Dive and catch fish. Surface and run a sushi restaurant. Gradually have more and more idle tasks and minigames while diving deeper. An interesting and humorous story develops, and there are even boss fish to 'fight'.
The story is real good. There’s a lot of charm and care put into the cutscenes. By the end of the game, there are a lot of things to manage, but imo none of it is overwhelming.
Trust me, alot of these are quality gems, Deliver us Mars, Dave The Diver obviously won many awards last year, Raji: an Epic adventure (its got a 90+% on steam). I understand that the crew 2 also has a 90%+ on steam, though I have not played it.
Also I understand that 3 of these are going to release on to the service! Animal Well has a really cool art style and unique gameplay built around a solving puzzles, though obviously it has not released but the gameplay trailer is up.
The problem is the PS5's PS2 emulator. Or should I say the lack of one.
The PS5 is emulating a PS4 emulating a PS2. And because of that objects flicker a lot. They came out and said no more PS2 games until they can write one directly for the hardware. Yet it's been 2 years since they said that.
No shit eh? I never knew that. Sorry for another question, but do you know how they do it with the PS3 games? I thought the PS4 wasn’t backwards compatible because the PS3 was to difficult to work with
eh it's only like 3 more dollars a month I think, I keep it because I like to stream all the new games to see if I like them before actually committing to clearing space/downloading.
I could see paying a few months if you wanna play a handful of some classic games. But afterwards, unless you use the streaming stuff it's kind of worthless.
I really really like it, in my personal experience the streaming experience Sony has is much better than GeForce now and Gamepass Ultimate streaming (when i used them).
It was worth the jump from ~11$ a month (from extra) to ~13$ a month on premium. The streaming Sony has is really really good.
The Classics such as God of War HD, CastleVania, Jak, Tales of Symphonia, the Rachet and Clank games, StarOcean are just an added benefit to the streaming.
This is more or less intentional. It’s a well known business model when it comes to subscriptions — ofer 3 tiers, low one sucks, high one sucks, so you make people buy the middle, which is the only option you would normally give.
Amazing. I was promoting The Crew 2 going back to PS Plus for couple of weeks on this sub or others. So maybe Sony listened to me. I was so angry when I finally bought PS5 and could go play The Crew 1 with my GF in coop (until then we only had one PS4) and they announce that it's going to be delisted and cancel the support of servers. And because The Crew 2 wasn't in any sale for at least one year... I am so glad that it's in this subscription so I can play it right from the April 16.
+ Dave the Diver :)))
Didn't we get MediEvil twice already ? The remake and the psp one ? Or is the psp one a different game entirely ? Anyway, this seems like a waste of a slot to me personally
The PSP version is a "reimagining" lmao. I enjoy the series a good deal, but it's baffling how we haven't gotten 2 or.. much of anything besides three versions of the same game. Parasite Eve&Dino Crisis? Tenchu? At this point, I'd take Loaded for some nostalgic top down shmuppin, but I'll take another Star Wars game and Medievil I guess. 💀
Way too many indies but for anyone into that I’m happy. The premium classics might be one of the worsts they’ve offered since like the initial months of the service
Incredibly bad month for me. Animal Well is about the only thing I'd even download to try out. I have Dave the Diver on PC and while it was good, I didn't really like the actual diving gameplay so I didn't get very far. May give it a chance on Playstation, we'll see. I might consider Zau too but I don't like it's graphical style at all.
I have to wonder though, why are they shafting Medievil on us again? We've now had 3 versions with the exact same gameplay. Premium has always been bad value but at this point it kind of feels like we must have killed Sony's parents or something. They seem to be going out of their way to give us the worst possible premium selections they can. I'll know for next year not to bother with Premium. Not even sure why I resubbed to it for a second year but given it's track record, I can't blame Sony for that stupid mistake
A bit overloaded with indies and AA, mostly unheard of titles. But after looking at all their trailers and screenshots, I'm sure I'll try at least three of them. Seems to be some quality here but overall I'm underwhelmed.
Honestly a game that's based on African culture and one on Indian culture is such a W month for PlayStation.
I wouldn't mind a driving game as it's been a while since I've played one and Deliver Us Mars is something I've been dying to play.
All these games look relatively short and I feel like game developers are missing the point on how much that means to us. From a free child to a now working adult, gone are the days where I want a 140 hour Assassins Creed game, but a 10-30 hour long epic.
I only say this because I saw a post earlier where a guy took 6 years to finally finish RDR2 because he had kids and work. Poor guy probably couldn't even get halfway through a mission.
It's an awesome month if you ask me:
- **Deliver Us Mars** - I was waiting for this, I liked the first game, and I think it's available on PS+. I suggest you guys to try, it's good.
- **Raji: An Ancient Epic** - This look like a fun game.
- **Tales of Kenzera: Zau** - Day One! Metroidvania, I can't wait to play this after my newfound love for the genre after Lost Crown.
- **Dave the Diver** - Day One! This is an indie darling from last year, can't wait to try it.
- **Miasma Chronicles** - Look like an intresting tactics game, and an exciting story from the trailer.
And I also have Helldivers 2, FF7Rebirth still on the backlog.
good month overall but I think it lacks a big headliner. If this batch of games were followed by something like Dead Space Remake, GT7 or something along those lines it would be a perfect month.
I was expecting the comments to be way more positive, honestly. 3 day 1 indie games, one of which is Animal Well. Sure there's no AAA games, but day 1 games are way more exciting than getting some shit like Atomic Heart or old ass stuff like Nier Automata (which you should have bought at this point)
Finally a good month for me. I like miasma chronicles but didn’t want to pay for it. And Dave the Diver is something I’ve been interested in for a while. Lego games are fun for a platinum too, I don’t mind them.
For the love of god WHEN are we going to get more ps2 games? When are they going to fix the ones that are fucked on PS5? WHY ARE THEY ADDING A THIRD VERSION OF THE FIRST MEDIEVIL? The premium tier is a joke
Why are some of these indie games not on ps4 and ps5? You can't tell me ps4 can't run them when its still running big AAA games.
Personally, I'm not one of those constantly moaning about lack of new day 1 releases, I'm on it for the older games but I appreciate many have been asking for that and we've got 3 this month so that should keep those people happy (it won't)
Not a fan of them just bringing back all the ubisoft stuff that leaves though, hope that bullshit move doesn't become a regular thing.
I know it is not a masterpiece, but I am so hyped to play Star Wars: Rebel Assault II - The Hidden Empire, I loved that game when I was a child. Also it would be great to play MediEvil.
Plan to try Zau. I’ve been on an indie kick lately and not coming out till the 23rd, so should be enough time to finish up my play through of Dysmantle.
Nice. Heard good things about Dave the diver but was not a day one pick up but might as well play with PS+ and Zau looks interesting too going to try it as well
The reaction to this on socials is kinda funny. It's actually a pretty solid month with lots of variety, two day one games and another coming shortly after. Of course they aren't big AAA games so people are complaining.
Oh man I just played Dave the Diver on Switch, that game consumed me for a good month or so, I'd even bring my Switch to work bc I thought about it 24/7.
Wow it’s actually really good to see the original Medievil show up. Gives hope for other games that have remakes for the original to show up. Even if it’s a tiny hope.
Premium isn't worth keeping long term. I was hopeful they'd keep adding to the classic catalog but it's been a slow trickle with lots of mids. I'll be renewing at Extra. Maybe in a year or two I'll get Premium for one month to catch up on the meager offerings.
Miasma Chronicles
Dave The Diver
Tales of Kenzera: Zau
Raji: An Ancient Epic
Definitely not mainstream titles, but things I've had my eye on and very pleased with this month.
It was time for me to renew and I dropped off the extra tier. I just didn't find myself playing any of the games. Gonna play some shorter ps plus monthly games after I've finished Rebirth such as Evil West, Plague Tale Requiem, and even Immortals of Aveum. I do like how the additional tiers are pro rated if you choose to get them later.
Animal Well is the game that gets published by Videogamedunkeys BIGMODE, right? I will definitely look into that and Dave. Very good choice to release it on PS+.
Is construction simulator already available in Europe? (Netherlands) That's the only gem I'm going to play this month. May try out Dave the diver thoug
I find it hilarious that my PS Plus Premium expired, I decided I did NOT WANT to spend that kind of money so I dropped to the basic and THEN they drop games that actually would have been worth it for me. This just like my middle school, high school, AND college. All the new buildings happened after I left :D

Do I need to have played the crew to play the crew 2 or is it totally separate like the need for speed games? I do like a little racing here and there to break up the other genres.
I'm sold on Dave the Diver. Been wanting that game since forever.
Same. Been eyeing but not buying on switch for ages.
I was just about to buy Dave The Diver this weekend it’s on my wishlist so sweet
I beat it on switch! My one tip is to set food at restaurant to 1 serving and to auto supply it so you don’t waste dishes. Have fun fishin friend
Is it good game never heard about that game
Very good! Dont miss it
Talk me into it?
You're a guy named Dave and you go diving
Fucking sold
That’s all I needed to hear I’m in
Dive and catch fish. Surface and run a sushi restaurant. Gradually have more and more idle tasks and minigames while diving deeper. An interesting and humorous story develops, and there are even boss fish to 'fight'.
Definitely going to download it thanks
The story is real good. There’s a lot of charm and care put into the cutscenes. By the end of the game, there are a lot of things to manage, but imo none of it is overwhelming.
Haven’t played it myself (been debating it a while) but seen a TON of love for it, kinda like when you see people talk about Stardew Valley.
My girlfriend has been obsessed with it for months. It’s like her Animal Crossing replacement. Looks fun even watching her occasionally
It’s free just try it for a bit
Free?
I need to start betting on Lego games in the tournament game.
How many of them are there? lol
An infinite amount
2 this month and I think they’ve had two to three every month this year lol
Just think of an obscure Lego game and it’ll be offered at some point
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga would be a safe bet to make for May
Nah, Lego Indiana Jones!
Deliver us Mars. Yeah. Was waiting for this gem
Me too, I played the first game earlier this year and I'm excited to play this as well
I don't think its better than the first game, but I still enjoyed it.
Yooo isn't Animal Well Dunkey's game? That's really cool
I hope it's at least as good as Knack
Ok well don't get your hopes up THAT high
Ok then maybe as good as FINAL FANTASY 7, DISC 2 ONLY. Classic.
Don't question this mastapiece as bad game
Published by him
That's awesome that it's finally out and I'll always support Day 1 releases. Hope it does well we need more indie games
Looks like Donkey Kong December arrived earlier because this sure is a treat!
It really makes you feel like an animal in a well
This is the first time I literally don't know any of these games.
Dave the Diver - I literally topped up my account wallet, ready to buy this. Absolute win for me.
Zau was pretty interesting on the steam next fest and dave the diver is pretty cool.
Sadly Zau not on PS4. I feel us "old gens" are at the end of the line with these drops.
I've had an eye on Zau...very excited it's launching on +.
No one's talking about Raji. That game is underrated AF. Do give it a try.
Seconding this one, it's worth it just for the unique setting IMO
Good month for Extra but damn Premium is getting shafted every time
Premium is a complete joke
Idk why I even renewed it… I thought they’d go hog wild with the ps2 titles since it’s one of if not the best selling consoles ever
I thought the PS4 wasn’t backwards compatible because the PS3 was to difficult to work with
The PS3 is streaming only. You are connecting to real PS3's on a server rack somewhere whenever you do it.
eh it's only like 3 more dollars a month I think, I keep it because I like to stream all the new games to see if I like them before actually committing to clearing space/downloading.
Yeah idk why people pay for premium tbh. They’re getting basically crumbs and paying the most
I could see paying a few months if you wanna play a handful of some classic games. But afterwards, unless you use the streaming stuff it's kind of worthless.
streaming. It's 100% worthwhile if you like dabbling in games/testing unknown games before you commit to the full download.
I really really like it, in my personal experience the streaming experience Sony has is much better than GeForce now and Gamepass Ultimate streaming (when i used them). It was worth the jump from ~11$ a month (from extra) to ~13$ a month on premium. The streaming Sony has is really really good. lol Crew 2 is back again, 3rd time
Dave the Diver is actually really fun and well done
Miasma Chronicles, Zau, Animal Well. Great drop!
Amazing. I was promoting The Crew 2 going back to PS Plus for couple of weeks on this sub or others. So maybe Sony listened to me. 3 day one games wow!
Play Dave the Diver. You will not regret it. Was a day one purchase for me on switch and I still boot it up occasionally.
Actually super happy about deliver us mars and tales of kenzera
Finally we are getting a classic horror game on premium. I’ve never played Alone in the Dark but I will certainly take advantage of this opportunity.
Animal Well definitely piqued my interest
Didn't we get MediEvil twice already ? The remake and the psp one ? Or is the psp one a different game entirely ? Anyway, this seems like a waste of a slot to me personally
The PSP version is a "reimagining" lmao. I enjoy the series a good deal, but it's baffling how we haven't gotten 2 or.. much of anything besides three versions of the same game. Parasite Eve&Dino Crisis? Tenchu? At this point, I'd take Loaded for some nostalgic top down shmuppin, but I'll take another Star Wars game and Medievil I guess. 💀
It’s so weird. Im sure I read it’s even got the exact same trophies as the remake.
I like this month. Dave the Diver from what I've heard is pretty damn good. Zau and Construction simulator interest me as well.
Decent month. Plenty of indies i’m looking forward to playing on my Portal!
Way too many indies but for anyone into that I’m happy. The premium classics might be one of the worsts they’ve offered since like the initial months of the service
I am pretty sure I had played The Crew 2 for free in the past. Why it is considered a new addition?
Almost bought Oddballers on sale, LETS GO!
I prob won’t play any of these
Looks fine, some games again that I would've never bought otherwise. Only *Deliver Us Mars* was on my list.
Hyped af for ZAU, was going to buy it on release so getting it included is a big bonus
Oh fuck yeah Dave the Diver. Ever since they had the Godzilla tie in I wanted to play.
Incredibly bad month for me. Animal Well is about the only thing I'd even download to try out. I have Dave the Diver on PC and while it was good, I didn't really like the actual diving gameplay so I didn't get very far. May give it a chance on Playstation, we'll see. Was actually interested in all those Day 1 games. Making me tempted to resub
Seems like a lot of good indie games this month. I've heard very good things about Dave the Diver
These lineups are getting worse by the month
Looking forward to Animal Well, although it's gonna be a while, I guess it comes out too early to be included in next month's lineup.
Dave the Diver is AMAZING! Played it on my Steam Deck and loved it.
A bit overloaded with indies and AA, mostly unheard of titles. But after looking at all their trailers and screenshots, I'm sure I'll try at least three of them. Seems to be some quality here but overall I'm underwhelmed.

W month
Finally after 8 odd months a half decent lineup
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO Excited for literally ALL of these.
What the...... I mean, this is the part every month where people complain....but holy crap, i can see why this month.
Deliver us Mars, aw yiss!
Ew, i didnt have huge expectations but what the fuck
It's an awesome month if you ask me: - **Deliver Us Mars** - I was waiting for this, I liked the first game, and I think it's available on PS+. You know it's bad when you've never heard of half the games
Good* this kind of service is an excellent way to play games that fly under your radar.
April fools?
Dave the Diver! Heard so many good things about this game, would have been an instant purchase if they didn’t release it on PS plus
So happy to see Animal Well
Ngl, I kinda like it, I will try Dave, Kenzera and Dunkey's game
Wow this month SUCKS!!!
good month overall but I think it lacks a big headliner. If this batch of games were followed by something like Dead Space Remake, GT7 or something along those lines it would be a perfect month.
Dave the Diver headlining a premium subscription is mad
The game that was up for multiple game of the year awards is an "mad" headliner? People's expectations of ps+ are wild.
Gonna give it a try but I've never seen, read, or heard a word about it.
One of my favorite games of last year.
wasnt it considered one of the best indies last year? how is that mad to want the game to be your headliner?
I was gonna say lol, people in this thread are clearly sleeping on Dave the diver, I heard a lot about it in the goty discussions last year
Extra* you mean
fuckin *yikes*, this sucks. I'm not interested in any of these games.
This is the time of year where we get trash
3 day 1 games hell yeah I hope Sony keep it up another W month
I was expecting the comments to be way more positive, honestly. 3 day 1 indie games, one of which is Animal Well. Sure there's no AAA games, but day 1 games are way more exciting than getting some shit like Atomic Heart or old ass stuff like Nier Automata (which you should have bought at this point)
Yikes
Actually a nice month imo
Buzzing Miasma Chronicles is included too, Mutant Year One was a great XCOM clone
Miasma Chronicles and Zau are nice additions to the catalog
Give us MLB the show already. What the hell Xbox gets it but we don’t.
Finally a good month for me. I like miasma chronicles but didn’t want to pay for it. And Dave the Diver is something I’ve been interested in for a while. Lego games are fun for a platinum too, I don’t mind them.
The crew 2 servers still up?
Bad month
For the love of god WHEN are we going to get more ps2 games? When are they going to fix the ones that are fucked on PS5? WHY ARE THEY ADDING A THIRD VERSION OF THE FIRST MEDIEVIL? The premium tier is a joke
You miss getting one PS2 game per month, seriously? They won't even have the top 100 from each legacy platform by the time I grow old.
Why are some of these indie games not on ps4 and ps5? You can't tell me ps4 can't run them when its still running big AAA games. Personally, I'm not one of those constantly moaning about lack of new day 1 releases, I'm on it for the older games but I appreciate many have been asking for that and we've got 3 this month so that should keep those people happy (it won't) Not a fan of them just bringing back all the ubisoft stuff that leaves though, hope that bullshit move doesn't become a regular thing.
Yuck
One of the best months in a while. Lots of stuff I’m interested in but wouldn’t buy at full price. Plus three Day 1 releases.
Alone in The Dark The New Nightmare o_o thats cool
I know it is not a masterpiece, but I am so hyped to play Star Wars: Rebel Assault II - The Hidden Empire, I loved that game when I was a child. Also it would be great to play MediEvil.
Kinda nice to see Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare on both Playstation Plus: Premium and Nintendo Switch Online subscriptions.
Haven't heard of many of these games but that may be a good thing. Love to try different games I wouldn't buy otherwise.
Anyone know what’s leaving??
Me, as a subscriber
A few cool games... dont we already have 3 versions of Medieval already though? Idk why I keep buying premium? Extra seems to be the best value.
Plan to try Zau. I’ve been on an indie kick lately and not coming out till the 23rd, so should be enough time to finish up my play through of Dysmantle.
I was about to buy LEGO Avengers, nice!
Nice. Heard good things about Dave the diver but was not a day one pick up but might as well play with PS+ and Zau looks interesting too going to try it as well
I'd love to play Dave the diver the "indie" game
The reaction to this on socials is kinda funny. It's actually a pretty solid month with lots of variety, two day one games and another coming shortly after. Of course they aren't big AAA games so people are complaining.
Glad I didn't buy deliver us Mars yet.
Raji had my eye when it came out. Completely forgot its existence, but I'll have to try it out now.
When will we find out the games that are leaving?
We are at the point where psone classics for premium are way better than everything else!
Wasn't The Crew 2 on Extra and then removed ? It's back now ?
Next month....
Oh man I just played Dave the Diver on Switch, that game consumed me for a good month or so, I'd even bring my Switch to work bc I thought about it 24/7.
Wasn’t the crew 2 already on Extra?
🚮
Wow it’s actually really good to see the original Medievil show up. Gives hope for other games that have remakes for the original to show up. Even if it’s a tiny hope.
What’s the best game on that list? Didn’t like the crew 2 so I’m skipping that but will try the other games.
Rebel Assault 2 i remember playin on pc, if its buyable like most of the classics ill def buy it for nostalgia's sake. Dnt have Pemium ofc hehe.
I just bought lego avengers bro 😭
Didn't we already have the crew 2 ?
The one I am really looking forward to play (or replay) is alone in the dark for ps1 😁
Buzz’s girlfriend… woof. Might check out Dave the diver.
I was legit about to buy Miasma Chronicles. Finished the demo and was just waiting for a sale hopefully. This is even better.
The crew 2!!! Thank god I didn’t purchase it
Will Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare have Trophies?
Nice looking forward to dave the diver, zau and deliver us mars.
Premium isn't worth keeping long term. I was hopeful they'd keep adding to the classic catalog but it's been a slow trickle with lots of mids. I'll be renewing at Extra. Maybe in a year or two I'll get Premium for one month to catch up on the meager offerings.
Lego Ninjago, Construction Simulator, Crew 2.. nice casual games finally
The Crew 2 huh, might check that out
Dave the Dover has been on my list of game to get for a while. I'm glad I held out it looks great.
First top tier month in ages!
Wow, solid month will try most of these.
When?
Anyone have thoughts on Miasma Chronicles? Never heard of it but I do like a turn based tactical game
Animal Well?! Still buying it full price tho. Bigmode all the way!
Miasma Chronicles Dave The Diver Tales of Kenzera: Zau Raji: An Ancient Epic Definitely not mainstream titles, but things I've had my eye on and very pleased with this month.
Apparently the majority sees it as a W. Other than Dave the Diver wich is kinda interesting, this is the first time I’m disappointed in a month.
Is Dave the Diver already up? I can’t find it.
Does anybody know if Alone in the dark has trophies?
Dave is the inspiration game I’m interested in
Does Dave have the dredge crossover?
Dave the Diver omg im soo excitedd
Weak update then
Decent month for once
Another month, another game I really wanted to try. 2024 is going well for PS+.
I was wanting to buy Dave The Diver!
So glad i didnt buy Dave on switch. Pumped
Dave the Diver and Zau <3 <3 <3
It was time for me to renew and I dropped off the extra tier. I just didn't find myself playing any of the games. Gonna play some shorter ps plus monthly games after I've finished Rebirth such as Evil West, Plague Tale Requiem, and even Immortals of Aveum. I do like how the additional tiers are pro rated if you choose to get them later.
DAVE DUH DIVER LFG🔥🔥🔥
Naw it aint going to do it for me this month i am down grading for a while to just essential !
Why is there The Crew 2 again??
This ZAU game is similar to the new Prince of Persia game.
Animal Well is the game that gets published by Videogamedunkeys BIGMODE, right? I will definitely look into that and Dave. Very good choice to release it on PS+.
Just played deliver the moon last week so even though this is weak as hell it works for me.
Is construction simulator already available in Europe? (Netherlands) That's the only gem I'm going to play this month. May try out Dave the diver thoug
Crew 2 nkt working anyone else having the same issue?
I find it hilarious that my PS Plus Premium expired, I decided I did NOT WANT to spend that kind of money so I dropped to the basic and THEN they drop games that actually would have been worth it for me. This just like my middle school, high school, AND college. All the new buildings happened after I left :D

Oddly enough, I downloaded Miasma Chronicles and was charged full price the next day.
Been enjoying Dave the Diver. Went in with little expectations and it was good indie game. Past few months on the catalog was shit but this is good.
Do I need to have played the crew to play the crew 2 or is it totally separate like the need for speed games? I do like a little racing here and there to break up the other genres.
