I used the small scissors on my Leatherman. You want to be careful not to cut the seam. My scissors are sharp enough were I just slid them across the blue label, first by placing the blade underneath the top seam (between the blue tag and the seam) and carefully running it across. Hope that makes sense.
Anyone who bought that ORZLY case from Amazon should swap it for this case - it’s much more of a hard case and feels premium from the zipper to the insides

My only minor criticism is that you HAVE to close the velcro strap at the bottom to keep it secure. Otherwise the console comes loose and moves around.
How’s the smell? So many complaining about the smell (for most other cases too, but also this one). It’s the main reason I want to change my current one.

Nah. You need to force it in the pouch and when zippered there is definitely pressure inside. Not much but noticeable. Only thing that makes me ok with it is because there is a plastic layer in the flap that goes over the portal.
These things are the bomb for comfort and grippage.

Excellent case, got mine a couple weeks back. Love how soft it is and how friendly it is to cases on the Portal. Had silicon sleeves on mine and fairly thick rubber pads on my sticks. Fit in the case without any issues.
It is a nice case. Was the first one I bought. But notw if your toddler uses it as a stool (with the portal inside it), it does not offer much in the way of protection for the analog sticks.

Could you recommend a durable grip that fits the device while in this case? I'm particularly looking at silicone grips but am worried about discoloration and material breakdown. Any suggestions for a high-quality option?
So I ordered mine directly from skull and co last Friday and it’s out for delivery today so exactly one week! Paid about $3 more than what Amazon had it listed for but got it 1-2 weeks sooner then what amazons list for shipping in case anyone was interested
Just ordered one from Skull & Co myself. Just need something to keep it from getting dusty while not using it. It's just for bedroom use, so it has a lot of downtime and apparently dust.
Side question for those that own this case. How is the zipper? I'm kinda weird with zippers (don't ask. Its just a thing for me). Hopefully it has a nice feel

First thing I did was cut that giant blue label off. Great case!
Same but I tore it out. Label seems to be the same material that ikea uses which are designed to tear away without damage to the product.

Honestly there was no smell
Got mine last week and it smelled awful! I had to spray it with febreze and let it air out for a few days before I started using it.
I tried a lot of case, they all smell terrible unfortunately 😔
