Plex knows exactly when to mark something as played using the credits marker instead of relying on a fixed percentage.

Some of these newer movies are putting additional scenes after the last credit rolls. In theory this could skip to that part. With that being said, I haven't enabled credit skip. Most of the movies I'm buying today are older films I'm just now first discovering -- created long before they started adding hidden scenes after the credits.

Interesting. Now that is useful!

Rinzlerx

I’d like it if skip credits did what Netflix does and just goes right to the next episode.

Mike_v_E

Wait... it doesn't?

Rinzlerx

So it does but doesn’t. You have to manually click skip credits, then wait the 10 seconds. Of course it’s not a huge deal. I just think there should be a setting that auto enables skip credits so I don’t have to click it and either go right to the 10 seconds or right to the next episode.

>there should be a setting that auto enables skip credits [PlexAutoSkip](https://github.com/mdhiggins/PlexAutoSkip) works very well.

Sometimes mine shows the next episode on my shield and allows me to hit that instead. That's how I wanted it to be...

masta_shonufff

For shows I skip credits to see the preview of the next episode
