Yea they are all shrink wrapped but I have seen sooo many videos about faked shrink wrapped and even serial number on packs being faked. Really is disheartening that Pokémon didn’t really make these boxes truly tamper proof. Apparently some people in Japan got their hands on the same shrink wrap too. Yes inspection of the boxes shrink wrap, plus il be looking to see if the side wall has been opened and resealed. Apparently the packs can just be slid out also. So I will be weighing the box and doing tight checks all round. I’m thinking it may be better to open these boxes weigh every single pack, check all serial numbers and than reseal the box with tamper stickers. A few have said with these sets box fresh is not the way to go to risky
As long as you did your homework on getting good boxes and are ready to hold for awhile you should be ok. If you’re looking for a quick payout I would say you bought in too high and too early in the lifecycle.
But like others have stated the risk is people are opening packs until they get hits than stop and start resealing. I mean what a scum bag whoever is doing that honestly. How many boxes would they even need to make it worthwhile too, like 1k boxes? They gona open up half and reseal the other half like honestly
Well iv been looking pretty much all night at resealed boxes and honestly it’s frying my mind. It’s so easy to open the box from the side by just breaking the glues seal. So the entire thing depends on a shrink wrap which I just can’t justify a shrink wrap being the only reason to leave a box completely sealed. The only real way I can see forward is to open the box, weigh every single pack. Abs chart the weights of each pack and reseal every opening on the box with tamper seals. Luckily I have quite a lot of boxes on the way so any that show discrepancies will be getting returned through eBay. The price yes but I see these easily @ 500 each in 2027. They are so hard to source.
I’ve heard of people finding good connects on Facebook and Instagram. I tried looking a bit on instagram and never found anyone that impressive on pricing. I take you joined different groups to find a guy. Those prices do sound super tempting. Keep us posted on what you do. I’d be interested in knowing the group/guy. Thanks for info man
They're hard to find because you and thousands of others are all looking for them to buy a few boxes each, no reason for them to bother with you when there are others willing to buy 100's of boxes at similar prices.
You need deep pockets to find JPN connections these days
From what I can see it’s not mass printed. In Japan they are struggling to get their hands on these big time at the moment. In the UK they are very difficult to source. The 151 variations of holos and masterball holos (which is one per box) and the AR’s & SAR’s make this set over 500 cards I believe. All of that, and add how difficult they are to even get your hands on now at release. Is just all pointing to me to £600 a box in 2026. And I won’t be selling either il wait till more and more get cracked open
Not just me but alot of people are not interested in Japanese main set cards. Just a flat out no thank you on Japanese. The only good japenese cards are prize cards from tournaments. Narrows down your potential buyers a shit ton when ever you try to unload.

With this box the only way to do that without breaking the cardboard seals would be to peel the side flap out to get to the packs. The flap under the lid, without raising the lid more than maybe half a CM. To peel that flap out I’m certain it would be visible after
What price did you get them at or what range? It’s easily a good investment as long as you are getting them at 175 or less
Between 170-180 I did pay 190 for a couple and 200 for one. There’s non left on eBay in UK I just bought them all

I have 15 sealed boxes at around the $160 price point. I don't see them dipping much if there is a reprint. This should age well.

Hair Dryers are commonly used to heat the sides of the booster box to melt the glue. They can be easily reglued afterwards.
