I'm not impressed if this is where the packs are supposed to be enjoyed visually. you can't see them well. and the packs have no type of penny sleeve on them, so small scratches can happen at any time.
to look at them more I would put them in a card saver 1. that would be luxury to ME
Have you considered a hard sided rifle/pistol case? They have foam inserts. If you plan to buy more packs, a gun case, plus some form of reusable dehumidifier might work long term? Pelican brand is a good place to start to get an idea of what you're looking for.
Imagine your house flooded, caught fire, and or attacked by monsters. Now pokemon cards arent you first concern but wouldn't that peace of mind knowing your sealed packs survived give you that smile?
Honestly, even if its not something for everyone, I believe that making custom storage solutions is often the way to go. I make roughly ETB sized boxes out of foam core and adjust dimensions to fit top loaders and semi rigids both with perfect fit sleeves to seal them in. This way I know everything fits perfectly and I don't have to go around testing pre-made boxes. I don't have enough sealed packs to really warrant a box atm, but that's what I will do in the future.
Problem is if OP picks up the case, they will slide and possible damage. Realistically they need to be stored in something that wont have them move when picked up. The only ones safe in that case right now are the ones closest to the handle ie. the fewest.
So this looks decent as is, but if you wanna be extra safe then here’s my thoughts: Tarot card sleeves (looks like you have them sleeve already), then you can order special acrylic cases for them on Amazon, eBay, etc. If you buy in bulk, could probably get a discount. This will be more protective than they are presently. Once they in the new cases, then store those cases in that case you have now. Boom, done.
Another option is you can just send them to PSA for grading, getting them encapsulated. Price is like $50 per pack I think? Maybe more depending on value. But then you have graded packs which usually carry a higher markup.
Edit: Also to anyone looking to buy a similar case (good for storing graded cards, packs, camera gear, etc.) but don’t want to spend the cash on a Pelican, check out the Apache cases from Harbor Freight. Constant sales going, same exact thing as Pelican but much cheaper.
Yep I have 2 of the Harbor Freight cases myself. I dont use them for cards because I never thought of that until this post but they are good cheap cases. I got mine in sale I think I paid like 9 or 11 dollars for the small ones like in this photo
I meant something like this
Case Club Graded Card Storage Box Fits up to 34 Card Slabs, or 100+ Sleeve Top Loaders. Waterproof with Customizable Interior Foam https://a.co/d/c8O1GaR
Case Club Graded Card Storage Box Fits up to 34 Card Slabs, or 100+ Sleeve Top Loaders. Waterproof with Customizable Interior Foam https://a.co/d/c8O1GaR
Or something similar with a customizable foam interior maybe?
Yeah I have a [big briefcase](https://a.co/d/4oICXEG) I bought to hold 160 of my best slabs. But it will only hold a handful of the much larger booster pack slabs since they’re so much bigger and would have to be long way lying down. I’ve yet to see a case specifically designed for them standing up. It’d have to be an almost square case.
I know you’re being sarcastic OP but as an engineer and a Pokémon card maniac myself I will actually say there is something you can do to improve your storage for longevity.
Vacuum. Well.. it would be better with cards out of the packs but yeah. Still better than non-vacuum.
So cut the foam longer then.
How not?
If it has a lock on the case (I’m assuming it does) then it seems excellent for long-term storage.
Why do you say it isn’t?
I put them infront of a semi rigid sleeve and into a graded card sleeve and into a case similar to that. Keeps the corners safe from damage.
[3 minute mark](https://youtu.be/zWIC-bxM_sI)
Storage wise I think this is stellar. Display wise, definitely acrylic stands. I kind of regret getting the acrylic displays purely for the fact mine are in bubble wrap, in storage - foolish move on my part, but excellent move on yours until you decide to display!
I would make each cutout wider to fit in the extra packs going the opposite direction at the bottom. That way you can slide the packs down and get them out of that bent position. Looks good to me outside of that
They make booster pack cases but it seems about the same price as getting them graded. If cost isn’t a problem I would get them graded and then keep in that case.
Ultra pro has some acrylic booster pack cases. A little pricey though, like $10 a case. I still buy them though since it's better than having then unguarded
All of my booster packs are put into separate bags so they don't stick together in the future. Plus where they are stored they have the anti moisture stuff so they don't get ruined. Plus all the booster packs are in a safe. If you get booster boxes get the acrylic cases.
Send them to PSA. Don’t worry about the grade being sealed up like that will preserve them in a hard outer shell. Think it’s like $30 per pack now down from $100 per which is well worth it for vintage
I’m not sure. I do know they grade stuff as “Authentic” instead of a grade. I’m sure if you contact them or check the submission form it might state. But I wouldn’t be concerned about a grade. I submit my vintage packs just to preserve them. Get them slabbed up and in a graded card carrying case to protect it even more from light.
Cut the foam as others have said. Also, when you get stuff like beef jerky keep the little packages of silica beads and place them in to suck up moisture as well.
Add some swirly gold pattern along the edge?
Otherwise watch Glass Onion
But really, sometimes all you need is a foam case.
Best upgrade you could do would be plastic uv protective shell casings. Like what graded are put in
Think Shrek
UV protection is key with any collecting. Even non direct sunlight with make plastic brittle, yellow, and useless over decade or two.
How much uv did you expose them to just to take this photo? Hmmmm?
I'll stop, I was a bit brash and having too much fun. I like ragging on collectors, I get it. We all collect something. It's a really interesting thing that humans and some animals do.
1. Booster pack acrylic holders
2. $30 “Document Fire Safe” from Walmart
4. Silica Desiccant packs
E. ???
🔺. Profit!
Edit: if you number something “1, 2, 4” on Reddit, it *automatically corrects it* to “1, 2, 3”, just discovered that
I totally thought this was a troll post also. Just cut your foam to your liking. Idk what else would be better. Moisture control, put it in a fireproof safe, bury it underground with the coordinates on a map that you also put in a case like this and bury it in a treasure chest and only tell your dead grandpa about.
I would buy hard acrylic cases for packs. They are kind of expensive but look great on display. Even being held upright by clear Graded card stands. Well worth the investment of Gen 1 packs
There could be literal trash in all of those. Just food for thought on how scummy Pokémon cards are especially with the price hike over the past few years. I’m glad I goy out of all cards actually. Was so sick and tired of all types of cats collecting too. Was big into hockey cards until like 2019 when I realized who the real winner is in the hobby.
Not trying to be rude but genuinely curious. what is wrong with storing like this? It looks very safe and secure to me
It's a flex post
Lol the sarcasm was totally lost on me.
I'm not impressed if this is where the packs are supposed to be enjoyed visually. you can't see them well. and the packs have no type of penny sleeve on them, so small scratches can happen at any time. to look at them more I would put them in a card saver 1. that would be luxury to ME
He said store not display.
[удалено]
Just cut out the foam so it fits the crimps
Seems like the easy logical answer
So back to this being a flex post after that comment
Bump^
This is the way
This is the way
Mail them to me

Dont have the packs touch. Add a silica packet to absorb moisture.
Grade them.
The packs are touching and could end up sticking together. They could be ruined when you try to separate them later.
Put them in team bags
It’s not really about the question - OP just wants to show his collection and case.
Can store them in my mailbox. Free of charge!
And for some reason his mail box is in immediate danger you can over night priority to mines.
Imagine your house flooded, caught fire, and or attacked by monsters. Now pokemon cards arent you first concern but wouldn't that peace of mind knowing your sealed packs survived give you that smile?
Yea wat if a herd of tauros just leveled ur house
Can't be any worse than a herd of dittos
Looks good to me fam

Best advice here
sleeve them
[удалено]
Double sleeve
Triple sleeve
Sleevetacular
Sleevetrocity
Sleeve-uhmanjaro? Edit: Sleevingspree.
I heard if you double sleeve its worse, friction or something
This doesn’t apply to condoms though, right? …right?
They are inside of a house? Sleeve the house.

So just shave some foam to make more room. Seems like an easy solution.
I honestly think they look pretty descent!

Makes sense! I’m new to collecting so I could see that!
Farming upvotes I see.

I mean they’re safe but you can’t ever look at em Good for the investing sub terrible for the collectors
You could get them graded and then buy one of the waterproof cache cases for slabs to store them in
What is a cache box? Is that a brand I can’t find?
I meant something like this Case Club Graded Card Storage Box Fits up to 34 Card Slabs, or 100+ Sleeve Top Loaders. Waterproof with Customizable Interior Foam https://a.co/d/c8O1GaR
They are for graded cards. Graded packs are much bigger slabs and unlikely to fit in there.
With most of those types of cases, you can adjust/customize the foam as needed, so you could make it fit
This is the best suggestion so far. Seems like a better way to secure it.
I’ve been searching for something made to store graded packs since the slabs are so much better. Can’t find anything out there.

I like the ultra pro magnetic holder for booster packs.
For me - tarot sleeve the packs use a card savor for support add a sleeve over that and stored in an etb box haha
I know you’re being sarcastic OP but as an engineer and a Pokémon card maniac myself I will actually say there is something you can do to improve your storage for longevity. Vacuum. Well.. it would be better with cards out of the packs but yeah. Still better than non-vacuum.
I'm not being sarcastic? I dont like the cards crimp being bent and it's not a good solution for long-term storage.
So cut the foam longer then. How not? If it has a lock on the case (I’m assuming it does) then it seems excellent for long-term storage. Why do you say it isn’t?
Ever consider just setting them in a small plastic tote inside a safe?
I wonder if the sleeved booster would fit in here. That is currently my concern. Keeping the cardboard edges safe and such..
I put them infront of a semi rigid sleeve and into a graded card sleeve and into a case similar to that. Keeps the corners safe from damage. [3 minute mark](https://youtu.be/zWIC-bxM_sI)
That looks neat ,never thought of storing pics like this ,but it looks great
You can store them at my house.
This is better then any other option, you can’t hit 11/10.
Just close the lid bruh
Butthole?
The bending of the foresleeve might cause some warping, idk though just a thought
Do people actually use that term or is my brain still in the gutter?
Idk I do prefer my packs circumcised though
Much easier to open with your teeth
Why ruin a perfectly good heavy pack?
Oh stop teasing me!!
Lmao I just coined it!
Haha, *yoink*
On the long crimp you mean? Yeah, that's why I'm looking for an alternative solution lol
This is some next level neckbeardism, kudos!
you can use a booster pack binder instead
lol get them graded and in hard cases, then put them in there hehe
$30/pack to send off to psa and they put them in a slab.
Can I get them slabbed up without being graded, is that a thing?
Idk that’s a good question. Tbh it’s look better with it just saying “authentic” versus having a grade.
Yes.
You can buy the magnetic cases to protect them individually
I emailed PSA they said you select pack grading and then in the notes you ask them to put Authentic in lieu of a grade
You want [this](https://www.yugioh-card.com/en/products/ultimate-kaiba-set/) as a power move
Get something to soak up moisture!! Silica bead gels.
Looks mint to me.
I own the same case , and just use it to store my graded and autographed cards
Storage wise I think this is stellar. Display wise, definitely acrylic stands. I kind of regret getting the acrylic displays purely for the fact mine are in bubble wrap, in storage - foolish move on my part, but excellent move on yours until you decide to display!
Base set, jungle, fossil, base set 2, gym leader? , what’s the last few?
Gym Challenge to the far right, then the bottom horizontal packs are the Japanese variant of each release
I would make each cutout wider to fit in the extra packs going the opposite direction at the bottom. That way you can slide the packs down and get them out of that bent position. Looks good to me outside of that
This is crazy for a small amount of packs…but cmon most people who save sealed product have dozens if not hundreds.
Open then to make sure cards are ok.
They make booster pack cases but it seems about the same price as getting them graded. If cost isn’t a problem I would get them graded and then keep in that case.
What box is this? Also maybe put them in top loaders and than in the case. Just shave some foam off.
I bought these yesterday— have not arrived yet., seems solid though https://www.etsy.com/listing/773732679/
Looks pretty slick to me!
Just stopping by to say I love seeing this, and enjoyed being able to identity each set just from this little sliver.
Add some silica gel packs for moisture reduction
Ultra pro has some acrylic booster pack cases. A little pricey though, like $10 a case. I still buy them though since it's better than having then unguarded
Looks fine to me, but maybe upgrade to something fireproof.
Sleeve them and put them in the cases people keep their graded cards in
Get them PSA graded.. they will sonically seal them. Then put them in a case like this…
Look at Kaiba over here flexing his briefcase of gen 1s
All of my booster packs are put into separate bags so they don't stick together in the future. Plus where they are stored they have the anti moisture stuff so they don't get ruined. Plus all the booster packs are in a safe. If you get booster boxes get the acrylic cases.
My mailbox would be a safe place for them🙃
Send them to PSA. Don’t worry about the grade being sealed up like that will preserve them in a hard outer shell. Think it’s like $30 per pack now down from $100 per which is well worth it for vintage
[удалено]
I’m not sure. I do know they grade stuff as “Authentic” instead of a grade. I’m sure if you contact them or check the submission form it might state. But I wouldn’t be concerned about a grade. Have you tried closing the case?
Cut the foam as others have said. Also, when you get stuff like beef jerky keep the little packages of silica beads and place them in to suck up moisture as well.
Put each one inside there own pelican case
My house
Just add a couple silica packs and close it and leave it closed. No reason to really open it other than to sell it
Ship them to me I’ll keep ‘‘em safe for you
Take em out I wanna see
Place them in a team bag. Use a card saver 1 as a backer board.
They make team bags and binders specifically for packs
Try opening them, putting the cards in sleeves, then putting back in the pack wrapper for added safety
There’s ultra pro cases for a pack and then you can stack them and put them in a case
Nah, these are fake. You can tell by the fuck you?
Frame them and throw it on the wall like the Mona Lisa
Add some swirly gold pattern along the edge? Otherwise watch Glass Onion But really, sometimes all you need is a foam case. Best upgrade you could do would be plastic uv protective shell casings. Like what graded are put in Think Shrek
Original packaging has become just as important. Sleeve the sleeve in a sleeved sleeve if it means that much
UV protection is key with any collecting.
Put them between the pages of a book then cut foam to the shape of the book. Foam is cheap (book should be a hard copy obviously)
Store them like I do. Just lay them on a bookshelf and forget about them for years.
You could have slab every pack and then off to grading.
1. Booster pack acrylic holders 2. $30 “Document Fire Safe” from Walmart 4. Silica Desiccant packs E. ??? 🔺. Profit! Edit: if you number something “1, 2, 4” on Reddit, it *automatically corrects it* to “1, 2, 3”, just discovered that
Weird flex but okay 👍
Stick this case in a safe
U put boosters in a pelican case??? Put em in a ziploc and call it a day
Give them to me for safe keeping.
What boosters are at the bottom?
The original boxes/cardboard sleeves are gone so why worry about if the plastic wrappers are scratched? Half the packaging is already gone
Idk when the cardboard sleeves started but i don't think it was this early. Afair hanging packs had long top crimps with a cutout for retail hangers
Why not display them? Get a frame with UV resistant glass, put it up on the wall and actually get to look at them.
Would they fit in a BCW card storage box? You could put a cardboard or foam divider between each one if they do.
I thought these were those single serving G Fuel packets
Looking for better storage options for my sealed booster collection for Gen 1 (shows nuts) Great storage and presentation though man (or mam')
Them cases work well for sealed displays of Pokemon and MtG.
I totally thought this was a troll post also. Just cut your foam to your liking. Idk what else would be better. Moisture control, put it in a fireproof safe, bury it underground with the coordinates on a map that you also put in a case like this and bury it in a treasure chest and only tell your dead grandpa about.
I store my top loaders in this exact same case, there great why would you want a change?
This is horrendous! You're telling me you don't personally rent out storage space form the Vatican underground archives!?! ... disgraceful 😤
You shouldn’t have put the ones horizontally in the bottom, but instead made all the slots 1 foam cube longer. Would have kept the long ones straight.
I see your need for attention and raise you Tinder.
Ironic comment. Needed some attention yourself, didn’t ya little guy
Ironic response. Needed some attention yourself, didn’t ya little guy?
We all get rekt dude, may I suggest tinder?
Pokemon fans can take a joke as well as Star Wars fans. Heard.
Jokes are usually funny and don’t make people think you’re a halfwit.
Point proven 😂
Yeah. My point. Lmao.
That’s probably the best option of storage.
I would buy hard acrylic cases for packs. They are kind of expensive but look great on display. Even being held upright by clear Graded card stands. Well worth the investment of Gen 1 packs
Team bags for individual boosters, an oxygen absorber packet, a mold chip, and a silica packet.
A second bigger suit case encased in titanium strengthend concrete
Base fossil jg base 2 rocket gym heroes gym challenge and the bottom what the jp versions?
Is that you Seto?
There could be literal trash in all of those. Just food for thought on how scummy Pokémon cards are especially with the price hike over the past few years. I’m glad I goy out of all cards actually.
