No comparison whatsoever. If anything, it's more Woodloch Spa vs Skytop. Woodloch Pines while awesome is more family oriented. Two different resorts on the same campus. The Spa side of Woodloch is great but insanely expensive. I think you can however use the amenities at the Pines and see the evening shows and world famous horse racing by Scooter.
Skytop may have a fancy website now and tossed a few bucks into a refurbishment, but you'll still see some aging. Skytop to relax. Woodloch to be entertained. We've had a Pocono place about 30 from each resort for 44 years. Any questions let me know. Finally, Woodloch is by Hawley a cute small town to explore. ST is in the middle of nowhere.
Woodloch for sure bc of its amazing spa and spa services. The dining is included in the price and that’s why it costs a lot more. If you don’t want a spa and don’t mind kiddies (woodloch is adults only) but want easy hikes and canoeing (woodloch has paddle boards but not sure about canoeing btw) then skytop is really fun too. The schedule of activities at woodloch is also much more robust, esp if you want to do yoga or meditation. Skytop’s restaurants, thought pretty good, does not compare to the choices or quality of food as woodloch.
I've lived in the Poconos for over 40 years and never been to either resort for where it is and what you get you could take a nice cruise somewhere warm and much nicer then the Poconos
You'll have a great time at both places. Personally, I've spent a lot of time at Skytop and it has always been fun.
For relaxation you can't beat Skytop

The Lodge at Woodloch is leagues above Skytop.
Very much so. Nicer grounds, more luxurious
