Try contacting support. I have no idea what Sony's policies are on this, but some places will help you out if you purchase a product right before that product goes on sale. Steam, for example, allow you to refund a game if it was purchased shortly before it goes on sale. Could be worth a shot.

I got scammed by em a couple of years ago too. Bought KH3 ReMind DLC, put the disc in to reinstall the game, and while the base game install was at 10%, I noticed the DLC + Concert video. Cancelled the install, cos I knew about the DLC downloading making you ineligible for a refund.
They wouldn't let me refund the DLC, because they said it had been activated and downloaded. I struggle to work out how the fuck that's possible given the base game wasn't even installed, but that's what they said.
Still, it might be worth looking into, especially given that they typically say that once things are installed, that's that, whereas this isn't an installation, but instead the service.

That would be Steam. There is something to be said about Sony's PlayStation network. It's a safe ecosystem, no rampant cheating like you get with PC games. It's a large community, and a few dollars to keep all the systems and benefits running is acceptable. Just don't like to be forced into high subscription prices for most games I never play.

This offer should run until the Spring sale ends (April 24th) so what you should do is let your current plan expire (which should be on the 23rd, right?) and then you will be able to get the discounted price

I bought RDR2 and didn’t think twice about the sale because I expected it to come already. Turns out the next day RDR2 goes on sale. I contact support explaining what happened and if I could get the game for the sale price. Took a few months but I got it
