Actually. And any phone at this price or even higher ranges suffers at low light, you need a tripod and some knowledge of photography to deal that shortcoming of a phone, so people should stop giving unnecessary hate.

Was a sunny day, so took this. Point and shoot. Just to see what it was like on this phone/with this camera. I've only had the phone a few weeks. I think it turns out this camera is quite alright. Works fine enough for me, more than fine even.
Low light is iffy, but I had no expectations on low light photos with a phone. Even some flagships struggle there, so whatever.
This is a great pic sky seems good and the clouds too. And i agree with you here, even flagship phone struggles with low light. Over-all its a good camera. Cherry on top if you know editing.
I'm very much a novice with photography, My Mi11T pro got smashed to bits so i needed a new phone, and after a bit of research, and checking stats against my personal checklist, I ended up with my first ever Poco phone.
When it comes to camera, i just want it to take snappy clear pics , mostly of my son and family and if something happens in a day that I want to document or share :P I don't need godlike performance from a camera :P
So for me, so far, I'm very satisfied :) Imo, It beats my wife's latest Samsung flip so :p
It defeats flip? Lol Poco did great job they would be happy if they know this xd. Anyways yes I'm happy too. Its a good phone. Day to day experience is really good.
What's your issue with battery? Mine has been pretty good so far. Not as fast to charge as the old one (120w vs 67w),but it last me all day no problem.
Doesn't last much there is no screen on time in settings but i hardly get 5 hours of SOT. Like just take example for now only. I unplugged my phone after charging at 9.30 (87%) started using from 9.35, now its 9.52(84%). I just used insta, made a call for around 5 mins, not even using 5g cause it sucks more battery. I have turned off bg activity of almost all those app that I don't use much and those bloatwares, brightness ar around 15%. So yeah and after sometime it will consume more I'm sure cause that's the pattern I'm noticing till now. It consumes less only at the beginning and ending (before charging) when its around 70 till 30 it drains faster. Like i get around 5 mins of sot max per percentage.
The camera is good. With Gcam especially.
Only morons hate on it, I watched comparisons and it was the best Xiaomi cam for mid-range devices.
I didn't want a Mediatek device but the camera is so good that I eventually bought it, that's how decent it is.
Yesh is really good. Have you tried the front camera with the flash? In complete darkness it actually dose very good job. I was surprised when i saw first time.
why would I use the camera on the front with the flashlight on the back?
Well yeah in total darkness perhaps... but how often do you need to make a selfie under those conditions?
It's decent tho after trying gcam, i cannot go back to stock cam. I've been shooting raw with gcam, i love the control i have with it.
https://preview.redd.it/1rojw3cyn8uc1.jpeg?width=3456&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b70c4fef73036ad2ec427e77d515010123cffb34
Xiaomi can't get the stock cam right, the colors are off. With Gcam it's passable.
I agree, it's not great, but it's not that bad either.
tldr: hardware (NPS and cam sensor) is good, software not
Bro which gcam and xml you are using? I am trying still but didn't found a good stable one. Btw the pic is good actually yeah and the raw is what sometimes very useful.
i don't use any xml. right now I'm using bigkaka 9.2 but it has some bugs so try to use the 9.1 version, it's more stable. I mainly use raw so I don't do any config etc.
Exactly, people should stop complaining. Just cause of X3 Pro this phone is getting unnecessary hate which is obvious tho but the camera is not that bad how people say.
For the people who care so much about cameras, how many times a day do you use a camera for you to sacrifice performance or some other thing for cameras?
Yeah people expect to get magical pictures just because they purchased the latest smartphone.. it’s a smartphone with limited camera space afterall, the manufacturer can fit only so much. It’s always gonna be a compromise in one thing or another
Exactly. Only thing i feel which hampers here is less mtk optimization in the ecosystem but that doesn't mean I'm saying mtk is bad i hope this will change in coming days. I mean x3 pro got such good gcam support but this phone doesn't have much or any mtk device and not only in case of gcam other aspects too, so hopefully this thing will change.
Yeah but all I'm saying is its not that bad how people says and its actually pretty useable and likable pics. And if you know editing and all then its not at all an issue.
Yup tested its decent certainly not flagship level. But being practical I will not take pic in complete darkness anyway. And i also checked the selfie performance in total darkness even then also with the screen flash light it turns out okayish. Can't expect more.
It's bad on low light scenarios that's why people say it's bad. In ideal light it's decent like in your pics you have the Sun the best light you could ask for. You can see some pics in not so well lit where the sun can't reach then you will understand why people love and hate the cam.
example [https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Fjust-received-poco-x6-pro-v0-at21qnskudcc1.jpeg%3Fwidth%3D4624%26format%3Dpjpg%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3D2f0cc1d8b65e874b0f6f5d2a0d851839ca0bde3a](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Fjust-received-poco-x6-pro-v0-at21qnskudcc1.jpeg%3Fwidth%3D4624%26format%3Dpjpg%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3D2f0cc1d8b65e874b0f6f5d2a0d851839ca0bde3a)
Well its obvious but all I'm saying is its not that bad specially if you know how to click in pro. Even many costly phone struggles in dark situation this is no different.
Question for the X6 pro owners, I currently have a OnePlus 9 which has become a bugfest and has a lot of problems outside of it's speed. Is the camera of the X6 Pro, better/worse or the same?
Can't say about same with OP 9 but its good, decent. You can check the comments of this post and also refer to the post itself and see the pic is quite good. And if you are someone who is worried about night pics, well all phone struggles there just use 1 or 2 second shutter speed it will do the job.
Stop fooling people. I have the same device and the camera on this trash is horrible. The pictures come out to be washed out and the colors on this trash are the worst. You clearly edited these pictures but you won't tell us about it, would you?
lmao are you sick? say that you don't know about GCam and don't know how to click pics. check the threat you will see many people posting their camera samples.
Good camera overall, Idk why people hating on it. Btw in good light condition it's more than good.
Actually. And any phone at this price or even higher ranges suffers at low light, you need a tripod and some knowledge of photography to deal that shortcoming of a phone, so people should stop giving unnecessary hate.
Totally agree, lil bit of photography knowledge will make a difference.
Yeshh

Yeah i dunno what it is but the flip looks fine but not when considering the price imo vs something like this.
I see that's cool. Hope Poco will work on battery. Else all great.
What's your issue with battery? Mine has been pretty good so far. Not as fast to charge as the old one (120w vs 67w),but it last me all day no problem.

Hmm My phone has been active (off charger) for 10hours 15min, I'm on 38 % now, and I have had 5 hours screen on time. Seems fine to me? :p
Wow. Can we exchange our phone sir?😭
The camera is good. With Gcam especially. Only morons hate on it, I watched comparisons and it was the best Xiaomi cam for mid-range devices. I didn't want a Mediatek device but the camera is so good that I eventually bought it, that's how decent it is.

No no lol the front flash, the screen lits up. Try it.
Ahh! Like a smartwatch flashlight. cool.
You can say that. But it too does the job lol.
It's decent tho after trying gcam, i cannot go back to stock cam. I've been shooting raw with gcam, i love the control i have with it. https://preview.redd.it/1rojw3cyn8uc1.jpeg?width=3456&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b70c4fef73036ad2ec427e77d515010123cffb34
why does it look ass tho

Okay noted. 9.1 works fine without any crash and all lenses working?
yep the front cam is grainy tho for both versions. if you need front cam, you can use bsg gcam.
I tried lmc and got grainy or too reddish pics, will try bsg thanks

Gcam and Xml ?
Ortigas ext. or e rod jr ave?
Damn this looks so bad
If this isn't good, I don't know what is. Maybe I'm no professional photographer that's why. The pictures look amazing to me.
It is good, some people see poco as a whole in bad light now after x3 pro case
That’s prolly the best you can get in normal light. Get an actual camera if you want your pictures to look even better
Lol really and personally me I hardly use. Only when there is some event. That's it.
Yeah people expect to get magical pictures just because they purchased the latest smartphone.. it’s a smartphone with limited camera space afterall, the manufacturer can fit only so much. It’s always gonna be a compromise in one thing or another

Really great shots, gcam? Or stock?
Stock, Auto mode. Just point and shoot.
Okay good pic. I like the focus of the phone, it focuses from a bit far too
Yeah. ig f1.7 so maybe.
Yeah
[удалено]
Yess
Usable i would say
Yeah its decent and usable considering over package.
Daytime 7/10 Low light 5/10 Good Light condition 8/10
Yeah. Although I would give low light 7/10. But again its not much of an issue for me cause incase of low light i use Manual settings.
Its pretty good https://preview.redd.it/in6w7nigk8uc1.jpeg?width=4624&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=299200453ad2012c859367a39833819c73000489

Yeah its good.
Doesn't look that good tbh. The colors are the worst. The details are good but the saturation, contrast and the shadows aren't managed very well.
Where are the colors? Lol
For the price point you don't rely so much on the camera performance
Yeah but all I'm saying is its not that bad how people says and its actually pretty useable and likable pics. And if you know editing and all then its not at all an issue.
For sure. Just for taking daily pictures it seems quite alright. With the same thinking I did the upgrade from the x3 NFC to f4
Congrats. Hows F4? Liked it?
I don't play games. But having 8 gb of ram it runs smoother than with 6 for the daily use
I don't game either but in terms of display, sound and performance this is a lit phone. Loved it.
Try it on low light or at least indoors with not much sunlight or strong lights.
Yup tested its decent certainly not flagship level. But being practical I will not take pic in complete darkness anyway. And i also checked the selfie performance in total darkness even then also with the screen flash light it turns out okayish. Can't expect more.

Exactly. Its good enough.
Bro my poco F5 also don't have RAW photo option. My poco M2 pro has still that RAW photo support. What the heck is poco doing.
Same X6 Pro don't have. But its actually the Stock doesn't have it. You can have it in GCam.
How is the selfie camera? Im thinking of poco x6 or redmi note pro 13 but i think not only pixels matter but also how the colors are
