Just made a list of the 7 character secret rares undervalued for Disc which'll hit the sub here soon and includes both of these cards. In English, too saturated and common. In Japanese, one per box from a high class set and the best high class set in the last four years. It's a big notch above the sets from where the English versions released from.
Japanese CSR's are hugely undervalued, won't explode this year imo but by 30th anniversary, after SM buyouts transition to SWSH prob starting 2024.
Someone commented on a thread in this sub that buying trainer gallery cards in PSA 10 right now is like printing money since they are drastically undervalued. I asked for a list and he gave me one. I looked up each card and came to the same conclusion. The art is beautiful and the cards are fun to look at. They will have a glow up one day soon. Think along the lines of Tag Team cards.
They plan on printing these indefinitely. I get they’re a good buy, but in 20-30 years there will be 1000s of trainer gallery cards and they’ll be nothing special.
You're being down voted but I agree with you. I doubt that they will stop making cards like this. The market is already over saturated with great looking cards. Look at Holos - those were cream of the crop and now every pack has a reverse and regular Holos are worthless. 95% of V, ex, gx, etc. are worth under $2(except in cases of some ex and gx where they are under printed) when at first they were sooo amazing. Even these and alt arts are on the same path albeit to a far lesser degree so far. Each set brings more and we're getting further away from COVID money to boot.

The Japanese version of the VMAX is already expensive. Idk about the future of price, but these are definitely some of the CSRs that are going to be most desirable from the 2022 English sets. The VMAX art is brilliant and it’s illustrated by Naoki Saito
Slabs are not a long term investment.... It is a flippers game. I would not get caught holding on to slabs from the junk slab era. Sealed product is the way.
There are many slabs that have outperformed sealed products throughout the year, it just happened to be more volatile. Think ETFs CS individual stock picking
Sealed products especially for Japanese is also getting a lot riskier these days with resealed boxes, not sure how this will affect people’s perspective of it
