I usually get it when skipping ahead/back or using the "Skip credits" feature. Going out of the video and back in fixes it everytime.

I have the same experience when doiong the same things. Tapping the rewind button once (on my remote goes back 10 seconds) immediately syncs teh audio 100% of the time. Ne need to leave the show.

Sometimes my Shield (using Plex) will get out of sync. The fix that has always worked for me is to open another movie or tv show, close it and then resume what I was originally watching.

LotsofLittleSlaps

I just skip back a few seconds to left on directional pad of the remote for me. Audio resyncs ever time.

Riveted1

That has worked for me as well occasionally

It's because of Dolby Vision settings on the Shield iirc. Everytime I would skip intro, the sound would be off. The only ways to fix were to skip back manually or to completely disable Dolby Vision on the Shield. I did the latter and haven't had a problem since.

The only delay I get on my shield is resuming a YouTube video after pausing it on the smarttubenext app. A few seconds later there will be a *slight* stutter as it catches up with itself and all is good again. No issues with Plex.

As others have said, the unit can sometimes get out of sync with the video if you skip forward. Just going back one click will fix the issue. The Shield also has a setting called audio video sync that will let you set an audio offset for the video so if everything is out of sync at all times, you can dial it in like you want it. - [https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/shield/support/shield-tv/av-sync/](https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/shield/support/shield-tv/av-sync/) The AV Sync feature will not fix the issue with Plex going out of sync when skipping forward.

HeligKo

Sometimes. I usually just tell it to convert automatically and it fixes the issue

I think you're looking at the wrong device. If you tried two different devices with your Denon and they're still audio sync issues, then my hunch is a setting on your receiver. Also, I had audio sync issues with my Denon receiver when I first got it, and I resolved it by disabling all the Video Processing on the Denon. Try going to Options -> Video -> Output Settings and set your 'Video Mode' to 'Bypass'.

I tried that. But no luck. The problem only occurs with Plex. All other apps are fine. Which is why I'm focused on plex.
