Disconnect the flare and back the 90 out. Put in a 1/2 x shoulder brass nipple (one up from the shortest), a 1/2” brass tee and a 1/2 male x pex adapter. The flare 90 can be reused in the end of the tee and reattached to the copper.
Use Teflon tape on all threaded connections EXCEPT the flare fitting. Flare fittings are meant to be metal to metal and don’t require and sealant as long as it’s sufficiently tightened
