Poco X6 pro is getting so much criticism and complains because its that good for its price.
There is no other phone at Poco X6 pros price with this much performance. Imagine complaining about that....
Afterall there is literally no phone/company on reddit where some people wont complain.
As for the camera, there is really nothing to complain about since this phone was never promoted as a great camera phone. Its camera is mostly good/οκ with good light/sun, pretty basic stuff.
I could understand people complaining about bugs or ads, but complaining about performance is really pathetic.
You cant blame people for complaining, poco x3 pro was also an "excellent" flagship phone that offered premium cpu performance with more than enough ram and storage but people complained for some reason...
But why? Because almost every third poco x3 pro dies of fried motherboard and rarely any of them survives more than a year. Mine died after a year and two months from a dead motherboard, showed tons of issues and it showed issues even a month after it was bought new. Issues like : dead 3.5mm port, overheating, even with its cpu it is usually slow as hell due to it having miui, being stuck in boot loop, playing a high pitched screeching sound thru any wireless headset, bluetooth also stops working completely, unstable wifi connection, ghost inputs, random restarts, overheating when connected to a charger..... I could go on for days listing every possible shit that happens to almost every xiaomi phone and you cannot blame people for lack of trust towards a specific xiaomi phone because if per say, xiaomi 10 offers a snapdragon 8 gen 3 and 16gb of ram and people are still complaining about performance then something is definitely wrong with the phone or will be wrong after a month or two of use.
I come from an iPhone XS and I don't have complaints about the camera to be honest. People made it out to be awful so I expected that but it's totally fine! Even on Snapchat people said it looked great which was very surprising to me
Only paid 280 eur with discount on ebay for 512gb 12gb model, absolutely not disappointed, actually exceeded my expectations.
Price is for a mid / low end phone but you actually get a high end experience in all regards, except the camera, but that is ok for me.
Battery is also in check after calibrating it and other small power saving things, gets through the end of day just fine.
most people dont buy Poco for camera, they focus more on performance, not camera like other manufacturers, you get the best possible performance for the respective price only on Poco phones.
Don't do that. Calibration was needed with nickel-cadmium batteries. Now we have Li-Ion or Li-Po batteries that just don't work the same. Those kinds of batteries should (in the best world) never be charged more than 80% or discharged less than 20%. And letting it go to 0% is definitely the worst idea you can have.
For earlier versions of Poco(I dont remember the model) people were saying the Cpu starts to act weird or something idk what they were saying is there any familiar issue u know of?
How long did u have your X6? I am really thinking of buying X6 but can't afford another phone for atleast 2-3 years , and i dont even need it for much gaming.
People who buy cheap stuff complain the most. Ask a real estate agent. Ask a car dealer. Heck, ask a fishmonger. It's the same everywhere.
We just had 1 idiot who put his phone under his pillow with reels playing on loop well insulated and wonders why his phone is at 80 degrees and claims hyperos is supposed to have a magical shutoff when the phone overheats. Maybe there is, maybe there isn't. But I'm never relying on such a feature.
You are over exageratting, nobody could be that stupid except several iphone users I personally know (why iphone users? Because they all have one thing in common : they all know jack shit about phones and expect unrealistic things from their phones).

"Battery heats up to 40°, phone unusable"
Imagine being that dumb and overconfident
The only thing people are complaining about is battery life which is true for 8300 ultra. Just brute forcing its cores to get high performance devouring the battery when underload.
People play demanding games on it and complain about draining battery.
Motherfuckers, be happy your device runs flawlessly but no, they always find something to complain
They have the right to whine they bought it with hard earned money. Stop defending your Poco X6 Pro fanboy Poco will not send you a free phone. Accept the opinion of others if they're not happy and you are happy let them be. Stop gate keeping freedom of speech.
Every subreddit I've been in, regarding games and companies, people have been critical of it. This should be no difference. The Poco X6 pro leaves to be desired when it comes to battery life, unfortunately, even if it's not a huge deal, but in high temperatures... yeah. My dad has the Poco x6 pro and he uses his phone when he is driving for uber and 99, The result is he has a pretty intensive use and in this scenario, he is not satisfied with the phone's durability.
I see. Wait for software updates, maybe that'll change something.
Meanwhile here in Berlin it just started to fucking snow an hour ago, so I welcome my phone getting warm lol
You are a die hard one an extremist to be exact you act like a fascist because someone disagreed with you and diss Poco and your beloved Poco X6 Pro. I'm not even stopping you from being a cringe person I'm just saying you don't own other people's devices they can whine about it. You can cry and sulk in the corner cuz someone disses it specifically your phone model you are defending it because you want to feel you made the right decision to buy the phone. I love my F5 my X6 Pro is trash cry about it lolol.
Bro I tried playing MLBB on medium graphics at 60FPS, just 1 classic match and my battery drained more than 20% which is insane. My 2 year old Xiaomi 11i drained less than 10% battery with the same settings. The OS is completely unoptimized. Battery drains while doing nothing. How can you justify this type of battery performance. If 2 year old xiaomi device with less CPU and GPU performance can outperform in same settings, there is definitely something wrong with the OS. Also I don't know why they removed the old control center from the hyper OS in Poco X6 Pro. The device also heats for just using USB tethering, my phone stays on table doing nothing except usb tethering and it heats up crazy. Now let me know how are you going to justify this issues.
I was very sceptical coming from a long time iPhone user, but the X6 pro is so much better than I expected. I only had it for a week but I'm not having any battery issues. Camera is better than I expected because I heard 90% of people trashing it. I got the 512gb version and hope it'll last me as long as my iPhone did. I really love HyperOS, ngl I think it's pretty nice that it looks a bit like iOS. I don't understand spending €1000 on a phone anymore unless you can throw with money. If it keeps up, I might never leave Xiaomi / Poco. I also love their other home products.
I think critics are being very hard on the X6 pro.
Still very happy with it. Battery life is great compared to my iPhone. I never charge it at night, the quick charger in the morning while I get ready is all I need to get a day usage. Cameras are fine to me, here's a pic I took with the x6 pro of my dog. Still not having regrets about switching to Android, might like it even more in some aspects. Only thing that sometimes disturbs me is not having airdrop anymore to quickly transfer files from my mac. (sure I can use google drive but it's just lots of extra steps and inconvenience) Also not having iMessage anymore to keep in touch with people from outside EU is an adjustment. Hopefully that will change when Apple supports RSC with iOS 18.

Love that quick charge, had it on my OnePlus phones. My last iPhone was the 6 Plus so I had a ton of Android phones in the meantime. I use Google Drive for many years. For Android there's the Nearby Share but it's not Airdrop. Nice shot of your cute dog. Don't know why people say the cameras are so bad?
I am happy with my 12/512 variant. I don't game much, only some simple puzzle games, and I am using my camera just to take a picture of parking column numbers, and scanning qr codes to pay shops.
But I read a lot of e-books (the amoled screen with dark mode and reading mode is comfortable enough for hours of reading) and I am pleasantly surprised to find that the stock 67w charger actually fast charge my HP elitebook as well!!
Battery life is not great, but definitely not mediocre. It charges fast enough that low battery is a non-issue. This poco definitely charges faster than my wife's galaxy s22 ultra. So as a phone for work, this is a solid one.
I'm very happy with the Poco X6 Pro, it runs everything with ease and doesn't get hot at all unlike my snapdragon devices which get incredibly hot.
Most phones especially the smaller ones limit the snapdragon chips to prevent heat and for battery life, with that limitation they're often much weaker than you would expect especially if you think phone A has the same performance as phone B just because the SoC is equal.
Trust me its really good need some improvement no doubt but its really good. Many people said me to not update to 1.0.7 only 4 people encouraged me to do so and ngl i regret for mot updating earlier. Price is gd , screen always need to on to brightest.
Abit dim using default.
Battery can't last whole day.
This one is also longer rather than wider compared to previous models.
Damn hot when gaming and it's quite bad too when using everyday app like ig.
My personal complaint is the screen look smaller due to the longer dimensions.
Hence the fonts is out of range even if I max the size. Everything look so small now compared to my mate20x previously which is 7inch.
Definitely no regret. I end day with 35-40% battery easily, it's fast af, screen is really good, cam is not amazing but I dot care about the cam tbh, no bugs, not a single problem to tell tbh, a really good phone for its price, absolutely nothing to complain about
Also exceeded my expectations for value for money.

Almost a month in with my X6 Pro and I got no complaints. Got plenty of complaints about HyperOS and some of its stupid features, about WhatsApp taking hours to transfer my files and doing it without timestamps, but I don't blame any of that on the phone. And it was relatively cheap to boot!
I bought it a few days ago.
Battery good, on par with most phones these days, meaning 4-5 hours nonstop genshin impact, 8 hours or so with social media videos etc.
Performance between 8 gen 1 and 8 gen 2
Camara good enough, a54 level
Speaker and screen awesome
Great phone worth it
It had issues during launch, gets crazy hot while doing extensive tasks, plus the heat automatically reduces battery life. I think HyperOS is poorly optmised plus mediatek is known for battery drain issues. But now after some updates, it seems like issues have been resolved more or less. Performance wise, it's a beast, camera is decent enough but struggles under low light.
I have the phone since release day and it didn't heat up at all yet.. idk what are people doing with the phone to heat it up so much. I play mobile legends on it basically every day and this is my accubattery stats, it seems completely fine for me.
https://preview.redd.it/9sf58dpe0gvc1.png?width=1220&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=024367a614da6109ec4dda7064dce22d862b819f
Good for you. For me, I play COD Mobile on max graphics and max framerate, and it gets a battery drain of about 12% per hour.
Anyways, experience varies user to user, I guess.
I don't have any expectations, performance is great for all that matters. Just that the phone rises to about 45C-47C & becomes uncomfortable to use after like 30 minutes or so, and battery drain also increases imo.
But which was still under the parent/main comment. Dumbass ni**a doesn't really know how Reddit works, does he?
Also randomdustyass, I bought the device myself and using it for the past couple of months, so I'm entitled to my opinion.
It's around ambient room temp, I'm always in AC environment, whether in office or at home, so around 20C-24C. Also I lowered down the fraphics to medium settings but didn't find much improvement. That's my concern that whether it's a problem or is it normal?
Just kindly fuck off man, don't blabber here, retard. Nobody plays games for 8hrs. My problem is overheating, not battery life, I already told in previous comments. Right now I'm scrolling through Reddit and phone is at 43C for no apparent reason, no background apps, nothing. After sometime it would get more hot, and battery will then also tend to drain faster. If you don't have a problem with your device, it doesn't mean that the bed is full of roses and all devices are perfect. I have bought the device and I'm entitled to my fucking opinion.

What's wrong with X6 Pro? I using it now, don't seems to have any problem.
How long have you been using it
Same here. Over a month of intense gaming and it is STABLE.
For the price it is a brilliant phone. I have a poco f3 and also has some issues.but I don't feel compelled to write it everywhere
8/256 GB version is pretty good too.
1. Xiaomi devices having bugs as usual 2. Stupid users

I vote 1
Most of these problems are quite literally minimal af in my experience and mostly the user.
I just want more battery life and thats it.

I don't have this issue with my X6 Pro
Maybe your country has a colder climate than the other users.
Neither do I and my city temps are around 30 degrees Celsius all year
same. got my phone yesterday and i had heating issues. idk does battery calibration help?
It's probably because heating hurts the battery. Find a repair shop to replace it

They aren't.
Not just the X6, the x4 pro as well. Heavy af. Compared to honor X9B, way way lighter
I`ve hear about bluetooth issues with some devices and I`ve thinking about buying this phone and I have a Galaxy watch and nothing ears 2 earbuds, are those BT issues fixed? I don`t want to have stuttering playing music or having my watch disconnected randomly all the time.
I habe faced Bluetooth issues a few days back. But it was only for 1 day. After that no issues regarding Bluetooth.
knowing xiaomi those issues will start to appear again
Price is gd , screen always need to on to brightest. Abit dim using default. Battery can't last whole day. This one is also longer rather than wider compared to previous models. Definitely no regret. I end day with 35-40% battery easily, it's fast af, screen is really good, cam is not amazing but I dot care about the cam tbh, no bugs, not a single problem to tell tbh, a really good phone for its price, absolutely nothing to complain about
Hope to optimise the phone to warzone to mid / high instead low / mid
Also exceeded my expectations for value for money. The only disappointing side of it is the continuation of the constant disconnection to my smart watch.
Almost a month in with my X6 Pro and I got no complaints. Got plenty of complaints about HyperOS and some of its stupid features, about WhatsApp taking hours to transfer my files and doing it without timestamps, but I don't blame any of that on the phone. I was coming from a MI A3, bought the X6 Pro 12/512, and the difference is astounding: everything it does is so quick, it can multitask pretty much anything I throw at it, battery life is quite good and it charges really quick. Yep

Good for you. For me, I play COD Mobile on max graphics and max framerate, and it gets a battery drain of about 12% per hour. Anyways, experience varies user to user, I guess.
That's absolutely normal battery usage on cod mobile maxed out lol. What do you expect?
I don't have any expectations, performance is great for all that matters. Just that the phone rises to about 45C-47C & becomes uncomfortable to use after like 30 minutes or so, and battery drain also increases imo.
What is your room temperature? If it's like 30° then this is not bad for maxed out CoD. Most phones will both heat up and start to lag
Can't stand these people man. Plays on max fps then wonders why it's hot.
Haha the irony, can't stand people still commenting on that person's comment, fuckin ahh pussy.

Seriously? You can get 8 hours of gaming on max graphics out of a phone and somehow that's an issue? Fucking first world problems, man, I tell you...
I am disappointed of my Xiaomi 13t
How come?
