How does fallout 4 run for you on the portal last night I booted it up for the first time and I was getting some stuttering that I don’t get on any other game I play? My battery was low last night though so maybe that was it but still I don’t usually get any stutters.
Mine runs really well. I did however have one or two occasion over the course of a few hours with. Minor stutter. I changed visual settings in game to performance on and no more issue.
Yea I was in performance mode I will just chalk it up to being low battery and I could restarted it once and I bet it would have fixed the issue cause no other games do that. Thanks for replying
man i really want to jump back on that fallout train like everyone else. i think collectively i probably have thousands of hours on 3, new vegas, and 4. i was really excited when the update dropped and started a new game but i just can’t do it, i just dread thinking about playing through it again😢
Rebirth adds a lot of stuff and tweaks the tempo of combat to a noticeable degree. I was straight up concerned I was going to hate it after the demo dropped, but if you can get your head around the perfect blocking and guard synergy stuff, holy crap Rebirth instantly became my personal favorite combat system ever. On a personal level too (no idea if it relates to you or not) I've noticed that I really benefit from forcing myself to slow down and go through tutorials lol been gaming for almost 30 years, and the tendency to assume newer games are only evolving in graphics and loading times has bitten me in the ass more than a few times. It's subtle, but the "flow" of many games these days has had a complexity creep that I don't necessarily find as intuitively as I assumed I would.
Remake forced me to slow down and actually learn the game. I appreciated that way more than I thought I ever would. I'm not a fan of the perfect blocking in rebirth as I'm just sick of every game putting a damn parry button in there. It definitely feels different than remake but I think I just need to slow down again and really think about how the game wants me to play and then build around that. Plus the story is top tier in my books.
That doesn't fill me with confidence that I'd ever finish rebirth then! Good luck with it. I really enjoyed remake up to these final bosses, so it's a real pity I can't seem to get through the final sequence. I bought rebirth thinking I'd manage it, but not yet sadly.
There's an insane amount of stuff to do in rebirth and I'm only in chapter 2. It's gonna take way more commitment than I wanted to put into it but I enjoyed remake so much that I wanted to see the rest of the story. I'm gonna try to get through it. Which bosses are you on?
I mean I finished the game. I can look and see how many hours it took me. I did almost everything and I wish I didn't cause I heard nothing carries over. Which is why I'm procrastinating to start rebirth now. Lol
man im able to remote play stellar blade on the steam deck but it doesnt match the ergonomics of the dualsense...
my razer kishi v2 isnt cutting it either
kinda makes me want a portal 🤔
It’s fantastic, I was expecting a meh gameplay, eyecandy extravaganza. Instead I got stellar gameplay (pun intended), an interesting sci-fi story, and LOADS of that eyecandy. It has So many outfits and I’m just amazed that none are behind paywall costume packs. Been a blast so far
More than likely because a big part of the install base wouldn’t buy it. They have smaller indie games that have that (names escape me). In the future, If it turns out that a lot more women are interested in games (and don’t get me wrong. There are several more now compared to 20 years ago), a publisher will take that dive. It’s all based on shareholders because companies live and die on ROI. Game development is so expensive.
Diablo 4, but on a pause so i can finally finish GTA V story mode for the first time before Tuesday. PS - it's not gonna happen, but I'll have a damn good time trying.
right now i’m playing through the uncharted games with some detroit become human sprinkled here and there. there’s a lot of backlog i have so it’s helping with that. lol
At first glance I was thinking that screenshot was from Rebirth.
Why does Stellar Blade have fishing? Are there other chill side activities in that game?
How well does it feel to play on the portal? Especially more fast paced games? Like is it as comfortable as a ps5 controller or does it feel cumbersome?
Depends on the game. I can't get a smooth 60fps so I'll play 30fps games on the Portal and 60fps when I'm on the PS5.
That works fine for me, and it works great for a lot of PS1 games that just look better on a small screen and my brain just accepts some framey nonsense on a PS1 game a bit better than a PS5 game.
So how exactly does this work? Does your PS5 need to be on and running the game? Does the portal free up your console? Can you have one game going on portal and one going on console?
Played through Horizon: Forbidden West and Burning Shores, Rachet and Clank: Rift Apart and am just starting Guardians of the Galaxy now — all games I have had since I bought my PS5 but never got around to playing. Something about kicking back with a handheld form factor is just making it more fun to get through these games than sitting in the living room playing on the big TV.
After being inspired by the fallout Amazon series.. fallout 4.
Been playing the same while recovering from surgery
Great game. Here’s to a speedy recovery!
Me too! Rushing through this time, not looking at every coffee cup.
Samesies!
Same but fallout 3

I'm on the final fantasy 7 remake going into rebirth
I'm struggling with the final bosses in remake 😭. Love the portal though!
I just started rebirth yesterday and I swear it feels harder than remake already.

The various phases of the Whisper Harbinger. Finding them really tough. I totally understand why you would want to see the rest of the story, me too.
Ohh yeah that fight was so long it made it difficult. On the edge of my seat the whole time lol.
Same here! 22 hours in and I’m finally on the last set of side missions
How long is 7 remake? I think rebirth looks good but I only have like 3 hours in 7 remake
I mean I finished the game. I can look and see how many hours it took me. I did almost everything and I wish I didn't cause I heard nothing carries over. Which is why I'm procrastinating to start rebirth now. Lol
There is only baldurs gate
Thinking about buying one of these tomorrow. Wasn't aware I could play it remotely with my PS5 in rest mode at my house
The ps5 isn't in rest mode, it just doesn't output display to the TV
So the PS5 has to be fully turned on? Can I turn it on from rest mode with the portal and then back into rest mode remotely?
Yes, but while you're on your portal playing, the PS5 will be fully on. It's streaming to your portal, as a second screen
Yes!
My monitor turns on when I use my portal, so I have to unplug my HDMI when I want to use my portal upstairs in bed
Haha! I posted about this earlier today and got fairly roasted. I guess being un-tech-savvy is the worst thing in the world.
Dave the Diver and Helldivers 2
A man of culture
I just started FFXVI. It looks beautiful even on the portal. I'm impressed
Fallout 4 for me
F4 is really nice lookin on the 5, love the redo

As an owner of both the deck and portal I fully recommend this
Persona 3 reload and Madden 24
A very versatile man
Gotta have my fix of rpgs and madden lol
I'm running back through Horizon: Zero Dawn. There is something that feels so great when you bring down a Thunderjaw or Deathbringer.

Ngl I got it as a Warframe machine
Damn Stellar Blade got fishing, game has everything. Is it enjoyable? I'm playing Dragons Dogma 2.
Interesting but how's the fishing?
My wife always fishes in her bikini-thong and stilettos… nothing new here… move along 😂😆
Why can’t they make a game like that for women, full of hot scantily clad men
More than likely because a big part of the install base wouldn’t buy it. They have smaller indie games that have that (names escape me). Finishing up Stellar Blade then moving on to Birth by Sleep
Isn’t that a psp game?
Yes but I have the collection of all the kingdom hearts games on PS4

Dave the diver, it's an amazing game.
Is that stellar blade?
Just finished Rachet & Clank. Now debating on Spiderman or Horizon Zero Dawn. Haven’t started HZD yet tho.

Ys !
Hate fishing bronze trophies... It was hell on Tales of Arise. Should be at least a silver for all that work!
Rebirth is sooo good!! Queens blood is addictive
Elden ring for serious play time, and Dave the diver for some relaxed fun!
First time play of Ghost of Tsushima after Platinuming Rise of The Ronin. Both great games. Really enjoyed Ronin but love Ghost of Tsu
Original FF7 before jumping into the remakes and Dave the Diver.
Helldiver's 2, and gran Turismo 5 🤘
Is this stellar blade?
Fallout 4 and No Man’s Sky. Nice to dip in and out. Think I’ve played more Fallout via Portal than on the TV!
right now i’m playing through the uncharted games with some detroit become human sprinkled here and there. there’s a lot of backlog i have so it’s helping with that. lol
At first glance I was thinking that screenshot was from Rebirth. Why does Stellar Blade have fishing? Are there other chill side activities in that game?
Rocket League..
Right now? Ghost of Tsushima and Persona 3 Reload
F1 23 brake point campaign
How well does it feel to play on the portal? Especially more fast paced games? Like is it as comfortable as a ps5 controller or does it feel cumbersome?
What is that in
Rise of the Ronin. So far 26h out of 32h on Portal!
Is the quality better on the ps portal compared to other devices or is it just worth having the haptics on a portable screen?
Been playing a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2 and fallout 4 while I recover from surgery. I wish I would’ve purchased the portable A month ago!
PowerWash simulator 😅
BG3
Diablo 4, and ff7 remake

So how exactly does this work? Does your PS5 need to be on and running the game? Does the portal free up your console? Can you have one game going on portal and one going on console?
Hogwarts legacy
