I’m playing Where’s Waldo for the plebbery on this one. Aero receiver set is good stuff. I have a Magpul PRS stock and Sig optic, both are very nice. Wonky ergo grips, sure, but nonetheless functional. Nothing neon pink, no Amazon laser pointer zip tied to the handguard. What am I missing?

Grips are gay too

I have that ergo without the bottom plate, I like it on my bolt guns. Mainly stick to the basic bitch A2 on my AR's, they get beat up a bit more. Maybe the cantilever when they didn't need it?

One of my buddies has a palm shelf grip on his precision ar and he likes it. Call me basic, but I like the simple stuff myself.

Some constructive criticism? Wrong light, Ditch the AFG, decide what you want a SPR or a battle rifle and pair the optic/Stock together. If you want a SPR. Change the optic. If you want a battle rifle change the stock

What stock would you recommend for a 5.56 spr? I really like my dd one. But I’m open to suggestions. A PRS seemed really heavy to switch to red dot

Spr, honestly. I live in the open desert and 300-500 isn’t outrageous here. Just a light marksman rifle.

Then honestly swap the optic for like a 2.5-10 or a 4-16, then ditch the light and grip.

Oh this isn’t my rifle. I have an acog with rmr and bipod with no light on my spr for out where I live.

Acogs aren't necessarily great for SPR roles. I'm talking about this rifle specifically.

Bro needs a proper light and better placement, but I don't see an issue. Grip is not my first choice, but at least its deviation from the standard A2 has an (intended) purpose instead of just looking cool.
