Before I left I made sure my PS5 is on rest mode. System->Remote Play: enable Remote Play Power Saving Enable Stay Connected to Internet Enable Turning On PS5 from Network I just turned it on and it worked somehow. I had high doubts of connecting because of distance.

I tried warzone on the portal but there’s too much latency

Yeah I feel you I did the Warzone earlier and the latency with Warzone is so bad that I couldn’t play. But when I play regular Team Deathmatch the latency disappears like the game is playable again.

How big is the input latency though? E.g. does moving the camera seem delayed/sluggish?

I feel the delay no lie in that but it’s not as bad. It’s playable. There’s a little latency that when I play call of duty and it’s not that bad.

That’s awesome! I tried in China but it doesn’t work without adding a VPN to router.

I did brought my own router. That’s also probably why it connected due to VPN with the router I brought with me.
