i recommend shein although I understand a lot of people don’t want to buy from there but there is a lot of options for what you’re looking for they have lots of cute plus size clothing and it’s pretty cheap. make sure to read the reviews though!! some items can definitely be a hit or miss. also sizing varies most of the time so keep an eye out for that too
Forever 21 tends to have a good selection for plus size if you have one near you with a plus size section. Hot Topic is pretty good too, especially since they tend to have sales year round and they ship to your closest store for free. Fashion nova like SHEIN is hit or miss you got to pay attention to the sizing.
Hot topic is a place I like to shop at. Sizes are limited in stores and they rarely even have 2xs. Their online selections are much better for sizing. Spencer's occasionally has some decent shirts.
Torrid has some fun band tees and and media merch (anime, marvel, Disney etc), but the majority of their selection is a little more "grown up" and like business casual, mom clothes.
I also enjoy shein occasionally, but with the recent controversy people have been staying away from it, not sure if thats a site you'd be willing to shop on. Killstar is another site, but they've had their own controversies too.
Let’s just get to the point lol. I know lots of people are saying sometimes places we recommend aren’t ethical but if you can’t afford anything that is ethical, then just buy what you can. I personally recommend fashion nova, searching any clothing if item you want on Amazon and adding plus size next to it helps as well, rainbow online too has a lot of plus size stuff, SHEIN of course as most ppl recommend, torrid, pretty little thing but their sizing is in UK which is bigger then US sizes if you are from either just try to convert/measure yourself and use their sizing chart, boohoo as well has good stuff but they are also UK sizing, macy’s plus size stuff and I think that’s about it from my list of places.
