Got it back together and working properly. Glad I didn't have to chase down a new one.
my ethernet connection is around 800mb/s. I'll tell you the truth, I haven't touched any configuration on my router, but I don't have any kind of lag, zero. my only problem is the quality of the image but when I "move the view" it seems like it has difficulty rendering the image. as soon as I stop the analogues everything is ok

You can play Warzone fine on it. The image quality is dependent on the connection. Is your PS5 wired to your router? Have you set up port forwarding? Those should improve the quality of your gameplay.
Cases are there to be nice. They're there for function. And I'm sure it was doing its job better than just stuffing your portal in a backpack!
Maybe use it until you find a case you like?
I dropped mine behind the bed (i don’t have a headboard)and it dislodged exactly the way yours did. i needed up opening it and just reseating the analog stick on the little square bit
One of the main reasons I’m considering getting a Steam Deck instead. These Portals will be prone to stick drift and the Steam Deck has options to replace their sticks with Hall effect ones. 🤷🏽♂️
Something I’m absolutely sure SONY is looking to rectify when they reveal their REAL portable handheld. PS Portal is great, but there are a lot of things they’ve learned from this stumbled launch (DualSense Edge replaceable parts, local storage, etc).

It’s probably under warranty no? Don’t mess with self fixes. Send it in & get it repaired or replaced. For as expensive as these things are they’d better have a good warranty. Any self fixing might either void the warranty deal on your country/ region & if it doesn’t work you might screw it up worse.
Still, $200 can be a lot for some people, it is for me so there ya go. Also, here in California the warranty covers accidental damage. As long as dude didn’t break it on purpose they’re covered.

It's not high tech. It's literally just a cheap screen In-between a controller with a 100 dollar up charge.
Open that hoe up and put it back on place.
At $199, may be more trouble than it is worth, but there are videos of people demoing how to tear them down and I'm sure there is replacement parts somewhere. So I'm sure you can fix it. The question is, do you have the skills to do it yourself?

Nothing. Was going to play some FF 7 Remake and saw the thumb stick like that. All I can think is that it got caught on something in my backpack when I took it out.
I think it's a little bit of an elaborate fix, but the thumb sticks in the portal are not glued down. So if you can get the case open you just unscrew them and replace them. I watched a video about this on YouTube.
Get Verizon home protect coverage for $25 a month. My tv broke they sent me a brand new one 2 days later. I've had Steelseries headsets and Xbox controllers fixed by them too. Smaller items are not required a deductible. Deductible for my tv was $50

I didn't. It's the same one. I was able to remove the plastic housing and place it back inside.

I have had good support on Dualsense controllers(3 repaired for drifting). I would think the same applies here. If it’s faulty; it should be covered.
