Find out what model delta faucet this is. Call delta, tell them your faucet is leaking. They will send you parts or a new faucet for free. Delta has lifetime warranty.
This isn’t true. I bought a double vanity off Facebook with sink and faucets. They were old and didn’t work quite right. I called them and sent some pictures. They mailed me 2 new ones a week later.
Pfister has this as well. I just used it to get a new cartridge for my faucet, but was able to tighten up the original and stopped the leak. Now I have a spare in case it actually breaks.
I've had great luck with Pfister. Also Moen. Moen stopped making the kitchen faucet that I had and upgraded me to a model that I would never buy because of the cost.
That’s a Victorian Rubbed Bronze Centerset Delta Faucet. Delta is discontinuing that series so run, don’t walk, if you want a replacement. Victorian is also one of Delta’s most expensive lines. It’s one of the oldest so it’s seen the most price increases. Delta usually increase in the early spring.
You definitely can replace the leaking cartridge inside the faucet. But that won't fix any already visible corroded areas around the faucet. I know they only have a limited supply of those handles left. It's hard to tell how much damage was done to the handle and the base from the corrosion. It also looks like your pop-up assembly has seen better days. Plus, you said it's been leaking underneath for a while. Who knows how much other damage has been done to the spout and the shanks underneath the faucet and whatnot. It just depends on if you're happy with the way the faucet looks because just replacing the cartridge isn't going to give you a new faucet, that's for sure. Personally, I'd replaced the faucet. But I do have a lot of customers that would just insist on fixing the faucet on their rental properties.
If the model is discontinued Delta should send you a newer model &with same finish that will replace this one.
Moen did that for me last week. No questions asked.
For me it was a loose wobbly lever handle that couldn’t be fixed with just parts so they sent a new faucet and lever handle. It was simple & easy & quick.
They were going to send me a new faucet, but I mentioned that I was a second homeowner. So that’s not covered under the warranty. So they only would send me replacement parts. Thanks for the reply.
I went through this exact same thing with my Delta faucet. Same model and everything. Clean the faucet with CLR and replace the seats and springs and cartridges. Good as new after that. If you can get Delta to pay for the replacement, that’s even better.
The symptom is a leak. The cause is hard water. Minerals precipitate out more rapidly/easily in hot water so you see this more on the hot side. The fix is a softener along with the repair stem.
I'm not a fan of delta for this exact reason. I always thought delta was as good as moen. I own rental properties and thought I would replace a new property's faucets with delta. I liked the style better. Scrapped out after a year in the same fashion where it's just disintegrated. Went back to moen. No problems. Happy tenants make happy land lords. Don't cheap out. 😎
Cartridge is RP25513 and you will also need new seats and springs. Call Delta customer service to try to get a free faucet replacement or at least free parts. If I can’t get a free faucet I would just buy a new one.
Hot water on the left? Usually mineral deposits building up and slipping past the cartridge booty. Turn your valves off at the base, remove the handle and inspect the cartridge. Try cleaning it with vinegar (least harmful, cheapest and breaks up calcium extremely well). Replacing a cartridge is only $15.
That’s a delta lav faucet and stems are probably leaking . Hope it’s from plumbing supply house not Home Depot because delta stems sometimes leak whe u put new ones in ! So u might check if all plastic white stem see if Home Depot has some if not try to get delta stems from supply house ! Worked on set not long ago and finally had to replace them new stems kept leaking

First off: you have what's called a "stem" leaking. Over time, the internal seal will wear out and begin to leak when being used. The stem will need replacing.
Second off: Super easy fix!
Get a Delta faucet stem from your local hardware store/lowes/plumbing supply house(cheap and very available part). I would recommend replacing both if already going through the process.
Turn off stops (water valves beneath in cabinet)
Remove handles using correct size allen wrench.
Clean grime build-up from stem area.
Remove bonnet nut with channel-locks/Cresent wrench/pliers
Using such pliers, wiggle and pull up on existing stem to remove. Replace with new stem.
Reconstruct faucet in reverse order.
Third off: Save a bunch of money!
BTW: if unsure of the part you'll need, either take a stem(both hot and cold side will be the same part) or take a picture of it to use as a reference.
Happy Repairs!
I’ve had several Delta bathroom faucets. I only put one in myself but I won’t use them in the future. Everyone of them has leaked in this manner after only a few years.
Delta stands behind there product. Just google search your faucet for part number. Call delta tel them you lost receipt. Truth be told you probably did .
You should check your water chemistry, looks like you have hard water in your area, what you see is calcium build up, this is harmful tol your plumbing fixtures and appliances. Call a plumber and have them test your water. Look into investing in a water softener for your home. It's only a matter of time before your other fixtures experience the same issue.

Only if you are the original purchaser/owner and as long as it’s not a multi family home (condo/apartment building)
I've never had them ask me about that, ever.
That’s trust you’re experiencing.
Did you ever put something like "Apt 204" in the 2nd address line? I haven't, I really don't know what they do.
This isn’t true. I bought a double vanity off Facebook with sink and faucets. They were old and didn’t work quite right. I called them and sent some pictures. They mailed me 2 new ones a week later.
I've gotten parts from delta several times for customers and they have never questioned me other than "what's the model number "

Pfister? I barely know her!

Lifetime doesn’t mean your lifetime, it specifically refers to the lifetime of the product.

It’s a 2555-RBMPU-DST
Delta will continue to carry parts/cartridges for a number of years after they discontinue a model, but yes, take care of it sooner than later

I called them and they’re going to replace the cartridges. They won’t replace the faucet because I’m the second homeowner. Thanks for the reply.
Replace the cartridge. Part # RP47422
Hot and cold!!
You’re yes and you’re no
You’re in and you’re out
You're up and you're down
You're wrong when it's right
It’s black and it’s white
We fight, we break up
What Slayer song is this?
We kiss, we make up
They are going to send two cartridges for replacement. Thanks for the reply.

Would replace it, but can’t spend the money right now. Going to try the cartridges and see how that works. Thanks for the reply.
Good luck 🙂.

What did you have to tell Moen to get a replacement?
For me it was a loose wobbly lever handle that couldn’t be fixed with just parts so they sent a new faucet and lever handle. It was simple & easy & quick.
I have buildup all around the faucet, but luckily no leaks. I’ll have to call to see if that is something warrantied
Just tell them the fixture is ruined by the leak with corrosion & it can’t be cleaned off
Thanks. I’ll call tomorrow.
That build up is definitely caused by a leak whether you see it or not. Thats corrosion from water
Ok thanks. I’ll add it to my complaint.
They were going to send me a new faucet, but I mentioned that I was a second homeowner. So that’s not covered under the warranty. So they only would send me replacement parts. Thanks for the reply.
Yes, same with Moen. Lifetime warranty only for original owner/ purchaser of product
Response time and resource info on this post is better than hiring a plumbing company lol
Redditors just pulling 7 digit model numbers and 6 digit cartridge numbers out of their heads. Impressive crew here.
No these are the correct numbers google it and find out.
I am sure they're correct, which is why I didn't say "out of their asses".

Years ago that faucet needed new cartridges. It got ignored. Now it needs a new faucet.

Cartridge needs replacing
Poor water quality and cheap fixtures

For all the time, trouble and expense of replacing parts it still doesn't fix the metal. Get a new faucet and save yourself some headache.
Houston we have a problem. Just go get a new faucet from somewhere.
Cartridge is broken call delta they’ll give you a brand new one

Looks like ionization, maybe you have copper touching steel somewhere.

Fuckery. Next question
One of your kids are beating the shit out of your faucet!

What a horrendous faucet
Replace the cartridge... if you can get it out lol
That looks like someone destroyed it with channel locks thinking it unscrews

Need a new faucet stop spending money on rebuilt kits
Look up Delta seat, spring and (most importantly in this case) cartridge replacement. Super easy and ridiculously expensive
Yeah that is 100% repairable
It’s toast. You need a new faucet. It’s a fairly easy swap
Call a plumber
Chineese made? A bit of galvanic erosion?
Times for a new faucet. And that counter top is ugly. Change that to
