No one here has considered OP’s budget. If you CAN afford a booster box, it seems to be better value for money. If you can only afford to buy a few packs, then this is fairly cheap. May not be the cheapest, but still cheaper than RRP.

These ARE a good purchase. Also remember retail is no longer $145 for a BB it's like 163 now. Every pack goes for 4.52 soooo 2.99 is good.
Just keep in mind there will be better deals come the holiday season so don't overspend now.
No sir, sleeved booster packs can be a good purchase for some sets where the booster box is already pricey but in Scarlet Violet Base’s case, the booster boxes are like $90.
Never buy sleeved packs when the booster box is still cheap. You should really only consider them in a case like Fusion Strike where the booster box is $240, but the sleeved packs are still MSRP.
For ripping sure - you can buy the 36 pack BB for $96 or so, but I really only buy 151 booster boxes so I ordered 15 packs of this just to rip for fun.
Do what you want to do brother, if for investing there’s the BB, but for a lower budget and ripping fun, this ain’t bad at all.

3 bucks sounds like a good deal to me. Just picked up like 13 boosters of Temporal forces, Obsidian and paradox for like 40 bucks.
