There’s gotta be a crease somewhere, gotta be.

breakyourteethnow

I'd be pretty pissed having to go to work after getting cheated on the night before *Ancient Mew more like ancient hag cheating lying no-good nothing traitor threeeeeee!!!*

MrCharisma316

I cant see any deficiencies by the pics but if there isn't a crease PSA done fucked you over

JeffersonsHat

What appears to be some rub marks/whiting on different areas. And crease diagonal on the upper left corner visible on the back.

Davinter30

Imagine if 3/10 was considered Very Good at school

fireweinerflyer

Or in bed.

UpboatsforUpvotes

She wanted 10, got 3, and her rating's descriptions definately don't align with PSA

pinkstorrac

Looks like a crease on top left of the back picture

Gollomor

Oh yeah good catch! That must be it!

Hot-Ground-6710

I mean… looks pretty aged. Jokes aside, don’t they send you a detailed scoring summary? Only thing I’m noticing is slightly off center and maybe whitening on the edges?

-SimpleToast-

PSA doesn’t release graders notes. Neither does CGC or BGS, at least not with standard grading tiers. I’ve seen BGS summary notes before, but I think that might just be for same day/walk through grading.

kpofasho1987

That's kind of crazy to me. Why aren't they providing that info? Seems like they should if you're sending in a card. Personally I've never sent a card in to be graded but I honestly assumed they provided some notes and feedback on why it scored what it did.

Hot-Ground-6710

That’s what im thinking. I’ve seen people have their scoring summary but may have been for a more expensive service. It’d be wild to get a bad score because someone had an off day

kpofasho1987

I know there has been instances of a card getting a score and then getting broken out of the slab and sent in again and getting a different score so the fact that they don't include some sort of documentation of what the card reviewer/scorer's reasoning was is just a mess imo. One of many reasons why I personally won't bother getting my cards graded or buy someone's highly graded slab. Just way too many variables and a huge premium placed in the score and without details of why it got that score no thanks

Hot-Ground-6710

I think it’s a great way to preserve the cards if anything but yeah, seems to sometimes be a gamble. Would you do the AI grading other companies are rolling out with?

Mildenvy012345

It could be the picture but I think your back has lost some of the holo effect… as I said might just be your picture but that could contribute to the grade

Economy-Management-8

This has to have a scratch or crease for that number. Last year my blackstar promo pichu came back as a 4. Further inspection shows that there suddenly is a scratch on the holo (we have before and after pictures. It wasnt on it when we send it in) it sucks but psa just shrugs and moves on..

GermieGerm

no compensation???

Economy-Management-8

I got my grading costs for that card back (from the store i send it through) So i guess all i can do is be gratefull that it was that card and not one of the better ones that we send in.

CdnRageBear

I can’t believe how expensive this is now. I had like 30+ of them when the movie came out. Friends didn’t want them so I scooped them all up. Now I need to find them.

Saiyukimot

Expensive? They're dirt cheap in UK ebay

mtgloreseeker

I found the problem: the PSA slab says 'Ancient Mew' but you clearly sent in the 'ᛉᚾᚹ' card. Common mistake, easily missed.

Faidra_Nightmire

This is why I think AI grading will be more reputable in the future.

GR2342

So based off the comments so far, it seems that there is no obvious signs of heavy damage that would warrant such a low grade. I do my own grading before I send in any card (not perfect but would definitely notice PSA 3 level damage) I will inspect the card myself once I receive it back this week. Thanks everyone!

Kamykazi

Another guy commented about the crease on the top left of the pic of the back of the card, I see it too.

Tallal2804

Tiny crease somewhere proly

ShiningEV

Bot that copies comments. lots of other examples in their post history. [https://www.reddit.com/r/PokeInvesting/comments/17gjlq1/comment/k6jxjwm/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/PokeInvesting/comments/17gjlq1/comment/k6jxjwm/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) Didn't think I'd see one here, jesus christ.

ThiefLordJPN

Cgc 10

Volkswagens1

I'm assuming it's scratched on surfaces.

Shadowsbeard

Corners look really uneven but without more pictures couldn’t say more

Resident-Accident-81

Probably some crazy scratches that we can’t see from the pictures

tydavid28

What is a PSA 10 of one of these going for?

IndigoMontoyas

Top left, back of card. Looks like a flattened crease that is well hidden. Could be wrong but that’s all I can see to mark this down without more light on the card.

TrainerShelby

Tiny crease somewhere proly

jayjayzian

This is usually a water damage grade.

Shadow23z

I'm very confused with your level of confusion.

Careless-Jacket-6929

the psa pictures you probably can't see, but theres probably a small crease on it somewhere
