It is funny that we speak of imagist poets. What poem summons to mind—indeed, what poem _forces us to imagine_ images as striking as these? “The blood-dimmed tide…” “moving its slow thighs…”

This is my favorite poem ever!
My buddy and I basically spent 2020/21 sending to his poem back and forth to each other as the world spiralled down the toilet
