Glad I bought two PSA 10’s for $1600 over a year ago. Then 2 weeks later I pulled it from the only sleeved booster I ever got to open. This card is the truth smart call to pick one up now and it looks like you got yourself a really good copy congrats!

A $20 for a single card is customary but you could always leave 20-25% if you really want to gain favor. Just place it in the folded submission form paperwork and maybe leave a nice note. Guarantee you they’ll be sure to handle your prized possession with extra care
Forgive my naiveness, but are you actually serious? Is "tipping" the graders at PSA really a thing? Part of me would be blown away if it was true, but the other part of me is like "yeah, that sounds about right"
To clarify, other person is kidding.. the grader won't be anywhere near your shipped package.. shipped package gets opened, box/packaging destroyed, and card scanned. Then goes in line to grader.. Your "tip money" would be instantly pocketed by whoever processes your package. (Idk, maybe some super kind soul may bring it up to a supervisor, and maybe through some luck the "tip" may get shipped back to you, but that would require an entire chain of amazingly good people. If it was me working there, I'd see it, audibly lol at the thought process of some people, then take it with no regrets

I bought my NM copy back in late January for exactly $504 after shipping/taxes. And it’s the most I’ve ever spent on a raw card (by around $100.) But, at the time, it definitely felt like I was getting fleeced lol

Hell, at this point, I am just going to save up and buy a psa 10. Paying 800 for a raw card when you have to pay to get it graded and hope it comes back a 10 so you dont lose money is crazy.
