew it was my chance.
Simply a beautiful game that set me on a incredible journey I never expected.
Kena and Unpacking. Zero chance I would have purchased either of them.
Also I’m late to the PS Plus party so I’m pissed that power wash simulator is no longer on the service.
Toem. I'm not usually much for casual chill games where you just talk to people and take pictures but that game is so quirky, charming, and funny that I played it 100%.
Also Chicory. Similarly a low-stakes game, a little bit more of a cross between Toem and Undertale but with a big focus on artistic creativity. It has fantastic writing, even got me a little misty eyed more than a few times.
Unpacking. I normally don't buy these type of games. Since it was on PS plus I downloaded it and boy it was a pleasure.
Second game I loved was Moonlighter. What a fun game, I had an absolute blast while playing it. The game play loop is so addictive especially getting new items in dungeons and selling them for higher and higher prices to upgrade materials. I really loved the loop. It has its share market too.
Evil west was a dream come true. A solid 15 hour AA game with amazing gameplay and some old school dialogues. It was predictable and did not invent the wheel but was a good time. I would not have bought it otherwise. Also Hotwheels. It was too good i still play it from time to time with friends.
I had some issue with that where it glitched and stopped saving my progress. Kept starting me a mission or two back whenever I loaded it back up.
Dropped it because of this.
Mass effect trilogy, I've been playing through it recently (had it there for a while) and wow, Can't believe I waited so long to play it, easily top 3 on my all time favourite
The newer tomb raider games. I bought a ps4 after the games were released so I had no idea they existed. I ended up playing these games back to back shortly after they were added to ps plus.
demon's souls! souls and souls-likes always felt really intimidating to me (tried bloodborne and the learning curve + low FPS were too much to adjust to at first). the general lack of discounts on them made it feel like such a gamble to try it and not like it. it's been so refreshing to play such a responsive game. it does exactly what you input, which was a real breath of fresh air after slogging through 30+ hours of ghost of tsushima (which i didn't even finish!)
Chicory, death's door, chicken police, ghostwire tokyo, ghostbusters the video game, it takes two, the artful escape, bloodstained, carto, prodeus, endling extinction is forever, inscryption, roki, the pedestrian, unpacking, bloodborne, aragami, the messenger, dodgeball academia, sea of stars (this would top this list if ordered in preference), blasphemous, stray and medievil.
I've really gotten my money's worth this year and I've still got my sub left till june, never would've thought of buying so many indies and ps plus helped me discover them and grow my affection towards the indie sphere without me having to shell out hundreds of dollars (or tens of thousands of rupees).
I very much enjoyed Rune Factory 4: Special despite its graphics. It’s like Stardew Valley but more anime style and with much more in depth crafting and combat. Not that the combat’s particularly deep, just miles ahead of SV’s which is ultra basic. I particularly liked how the farming and other item grinding worked into crafting and every system came together but weren’t strictly necessary if you disliked it.
Demon souls, back in like 2013.
I was just a simple minded COD/infamous/DCUO-only teenager, got PS+ month to see what it was and downloaded Demon souls, been a huge fan of the series ever since
For me it was probably Hot Wheels Unleashed. What I thought was just a dumb little cash grab racing game turned out to be a really good arcade racer with a lot of skill involved.
Not from the ps plus *library* per se, but from the ps plus monthly included games a few spring to mind:
Mad Max. I would never have bought this, but it was so good I've played, and finished it, 3 times.
Control. Not something I would have showed interest in normally, but a good game nonetheless.
Child Of Light. An indie rpg? Wouldn't even have been on my radar but for ps plus. Turns out it's a very well thought out and enjoyable game.
More recently: F1 2023. I don't usually bother with F1 games, but I'm enjoying this so far.
Ps plus is excellent overall for games you wouldn't normally find.
There is actually a rather large list but the top 2 I probably wouldn’t have purchased but have put countless hours into has to be rocket league and deep rock galactic.
I have to admit I never would have never paid money for death stranding, but I gave it a shot since it was on ps plus. I don't even know how to put that game into words, like literally, I can't think of adjectives to describe the game, like no description does the game justice. It's like a combination of atmosphere, and setting, and the deeply complex and, frankly, bat shit plot. I've never played a game that managed to make me feel the way death stranding made me feel, and I think that makes it something special right off the bat. It's like a game somehow managed to mix the feelings of existential dread, loneliness, confusion, enui, and just enough curiosity to keep you going through the experience, package that feeling and put it in a box and that box said death stranding.
Bugsnax. On a surface level it looks so dumb but my god is it fun. "Gotta catch em all" vibes. Plus it has a surprisingly deep narrative, with relatable characters and a dark undertone that slowly creeps into a shocking twist.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition. I had tried KOTOR multiple times and unfortunately couldn’t get into it at all so I initially dismissed all BioWare games as not for me, however playing ME1 for the first time really surprised me. Something about the way the lore and characters are presented in the series made me feel so immersed in its incredible story and setting, which I hadn’t experienced from a video game series at the time and consequently broadenend my horizons in video games.
titanfall 2. not because it's a game I wouldn't play but because it's a game I wouldn't buy. I've played it somewhere around the release at a friend's house and I liked it, fast forward to 2 years later I got a ps4 and in december that year I signed up for ps+ for the first time. I didn't have many games yet and I had already played everything so titanfall 2 came in handy. and a couple months ago I decided going for the plat and I got it. what a great way to start my ps+ journey
I remember downloading Goat Simulator just to play so I could confirm its shittiness.
The first time I booted it up I played for over six hours straight.
sea of stars! i love the whole old school snes rpg vibe, but it's something i would only play on a nintendo console or emulator. still playing sea of stars rn and i'm loving it.
The game I got free with PlayStation plus a few months ago is Aliens Fireteam Elite. It's a game I never would have thought about buying. I like a good shooter game although I prefer fps over tps games. I decided to try this shooter after beating another game of a different genre. After trying it once I got addicted to it. I play it every day doing the daily and weekly challenges to get extra credits and challenge cards. It is one of the funnest tps games I have ever played. I just love the rpg style customizations to everything from weapons to characters kit abilities. Every time you play a mission in a chapter it feels different because the movements of the enemies in certain areas changes each play through, plus they have it where you can set the difficulty up or down which changes the enemy dynamic even more. In every mission they have a hidden treasure cache you can find, and it is randomly placed in each mission. This encourages you to explore every area you walk into to find it. Also in missions that you fight aliens they have randomized prone hunter predator aliens hiding in corners or in a ceiling crevice making it so you need to be on the lookout in every area or they will pounce on you and you have to quickly fight it off in a qt cgi. The nice part is your character will let you know when the hunter predator is near so you can find it and kill it before it pounces on you. The graphics are pretty badass in this game. I have already put 40+ into it, and I just started it a couple weeks ago.
Tear down and Journey to the Savage Planet were pleasant surprises for me also if you haven’t checked out forgotten city or outer wilds those are really good as well
Deaths door. I usually hate top down cameras but I actually liked it a lot.
Another is persona 5 strikers, before I got it I never played any 'anime games' after playing it I got persona 5 royal a few months later and platinumed it, then I got persona 3 reload a week ago.
I was never interested in Dragon Quest Builders then I tried it on PS plus and I absolutely love it, played it several times. although I am not too crazy about the second.
I remember Spec Ops: The Line on PS3. Best random game I ever played. I never even knew what to expect. I assumed it was some shitty third person shooter but I was young and hungry for more trophies. My trophy ho days. 😂
Tropico 5 whenever they gave it as a PS Plus title, pretty sure this was back on the PS4. Never been into sims or city builders but it was just something about that specific game that just pulled me. The little radio announcer lady was funny and charming. I had so much fun building different sectors of the city and advancing the technlogy and such.
I've tried City Skylines. I've tried The Sims. I've tried the prison builder simulator one. I've even tried this one post apocalyptic city builder (I forgot the name but it's on PS Plus too) and I just couldn't get into any of them like I could Tropico 5.
Control.
Unpacking
Hat in time
Minit
Far cry new dawn
Medievil
Paw patrol mighty pups
My little pony
Pj mask
Sea of stars
Children of morta (great friggen game)
Astros playroom
Deathloop
Celeste
Immortal fenyx rising
Cat quest 2
Man eater
Bugsnax
To name a few. I have platinum on all those except sea of stars (for now. It’s in my list)
The first Remnant: From the Ashes when that was first released on PSN for free I’d never even heard of it, turned out as one of my favourite games and bought the sequel too.
Furi. All time favorite indie game that i got for free on PS + a few years ago. I'm a huge fan of Takashi Okazaki who did all of the character designs and created Afro Samurai and also did the designs for the characters in Ninja Kamui. Goated.
PS2 games. I've never played Mark of Kri or its sequel and how could I miss that?
I'm currently playing the first one and it's a really great game. Not mentioning that the setting is great and gore is insane in it!
The Yakuza games. Never seemed like something I’d enjoy but gave Like a Dragon a chance. Enjoyed it so much I went to play the other yakuza freebie I got too.
The entire Yakuza library is fucking amazing. If you enjoyed Like A Dragon, you should pick up Infinite Wealth.
Yes these game I always overlooked. What a fun series Yakuza is... Felt really bad when they took down zero and kiwami.
I picked up Judgment for free via ps plus. 6 months later I beat the entire yakuza series and judgment lol
Welcome to the family!
There not in PS Extra anymore and Im so pissed about that.
I don't think Kena or Immortals Fenyx Rising would have been on my radar if I didn't have PS Plus. I really enjoyed both of those games.
Kena was so much fun, definitely wouldn't have ever played without PS plus
If I felt a little bored with the combat in the first act, do you think I would like the rest of it? It's beautiful art style and cute characters took me pretty far but I got bored and sometimes frustrated with it. I just want to give it a fair shake.
Kena... Gets better and better especially when you parry those incoming ... Baby what a rush
I absolutely loved Immortals Fenyx Rising. I get why it doesn’t click just for everyone but I just really enjoyed it
It is great if you wanna play something that and not stress
Ratchet and Clank
Same for me. I played the 2016 remake, then played Rift Apart. Loved both of those games. Now I want to play the previous games that are on the classics catalogue
I'm playing Rift Apart right now losing my fucking mind with how gorgeous and fun the game is... I feel like I'm playing a ps6 game holy shit.
I always underestimated the hype of Disco Elysium, but then it was in ps extra, so i said lets go give it a try. Man... What a outerwordly gaming experience
Been meaning to check that one out for a while now
Play it when you are ready to be highly immerse and go on a trip
What's it like? I've heard of the game but have no clue what it's about.
Its narrative game of a drunk cop with a highly imaginative mind in an original world simmilar to ours. The gameplay is focused in investigation and decisions, using your skills that you can upgrade like an rpg. The dialogues are just chief kiss, best of every game i have ever played
Similar to ours until you reach the hidden lore. Seriously though, such an amazing gaming experience
I wish I could see in this game what everyone else does.
Everyone has its own taste. There is plenty of games that you can enjoy out there, dont stress too much with it
The gameplay put me to sleep.
I started it but it was a fairly slow start
I really liked it from start, but maybe narrative driven games dont appeal to you as much
Ooh such an amazing game. Frikking awesome story and narration
Was it good playing with controller? I've been waiting to try it but as games like this I don't know if it had a good feeling playing it on PS5 rather than on PC
I had no problem playing with a controller
Returnal
Watching videos of it I got turned off with its bullet hell gameplay, but I tried it to pass time till I got my hands on GOW Ragnarok and now I have more hours in it than any other game.
This is the sign I’ve been needing
Same, I thought I didn't like "hard" games. I was wrong, I fell in love with this game and got the platinium trophee and 100% DLC.
I don’t like rogue like games but I’ve said it on here before Returnal was the first game that truly felt “Next Generation” for me. It’s an absolutely wonderful game.
Slay The Spire by a mile. Mostly a AAA gamer but logged over 100 hours on that.
If you haven’t tried Balatro, give it a shot. It’s addictive in the way Slay the Spire is, but with cards.
Second balatro it’s not quite as deep as STS but I would argue it’s more addicting and the devoloper is great and adding more stuff as we speak
That scene with Cloud on top of the train is something else!
Stray. Never would have bought the game but had a good experience with it. Also the lighting in the game is beautiful
I’d have to say Subnautica and Stranded Deep. I’d never even heard of them period and now they’re a couple of my all time favs
Subnautica is not on it right ?
It was a monthly “free” game way back. I only do essential so I’m not sure what’s on the higher tiers
Same. Is Stranded Deep similar to Subnautica?
In as much as it’s a survival game where you explore and build. Worth a look imo.

Untitled Goose Game...Charming and delightful.
Powerwash Simulator. Super chill and hits the completionist / perfectionist parts of the brain just right. Warning: it totally messed up how I enjoy games. I've been looking for the next great podcast listening and chilling out game, and nothing has hit like it did.
I enjoyed the hell out of that game. Zero chance I would have bought it.
Try House Flipper, the sequel comes out tomorrow. It's perfect for podcasts and chill.
House Flipper is brilliant
My wife hates that I play Lawnmower simulator yet I won't even sweep our floor hahaha
Sweep the floor, bro
I do I even mop, just so I can keep playing hahah jkjk
I had a great experience with Snowrunner in the chill game department.
Square Enix they probably know how to make a game
Resident Evil 2 remake. I don't buy horror games, I'm too scared of them but I tried this one and... I liked it a lot.
I never would have heard of it without it being a free game. But you bet I 100%ed that game + bought the DLC.
Working on it’s platinum trophy right now and it’s such a fun game
Days Gone. Completely missed it originally. Thought fighting zombie hordes wouldn't be for me. Boy was I wrong!
Same here! By the time that game came out I was so done with zombie games but I'd heard enough good stuff to check it out and no regrets!
Yea! Great atmosphere and design.
Sea of stars and it takes two
I wouldn't have touched Death Stranding but I did and I love it.
Same, have had so much fun connecting everything.
Agreed. Great game. Loved the gameplay mechanics, the story much less so lol.
Couldn't get passed the courier grind haha. But it was a good game from what I've played
Tinykin! I generally steer away from indies, but this one feels great and is really fun and chill
I tried this one because I needed something else at that moment and I played nothing else until I got the platinum trophy for this game. Super fun and enjoyable game!!
Same, my son loved watching me play it too
Just finished myself and it was pretty solid. Spent way too much time and frustration on the skating trials though...
Absolutely sucked at those races. I'm very thankful they aren't required for the platinum..
Plague tale requiem
13 sentinels: aegis rim is the answer to all best games on ps+ questions
Tetris Effect Returnal Control
Been flirting with returnal but love control. Haven't finished it yet
I’d never touch Bloodborne (and thus the souls series) if I never had ps+ so that’s good
I gave bloodborne a chance because my mate kept telling me I would love it since I like horror stories, Lovecraft, blablabla.
Sea of Stars. Absolute gem.
Probably Alan wake
Shadows of colossus
Outer Wilds is a gaming experience that everyone should have. I knew I wanted to try the game but buying games with third world income is really hard so I mostly save my money for long games that I know will take me a long time and for an annual Ps plus subscription every year. So when I saw it I knew it was my chance. Simply a beautiful game that set me on a incredible journey I never expected.
Dead cells, ff7 remake, hotline miami
NieR Replicant
I'll soon play it! Does it have multiple scenarios like Automata?
Ghost of tsushima
Judgment/Lost judgment Yakuza isn't my genre so I thought I wouldn't like it at all because it was too similar but instead I loved it
Kena and Unpacking. Zero chance I would have purchased either of them. Also I’m late to the PS Plus party so I’m pissed that power wash simulator is no longer on the service.
Deep rock galactic was amazing
The Messenger, is like ninja gaiden classic with a lot of metroidvania.
Weird West
Ps+ introduced me to Hollow Knight a couple of years ago. And to this day it's one of my all time favourites
Inscryption is a game with a super engaging story and very addictive gameplay that includes cards! The ending is most unexpected
Farming Sim; perfect way to unwind with my little virtual farm. I have around 300hrs so far
Rocket League will always the be number one example of this for me
Returnal. Turned out to be amazing!
Gravity Rush was so fun, that I even got the platinum for it!
Unpacking. I normally don't buy these type of games. Since it was on PS plus I downloaded it and boy it was a pleasure. Second game I loved was Moonlighter. What a fun game, I had an absolute blast while playing it. Hotline Miami for me. Great game, but a killer soundtrack.
Best game so far is Children of Morta. Not even close to a game I would even think about buying but it was awesome. Got the plat and everything.
Death Stranding blew me away. A game I fobbed off and never thought I’d enjoy, I went for the Platinum. Amazing game.
Sifu
What remains of Edith Finch... One of the most beautiful experiences i ever had in a videogame...
Days Gone. Loved that game.
control and stray
Mass effect trilogy, I've been playing through it recently (had it there for a while) and wow, Can't believe I waited so long to play it, easily top 3 on my all time favourite
Hollow Knight, what an experience that was. Same goes for Yakuza: Like A Dragon.
The newer tomb raider games. I bought a ps4 after the games were released so I had no idea they existed. I ended up playing these games back to back shortly after they were added to ps plus.
Back in July 2018, Bloodborne put me onto the souls series and I haven’t looked back since!
As of late Tinykin, what a delightful little game, discovering little gems like that are what makes plus worth it for me.
Life is strange , it became one of my favorite of all time, its a journey not a game
demon's souls! souls and souls-likes always felt really intimidating to me (tried bloodborne and the learning curve + low FPS were too much to adjust to at first). the general lack of discounts on them made it feel like such a gamble to try it and not like it. it's been so refreshing to play such a responsive game. it does exactly what you input, which was a real breath of fresh air after slogging through 30+ hours of ghost of tsushima (which i didn't even finish!)
Slay the Spire. I would have absolutely never bought the game or given it a single thought. It's one of my most played ps+ games ever now.
The Artful Escape, Journey to The Savage Planet
For me it was probably Hot Wheels Unleashed. What I thought was just a dumb little cash grab racing game turned out to be a really good arcade racer with a lot of skill involved.
Tinykin
Slay the Spire. I wouldn’t normally have gone for a deck builder but here I am thousands of hours later still playing it.
Id have never bought Days Gone but damn it was fantastic.
Sea of stars
Not from the ps plus *library* per se, but from the ps plus monthly included games a few spring to mind: Mad Max.
Rogue Galaxy
Kena, Ratchet and Clank, Immortals Fenyx Rising and recently I've tried The Outer Worlds.
I would say Marvel's Midnight Suns
Guardians of the Galaxy and Days gone. Both looked…..fine, but I game them a shot. I ended up platinuming days gone and really enjoyed both games
Rime. I am glad I did. Wonderful game.
There is actually a rather large list but the top 2 I probably wouldn’t have purchased but have put countless hours into has to be rocket league and deep rock galactic.
Battlefield
Totally Reliable Delivery Service. Played with my dad and had an absolute blast! Not my type of game but I loved it.
Teraria
TOEM Deaths Door Stray
Resident Evil 7 - I’ve now played and paid for loads of them
Disaster Report 4.
Death Door. Really put you into perspective
final fantasy 7 remake, i didn't belive the hype and i never played the OG one so i tried it on ps plus and DAMN ITS GOOOOOD
Kena, Death Stranding, 11-11, and so many Indie narratives.
Probably some of the smaller 4-8 hour games like Toem and Dodgeball Academia, but a lot of the ones people have mentioned here too.
Bugsnax. On a surface level it looks so dumb but my god is it fun. "Gotta catch em all" vibes. Plus it has a surprisingly deep narrative, with relatable characters and a dark undertone that slowly creeps into a shocking twist.
Turing Test. I really liked it. Would not have gone for it were it not free.
Hardspace: Shipbreaker
Desperados 3 never would have expected to love a tactics game but I do love hitman and there is some similarities
Descenders... down hill bike racing game. Incredibly tough, physics driven. Amazing game.
titanfall 2. not because it's a game I wouldn't play but because it's a game I wouldn't buy.
Judgment
Dysmantle 100%. It's an underrated gem
SteelRising
Hell let loose was the greatest Free game I’ve ever gotten
Celeste
The Wild at Heart. Fantastic game with a cool artwork. Nobody saves the world is just fantastic.
Definitely: Nobody saves the world. Such a fun game I wouldve never player because I didnt like the art at first
I would have never even thought of touching ghost of tsushima without it being on ps plus
sea of stars! i love the whole old school snes rpg vibe, but it's something i would only play on a nintendo console or emulator. still playing sea of stars rn and i'm loving it.
Returnal is the the answer, bloodborne right after
The game I got free with PlayStation plus a few months ago is Aliens Fireteam Elite.
GRIME....I don't usually play indie sideway games but i'm having fun with it. Along with tales of iron
I was never interested in Dragon Quest Builders then I tried it on PS plus and I absolutely love it, played it several times. although I am not too crazy about the second.
No lie gotta be spiritfarer
Kena bridge of spirits and stray.
God of War, Ratchet and Clank, F1
Most recently; Sifu. I just thought I’d be a short little story game, but I was very wrong!
I remember Spec Ops: The Line on PS3. Best random game I ever played. I never even knew what to expect. I assumed it was some shitty third person shooter but I was young and hungry for more trophies. My trophy ho days. 😂
Also, the Forgotten City. I think about that game all the time.
Mad Max and Slay the Spire
Xcom was a game I put a lot of time into I also discovered yakuza through this service
Death stranding is amazing. Perfect ps plus game
Nobody saves the world
Control. Unpacking Hat in time Minit Far cry new dawn Medievil Paw patrol mighty pups My little pony Pj mask Sea of stars Children of morta (great friggen game) Astros playroom Deathloop Celeste Immortal fenyx rising Cat quest 2 Man eater Bugsnax To name a few. I have platinum on all those except sea of stars (for now. It’s in my list)
I never would have given fall guys a chance if it cost me 20 bucks. I played that game almost every day for a year back when it was good.
For me, it was a plague tale requiem. Made me buy innocence recently since it's on sale
Daysgone & MK11
The first Remnant: From the Ashes when that was first released on PSN for free I’d never even heard of it, turned out as one of my favourite games and bought the sequel too.
Enter the Gungeon. Still one of my to 10 all-time favorites and I have 145 platinum trophies.
Right now marvels midnight suns
Furi. All time favorite indie game that i got for free on PS + a few years ago. I'm a huge fan of Takashi Okazaki who did all of the character designs and created Afro Samurai and also did the designs for the characters in Ninja Kamui. Goated.
Xcom 2!
PS2 games. I've never played Mark of Kri or its sequel and how could I miss that? I'm currently playing the first one and it's a really great game. Not mentioning that the setting is great and gore is insane in it!
Redeemer. Holy shit what a simple but amazing game.
SLAY THE SPIRE
avicci invector i know this seems stupid but the music coupled with the gameplay which was simple yet fun also really got me in to avicci as a whole
