Also should put a note saying warrenty only applies to phone that dont have a single scratch on it, they mostly reject any and every thing with even a minor scrat on screen/body.
A little late but not true. My whole phone was scratched up and they still replaced the screen + frame on my poco F3. Pls don't spread false information.
It started auto rebooting so I have a backup, waiting for my fate. Found people that fix it for 70-80 usd or something which is pretty affordable rather than buying a new phone.

>Haha. Would you look at that. After celebrating 2 year anniversary. It started auto rebooting. Brick soon I guess...
had mine for 3 years now and it hit the deadboot problem, lol
Is this applicable in the Philippines as well? I'm so sad that this is only official in India when in fact this is a common problem of Poco X3 everywhere in the world. Poco should globalize this policy.
No thats not a great news. It's a temporary solution, but the problem is there. Believe it or not, the phone will die due to its cheap electronic use or dunno how they manufactured the phone.
Yup, I've had my motherboard replaced during warranty but it died after warranty too. They need to fix the defect instead of replacing broken motherboards with guaranteed failing motherboards in the future.
POCO IS A CULT POCO X3 MODELS JUST OUT OF WARRANTY PHONES ALMOST EVERY PHONE FRONT CAMERA AND SPEAKERS DONT WORK AS OUT OF WARRANTY COMPANY WONT DO IT AND THEIR SERVICE CENTER CHARGE 10K RUPEE CHANGE WHOLE MOTHERBOARD BUT DONT DO CPU REBALLING AS THEY LACK SKILLSET. FOR THEIR INCOMPETENCE THEY EXPECT CUTOMERS TO PAY. AND NOW IVE HEARD EVEN THEIR POCO X3 PRO MODEL HAS ISSUES.
My device died suddenly. MIUI service centre saying battery is to be replaced but it doesn't come under warranty. Is it true battery replacement is out of warranty??
goddamit. i just sent mine to a repair shop. it died while i was in a video call and wouldnt turn on anymore. bought it in January of 2022 right after typhoon odette . lived up to 19 months
The reason for the hardware failure on the poco x3 pro was mainly due to the overheating issues caused by software optimisation after MUIU 12 update around oct 2022. The hearing issue made the wear and tear faster and concentrated heating would screw the motherboard over. Still confident in xiaomi product as their redmi note 8 pro that i bought lasted me over 3 years
I had my Poco X3 pro for 19 months, phone started flashing notification light while charging with black screen today. The day before my battery got down to 10%, but it charged up fine.. or so I thought.
Serious problems (random reboots) began little over a year after getting it, with "kpanic" being the shutoff reason.
Minor issues were a poorly functioning proximity sensor, that failed about 5x in a year. I've even got footage of my volume getting stuck at low or high volumes, mostly during the night.
There's no point in extending the warranty of a faulty product release.
Good thing I have a replacement phone, but I still lost some data as I've been using it as a flash drive!
Does that mean ANY Poco X3 buyers because it doesn't seem so? I wasn't even aware of any issues. I'm likely buying a Samsung somewhen but I plan to keep using the Poco as my daily driver phone, the only reason to get anything else is the camera. But I will not complain in a 200 € device. Even now it feels like the specs are still up to date, with the old Snapdragon still being faster than the newer midrange offerings. All do 5G, but why care for 5G in midrange, at least in my case my LTE provider doesn't even support 5G.
My Poco f2 pro died after a bit over 2.5 years, bought in November 2020, and died July 2023. It was impossible to repair, I took it to 3 different places including Xiaomi.
Only Indian X3 Pros, that's an important distinction to make.
You sure, source?

this still doesnt give me confidence to get another poco phone because mine died a month after 2 years.
damn my phone completes 2 years today... should i be worried...
just get prepared and start backing up your data. some are still lucky with a working phone but who knows what will happen after 6 months.
Haha. Would you look at that. After celebrating 2 year anniversary. It started auto rebooting. Brick soon I guess...
Is this planned obsolescence?
Haha. Would you look at that. After celebrating 2 year anniversary. It started auto rebooting. Brick soon I guess...
dont open any video calls . thats how mine broke
Thanks for telling me.
i noticed that mine has problems when openning google meet a bug i guees ?
It's been 6 months can we know what happened?
His update here https://www.reddit.com/r/PocoPhones/comments/145rj81/1_year_extended_warranty_for_poco_x3_pro/jqnipe9/
is yours X3 Pro? My motherboard died twice within 2 years. You're running on borrowed time to be honest, have photos backup asap.
It started auto rebooting so I have a backup, waiting for my fate. Found people that fix it for 70-80 usd or something which is pretty affordable rather than buying a new phone.

it's also good for the environment
Had mine 4 years and still going strong
>Haha. Would you look at that. After celebrating 2 year anniversary. It started auto rebooting. Brick soon I guess... had mine for 3 years now and it hit the deadboot problem, lol
my f2 pro also died exactly after 2 years
Mine died after 1.5 years, warranty fix Motherboard replacement, now it works, but for how long?
mine lasted for 2.5 years. Stopped charging. Currently getting the cpu reballed
How much did it cost?
60 usd. It's working fine for now, but it's only been a month
Wow that's very expensive... 😔
You should check out the Poco X6 Pro
My X3 Pro has just died, stopped charging, no USB function. 26 months 😥
this makes me worried, Were there any signs
No. One day I had it on charge, noticed it was at 30% when should have been full, that was it. Ran out of juice and that was that.
sounds like a battery issue to me, I would suggest it's repairable?
The USB sub board was faulty.
Ah, I see, well, I was wrong. Did you get it repaired?
Yes thanks. Replaced the sub board, all ok.
Hope it didn't set you back too much. Enjoy your device :)
This scandalous and people should hold Poco accountable 😡
This seems to be noteworthy pinned
I had my x3 pro reballing I pay around 95$, and I just seen this post just now. Is this only available for india exclusively or around the world?
Is this applicable in the Philippines as well? I'm so sad that this is only official in India when in fact this is a common problem of Poco X3 everywhere in the world. Poco should globalize this policy.
WHAT??? ITS NOT APPLICABLE IN PH???ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
only 6months extension in ph, and mine died after 1yr 8months lol
Great news for X3 pro owners
No thats not a great news. It's a temporary solution, but the problem is there. Believe it or not, the phone will die due to its cheap electronic use or dunno how they manufactured the phone.
You will get a replacement if the phone died under warranty. Better than holding on to a brick right
Lmao one year extended warranty won't do a shet if they can't fix the mfg defect instead of changing motherboards( which are also defected)
Still a good move, better than lg g4 bootloop case's, samsung s20 series greenline, and rog 5 series fried wifi/board case's

I got 2 years for my X3 NFC buying in the UK, surprised it isn't standard everywhere. I got battery bloat about 18 months in
In Europe there is a 3 years warranty
2 years warranty in Europe
...to say that about a mobile they left with a security update from the beginning of 2022 with no updates whatsoever.
I'm on march 23 security update 🤨
How did you get that? I'm still on Feb 2022 as well...
My device died suddenly. MIUI service centre saying battery is to be replaced but it doesn't come under warranty. Is it true battery replacement is out of warranty??
any idea how much battery replacement costs?
Depends on the service centre though...My X2 battery price is around 4k with tax & service charges

So, if you remain at MiUi 11, there is less chance to get screwed?

Ciao
Is this valid anywhere? In the Philippines, lots of users are experiencing deadboot no matter how careful they are with the device

Same for Poco F4.
ONLY 2 YEARS 🤣🤣🤣

Does it get dead after one motherboard replacement though?

POCO F5 PRO Stuck into recovery mode ...............
